Good experience

by Randesteban on 02/25/2017

I was thoroughly impressed purchasing my used 2015 jeep wrangler here. I originally sent an email through their website and salesman Ed Gallagher called me back. I expressed my interest in purchasing a Jeep Wrangler and several days later went in to the dealership. The process was very easy and simple, I told him what I wanted, what I had for a down payment, what I could afford monthly. He showed me a couple options and test drove and talked numbers. I had a few errands to do and literally signed a couple papers, came back a 2 hours later it was sitting ready for me with no issues as I picked it up. I've bought several cars through dealerships before and this was the easiest car buying experience I've ever had. When I'm ready to purchase my next vehicle I will be returning to tony domiano to purchase.

False dealings,lied to!!!

by Devan002 on 01/15/2016

I bought a used car was told the payments eod be around 265 per month after signing the papers .The sales man tells me that they made a mistake and that the payments are now 317 a month also found out that the car is worth 2000 dollars less than they sold it to me on Kelly blue book. There was also cigarette butts in my ash tray after I took the car home.they did not even clean up the car.after a couple of days Eddie Gallagher the sales man say I still owe another three hundred dollars to the dealership?? Ya right I think I been screwed enough by them!!!

run run rrruuuunnnn

by foamer4life on 07/29/2014

I bought a used ram 3500 from these guys. 3 months later it wouldn't start or do anything. After a days worth of problem solving I got it to run good enough to get it back to them. They knew when I got there that I was in a jam. The salesman told me for the trailer I pull everyday for work I didn't need such a big truck and that a new 2014 ram 1500 would pull it just fine. Even went as far as to show me a book that stated it was capable. After having the truck for 3 months I'm finding out it is not what they said. I call Chrysler them self's and they looked up my truck by Vin and stated it was only capable of towing a completely different number then the salesman told me. Now I'm stuck with a truck that is useless to me and when I ask the salesman again if there is anything that can be done he stated to bring it down and possibly we could trade it in with a lot of money down. I just gave $8000 down on a truck that is crap.....there should be laws and rules against places like this.....never in a million years will I go hear again or recommend anyone here....and this was the second car I had purchased from this dealership in 4 years.....not again.... if you are even thinking of a new or used car.....stay far far away from thus place.

A Real WOW Experience

by MtBiker100 on 12/11/2013

With somebody in the public eye as much as Tony Domiano one would think that Mr. Domiano’s hand shake is worth something. We came to an agreement and Tony ordered a vehicle for me on November 2, 2013. I waited until December 10, 2013 for the Jeep to arrive at the dealership. When I showed up with my trade they said that the wholesaler is no longer interested in it and that we cannot do the deal with my trade involved. Keep in mind; this is a car that they already made an offer on. This dealer is first class classic car sales. There are plenty of other dealers willing to accept your money, go elsewhere.

Dishonest [non-permissible content removed]

by rippedoffsteve on 12/07/2013

This is nothing against the Chrysler Corp but I cannot state more emphatically that you should not trust Tony Domiano Chrysler Jeep Dodge, Rt 6, Scranton-Carbondale Hwy, in Eynon, PA because they really don’t have any idea what it is like to be honest, decent, and trustworthy people, and I consider them thieves. In fact on more than one occasion they have lied to me, deceived me, and I have paid for goods and services I've yet to receive over a span of several MONTHS, and am also out of pocket additional monies because of this. And their negligence is next to inexcusable. I've dealt specifically with a salesman named Don “Donny“ R, and the Sales Manager, James (Jim) K, and if they tell you that water is wet, I strongly advise you to double-check because so far all they’ve brought to my transaction were lies and more lies, and I for one feel extremely wronged. For years I saved-up for a brand new dump truck for my business, and was really excited that this was the year! A few customizations, a hand-picked color, and this baby was going to be the flagship of my business! On delivery day it was an exciting {over} an hour-and-one-half drive from where I live near Philly, as I was really looking forward to driving this truck! I should have tried to cancel the deal the minute I saw the truck as it was painfully obvious that the pre-delivery inspection (PDI) was never done. The interior was filthy, the protective plastic shrink-wrap was still on the radio and instrumentation, many fuses weren’t installed, wire harnesses were not installed, there was magic marker all over the windows and headlights, and it was obvious the prep – the fluff – was not done. And there was NO gas in the tank. Within five minutes of leaving the lot the low fuel light came on and do you know what it’s like to look for diesel fuel after 8:00 at night in an area you barely know? The engine was truly sputtering by the time I found a station and fueled up the truck at my expense. Additionally, the next day, after loading the first load, it became painfully obvious that the tires were never fully inflated which explained the horrible gas mileage I experienced driving it home. Not only is this negligent act a terrible risk to my safety, it also can severely damage brand new tires. When I ordered the truck I ORDERED AND PAID FOR a remote start kit and a Brake Rheostat (controller). I want to be clear: this dealership’s salesman, Donny, allowed me to order accessories for my truck. I {obviously} was told by Donny the work could and would be done, and I paid $1,000 up front to get this done. After I took delivery I realized these items were not done. When I called the next day I was told that the items were on back-order. A few weeks later when I called to find out what was going on, I was assured that the parts were now in and I was to bring the truck back up and all would be taken care of (includes some of the other items that should have been done during the PDI). At my additional expense and time, I had to drive back up to Scranton (gas and tolls) and pay to have one of my employees to drive a 2nd vehicle up (gas and tolls AND the employee’s time) to take me home as the work would take a day. I dropped the tuck off on a Friday afternoon. The following Wednesday we drove back up (employee’s time, gas and tolls) and it was obvious that even after four working days that my truck had not moved from where I had left it. I was livid and I got in my truck and drove it home (gas and tolls). And to be clear: the work had not been done, I've now been told it can‘t be done, and I've yet to receive a refund. So now I’m out the $1,000 I prepaid for parts and labor, and I’m also out close to $500 for gas and tolls and my employee’s time. I also consider this very strange: after over two months I've yet to receive any of the usual survey or other customer follow-up materials from Chrysler. Why? Was my information deleted from the system or purposefully put into the system with the wrong information? This is not my first vehicle purchase but it is definitely the first time I've never received a survey. Regardless, I’m out close to $1,500 because of the blatantly deceitful business practices and outright untrustworthiness that is the staff of the unscrupulous Tony Domiano Chrysler Jeep Dodge, Rt 6, Scranton-Carbondale Hwy, in Eynon, PA., and I want it back.

Terrible Experience and FORGET Service

by brianthomas1 on 12/09/2012

I have bought vehicles all over the State and this dealership is the worst experience I have ever had. Aside from the managers and owners continuing to tell you that "everything they have is paid for, and there is no floor plan", they DO NOT know how to treat customers. They are backhanded with their paperwork, backhanded with their financing, and just not good people. I don't know the Domoano's, but I would not buy anything from them ever again. Also, their service is horrific. It is like a place in the mall with fake TV's and such. They don't want to service vehicles, just take advantage of people and sell them.

Tried to sell me a wrecked vehicle as brand new

by kk5 on 02/07/2012

1/26/12 *BEWARE * I almost purchased a 2011 Jeep Compass with only 125 miles on it... yes one hundred and twenty five. Who would think to run a car fax report on a vehicle with only 125 miles? Thank God I did. MSRP was $24,920. They were offering it to me for $19,500. It would've been a great deal if it was in fact BRAND NEW (as they stated over and over again, while insinuating that I was getting an unbelievable deal on a BRAND NEW vehicle). The VIN# on this 2011 Jeep Compass is 1J4NF1FB8BD278251. Check out the car fax report. Being it was wrecked; I would've paid much more than the car was worth. Not to mention time taken off of the "new" vehicle warranty. Someone is in the process of buying this car or already did. I hope they read this. They were trying to sell me more expensive vehicles for $300 a month. I asked over five times for how many months? Finally they replied 84. They were trying to get me to sign the papers before they answered that question.
