Car Not Prepped
by 04/30/2022
onI drove from Columbia to look at a used Tesla Model S. Seriously thought I would buy it and drive it home. When I powered it up the battery was almost completely discharged and warnings were flashing on the dash. Even if I had wanted to buy the car after that I couldn't have driven it back to Columbia without a long charging wait.

Bad sales experience with Toyota of Greenville
by 11/16/2016
onPurchased a new $50,000.00 truck with an additional rim and tire package to be added later. Specifically asked the sales person if we would receive the original tires and rims back. His answer was yes we would. Fast forward a few weeks later to pick up truck after package was installed. We only find the old rims in the truck, no tires. When asked about the tires the sales person said they couldn't transport them back to us. Reminded him that he said we would get them back. He says he will speak to his manager and get back to us the next day. No call after several days, so I call him. His story changes to he never said we would get the tires back. He says the tires were not on the original invoice and were free so pretty much I get nothing. Pretty much told me they were not willing to do anything. These tires were on the vehicle when I purchased and drove it off the lot, so free or not I owned them at that point. I did not sign anything that said they would not be returned with the vehicle.

Keeping my old 2000 Toyota Solara in good running condition
by 12/01/2015
onThe work was done well and finished on time. I'm retired and living on government checks. It's important to me to keep my car running without major repairs I cannot afford. So far, the dealership has done a great job making that happen.

Highlander 5000-mile service
by 11/30/2015
onI had an 11:00am appointment the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Routine 5K maintenance, no repairs. But I expected it to be busy then, and I was right, so I resigned myself to cooling my jets in the waiting area for at least 90 minutes. To my surprise and delight, they had me in and out of there in less than 45! Quick, clean and friendly service. Couldn't ask for better. BTW, this is the second vehicle I've purchased and keep maintained at Toyota of Greenville. I have never had a bad experience there.

Flat Tire on Road / Service at Shop
by 11/29/2015
onWife had flat tire on road- contacted Toyota of Greenville- was forwarded to Service Dept- was told that Toyota does not do service calls and we should had taken the Road Assistance offered, wife asked if Toyota of Greenville could check to see if we had Roadside Assistance and if so, provide a contact number, wife was told Toyota of Greenville could not do that. My wife changed the tire herself. This is very disappointing that your team could not check if Roadside Assistance was purchased (it was), and provide a number, yet left her alone on the highway with no assistance from Toyota.

Service Technician drove off with my lugnut socket in his pocket
by 11/23/2015
onHad my scheduled 30K service completed at Toyota of Greenville. Scheduled it online. Fine. Arrived for my appointment. Told the service advisor about my previous horrible experience having the oil change there. The technician failed to tighten the nut on my oil pan. Leaked all over the carport floor. Could have wound up costing the dealership a brand new Tundra if I hadn't caught the leak in time. So one would think that they would make doubly sure not to screw up on my vehicle service appointment this time. not so much. I have security lugs on my tires. You have to have the tool to remove the tires. I brought it of course. I guess the technician liked it. He put in his pocket and drove off the dealership. They notify me my service has been completed. Fine. Go to get into my truck and leave. No tool. Now you can't removed the tires without it. What if I get a flat. I'm stranded. I go back in to the service bay. They tell me the technician put it in his pocket and drove off. Seriously? We wait there for about 10 to 15 minutes after I could've been driving home, while we wait for him to come back. I get caught in 5 o' clock traffic as a consequence. Not so convenient? Not so being a little extra careful not to screw up my service experience after the oil pan nut leak incident. NIce. This is the kind of expectation for a jack-legged mom and pop garage. Not a Toyota dealership service department.

Efficient, friendly, thorough
by 11/20/2015
onMost of my periodic maintenance visits for my 10-year-old car result in hundreds of dollars in repairs that are identified during the multi-point inspection. But this time the identified "repairs" were suggestions, which I postponed until they became "requirements." No hassle, no prodding. A real pleasure.

Amazing Experience
by 09/01/2015
onHaving never bought a car before, I was quite hesitant to even set foot on the dealership's lot for fear of being jumped by bloodthirsty salesmen looking for their next opportunity. However, I was shocked when, as I approached the facility, an attendant simply asked if someone had assisted me yet or if I needed some help. That was just the first of many, many great moments from then on. I would definitely recommend that anyone visit this dealership if they are in the market for a Toyota or a new car for that matter.

Good Dealership
by 06/18/2015
onToyota of Greenville was a good place to look for a new car. I had a 2006 Sienna and it was time for a new one. I had worked with Carlos some months ago, driven a test car and now was the time to get down to the negotiations. The people were easy to deal with and I got a good deal on a 2015 Sienna SE.

Steller Service
by 12/22/2014
onTook the car in on a Saturday not knowing exactly what the problem was or how serious. They diagnosed, fixed, and returned the car that day and charged a fair price. Second time I have had to use them. Again, they met all of my expectations of what good affordable service is. Kudos.....

Tire Sensor
by 11/03/2014
onThought I had a tire losing air due to a possible puncture. Seems the tire sensor on my 2012 Prius V performs 2 functions. Not only will it detect low pressure in a tire it will also indicate if it detects a significant difference in pressure BETWEEN tires. Who knew? In any case the matter was handled in a most courteous manner by Service Adviser Ken Hodges with an explanation without any cost. Since I've only been in the Greenville area for 2 years my experience may be limited with Greenvile Toyota but every instance, whether for service or advice, has made me glad that they exist. If they continue with this type of service they will be my go-to dealer whether for a purchase or service.

Integrity counts
by 05/30/2014
onWith the normal passage of time, I was notified that my Prius was "due" for certain standard services and checks. Upon arrival, my service advisor, Kyle, determined that our minimal usage of the car (as we are now retired) meant that we did not yet need the service that many people do. Thus a multi-point inspection and alignment check were conducted just to make sure, and there was no cost. Now that's the kind of integrity that makes a customer want to come back when service is needed.

Now that's what I'm talking about
by 05/23/2014
onWhen you start shopping for a car, do you set expectations? As a Sales Strategist charged with leveraging cultures and skillsets for our company, defining expectations is my first step. I wanted a new car, a Camry specifically. The reasons are numerous, the top; stylish, safety rated, gas mileage, sedan. The expectation was more focused on the monthly payment, and duration of payments. Josh R started our relationship as I would expect, with questions and conversation pertaining to what I wanted for my new car. The balance of our conversations was very customer centric (best part; I was the customer!). It did not take us long to find the perfect car on the lot, the financing was equally as quick. Done, I'm the proud owner of a 2014 Camry. It's a beautiful car, and I am a very happy owner.

Sales Review

onI wanted a new car about the same size as my trade in. I chose the RAV-4. The sales person Michelle S was knowledgeable about all the particular features that I wanted. Her happy and quick were a breath of fresh air.
