In February I special ordered a Mustang for a birthday. Since it was a special order (unique option combination) the car could not be obtained by finding one somewhere else. Following many phone calls and e-mails from the sales staff to Ford, I got a call Thursday afternoon, 2 days before the birthday, that the car was in. The sales staff offered to come in Sunday morning (the actual birthday) for our delivery pick-up. I decided Saturday would be more of a surprise and the sales manager agreed to meet us then. On Saturday morning the sales staff met us and there was the new Mustang on the showroom floor with a giant bow on the roof, and they all joined in to sing the happy birthday song. I don't know how these folks could have worked harder to make this once in a lifetime experience any more perfect. By the way, the final price was exactly what I was told it would be. There were no "hidden" or "extra" fees or charges. These folks were extraordinary.

Horrible Customer Service

by reviewer32 on 09/02/2016

I think that this company uses low pricing postings as click-bait. Either that, or their customer service is just horrible. I sent an email through the cars.com website and received an email from Ken Pollock's that said that the price listed on cars.com was good for 2 days. The email asked when I could come in for a credit check. I asked if we could do the check by phone or on-line, since I live 30 minutes away. Since I had recently bought a house, which lowers your credit rating, I wanted to make sure that I qualified before I drove all the way there. The response was: "Let me talk to my manager and see what he says. I will get back in touch with you later today. Thanks, Steven Abbatiello" 48 hours later -- no response from Ken Pollock's and the "great price deal" has expired. Do what I did -- Go to Hazleton Auto Mall and buy from them instead. They have REAL deals and great customer service, unlike the click-bait ads and false promises of "we'll get back to you" at Ken Pollock. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Terrible place to do business with!

by Avid_Car_Buyer on 02/23/2016

In 2013 when they were still called Zeisloft Brothers I attempted to purchase a new car from them. I came in on a Friday around 6:30 and the salesperson who came out to greet me told me they close at 7 and asked if I could come back on Saturday. I agreed and came back when they opened the next day. I was looking at a ford explorer sport they had on the lot. The sales person was hesitant to let me drive it, and reminded me and my wife that this is a $50k vehicle and they don't let just anyone take them for a drive. They wanted us to be pre-approved through their lenders for financing before allowing us to drive it. I informed the sales person that that wouldn't be necessary because I already had an autodraft from my credit union. After getting permission from his manager he took us on a very rushed test drive. We went into his office to talk numbers and they wouldn't move off of msrp. I told him there were a few other dealers in the area who had the same car and they were all able to better than MSRP. He took that info to his sales manager and after about an hour he informs me that his sales manager had to step out for a while, and that he had another appointment scheduled with another customer and that he would call me later. Never heard back from him. The following Monday my wife and I went to another Ford dealer in our area and purchased the same vehicle for a lot less than Zeisloft was willing to sell it for. Fast forward 2 years, and I find myself at the same dealer, however it is now called Ken Pollock. I figured, new ownership; I guess I'll give them another chance. This time I'm in the market for a new F150. They had a few 2015's on their website, and one of them was exactly what I was looking for. When I get there I only see 2 or 3 f150. The sales person comes out and I tell him what they had on their website. He tells me the site is wrong and it's inventory that hasn't arrived yet. As I'm leaving I find another row of vehicles at the end of the lot and there is the truck I came to look at. I go back into the dealership and the sales person walks out and looks at the truck with me. Tells me the didn't realize they had those on the lot yet and goes to get keys for a test drive. I drove the truck and really liked it so we talked numbers. I had no trade so it was really easy to know what a competitive price was on this truck. The best price they could offer it to me (and that was after several trips back to the sales manager) was thousands more than any other dealer in the area. When I told the sales person another dealer in the area has the same truck, but in a different color for almost $5k less he told me that is impossible and to go buy it. I took his advice and did just that.

"you paid $5,200.00 for a car, your lucky it even works"

by justfinethanku on 01/20/2015

That was the response I got from the manager here at Zeisloft Bros when I asked them to fix the cruise control on the car I had JUST purchased. I left the dealership on Monday night thinking I got a great deal on a used 2004 Chevy Malibu. The listing said the car had cruise control, keyless entry and a stack of other features. 2 minutes after leaving the lot I got on the highway and noticed that the cruise control was not working at all and the keyfobs were missing from the keys. I immediately called them about the issue and was told that the manager had "gone home for the day" (dealership didn't close for another half an hour and he was just there 3 minutes ago!!!) and I was told to come by in the morning. Boy was I in for a shock. Instead of being politely greeted and having the car scheduled to be repaired I was told that I should have bought the additional warranty and they were prepared to do absolutely nothing to fix the issues . I asked the salesguy to bring me to a manager I could speak to and he said there was no manager in. As he was telling me this I noticed a guy in the standard blue manager shirt watching us from the window. I walked past the salesman and asked "blue shirt" if he was the manager. He told me no, and pointed to the sales guy "that's the manager." I pointed out that he was the guy who filed my paperwork the night before and he had addressed himself as the manager previously. He then changed his story and said he was just the manager and not the owner, there was nothing he could do for me and tough luck, because "you paid $5,200.00 for a car and your lucky it even runs." From the sales guys to the management this place is shady at best and [non-permissible content removed] at worst. They lied to me about the features of this car so I would buy it and when I called them on it they refused to honor their side of the bargain. BUYER BEWARE.
