This was my second purchase from Hurd. I was disappointed to find out that Hurd is now owned by Balise. My first purchase I was given a years free oil changes, no longer offered and was not negotiable. Waiting to hear on a part and replacement of drivers side headlight cover as it’s fogged in comparison to the other. I’m not over confident that will happen. Could be my last purchase here.

After a long search involving several dealerships, Dave and Kyle at Hurd Chevrolet were most helpful in not only finding the right vehicle, but working with us to get a price that fit a tight budget. Dave worked hard to make the numbers work and Kyle was a patient test drive co-pilot, even offering a “lesson” on using the rear camera to aid in backing into tight spaces. For someone who hadn’t purchased a new vehiicle in 18 years (yes, 18 years), this was a very pleasant way to end to a week-long quest for the perfect vehicle. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who wants to be treated fairly in what can sometimes seem a process that involves lots and lots of smoke and mirrors.

Salesperson didn't want to be bothered. Sales manager is the biggest [non-permissible content removed] I ever met. It is people like him that give car salesmen a bad name. Crazy part was...I would have paid them what they wanted for the vehicle...they just were so rude that we never got there. Maybe one day they will realize that the people they don't want to be bothered with are the ones that pay their salaries and commissions. Pathetic.

I got an awesome deal on my 2015 Terrain and I love it and the deal I got on the vehicle. Sales manager and Salesperson was VERY helpful in getting a deal together as quickly as possible and providing an excellent price on my trade in. The ONLY negative comment I have was that the salesman should have been more knowledgeable about the OnStar features the Terrain came with. I was lead to believe that once I initiated and installed the remote app on my phone that I would have control over the vehicle functions including remote start. This was NOT the case. I was really loving the idea of the remote start over the internet but was disappointed a little because the sales rep should have definately known my model did not have that available through the onstar application - other than that I will recommend the dealership to my family and friends.

Very good experience at Hurd. Salesperson was knowledgable of the product, Sales Manager was willing to negotiate in a fair and professional manner. Finance person was not pushy on "extras" and was honest and upfront about rates and terms. The dealership has a monthly "new owners" meeting for new and used vehicle purchasers that is facilitated by the Owner, Chris H. and introduces the General Manager, Service Manager and reviews dealership history, service aspects, key personnel and requests any and all feedback from their customers. As always it's not the deal you got, it's the deal you think you got and I felt that I got a very fair deal and had an overall positive experience. I did my homework, researched what I wanted for a vehicle and what i knew was a fair amount for my trade, was upfront and honest w/ them and in return they were upfront and honest w/ me. I would recommend a visit to the Hurd Auto Group and give them a shot at your business.
