Ford F350

Purchased the vehicle from out of the area and when I arrived to purchase the truck the tires and wheels were different than shown in the pictures on the website. Ultimately returned to the dealership and they swapped the tires and wheels from my old pickup, but it required another 300 mile round trip to Eugene. Salesman was attentive and helpful. Trade in value was estimated over the phone and honored by the dealer.

I had a very good experience with Kendall Ford and my salesperson, Martin Neustel. My requests were very rigid; I wanted a hybrid pick up, with as few add-ons as possible. (It's my experience that the bells and whistles are the first things to break or wear out.) I had been waiting for a hybrid pickup for several years, and was so pleased when the Maverick came out. As I said, I knew what I wanted and I asked Mr. Neustel to produce one, being unaware that demand for Mavericks far exceeded the availability. Though he didn't have an XL on the lot, he was very thorough in explaining the workings of the truck, and helped me reserve the XL which he expected from the factory about a month later. I checked in with Mr. Neustel about five days later and he had managed to locate the exact truck I wanted.

Can't be happy enough!

First, allow me to start off with apologizing to Kendall for ever doubting them. This is the third transaction I've done at a Kendall spanning over two different states. I still have to be honest and say that this one did not begin as pleasant as the first two. However, Kendall came through in the end and put me first before everything else. I can honestly say at this point that I don't know if there is any other dealership I will ever trust more. I am now a very happy customer of theirs and I highly recommend them to anyone in search of a vehicle whether new or used. There is one person who I genuinely feel deserves a commendation, that person is salesman James Kirk. Not only was J. Kirk willing to go above and beyond each time I needed something, I felt like he worked for me and not against me during my purchase. He also displayed great empathy when I came to him with my problems. If you ever have any issues speak to "Kevin" their customer relations manager - great guy. I truly feel lucky to be on this side of the continent knowing if I ever have to buy, sell or trade a car that Kendall is near. I knew there was a reason I was not worried about traveling over 700 miles to buy a vehicle from Kendall Eugene! Great job guys!

Not the Kendall experience I was hoping for!

One of the WORST vehicle purchase experiences I've ever had! First, allow me to start off with the only good. There is only one person who I genuinely feel like he cares (Salesman James Kirk). Not only was J. Kirk willing to go above and beyond each time I needed something, I felt like he worked for me and not against me during my purchase. He also displayed great empathy when I came to him with my problems. Unfortunately, I never heard back from J. Kirk regarding my issues that I will detail below. I am sure this was not J. Kirk's choice, but the decision of management. It is very unfortunate that management at Kendall Ford Eugene appears to be lacking any sort of virtuous character, because every other Kendall I've ever had experiences with were extremely pleasant and helpful. In fact, the last time I purchased a vehicle from Kendall in Idaho, they went way above and beyond to make my wife and I happy. This is one reason I was not worried about traveling over 700 miles to buy a vehicle from Kendall Eugene, as I thought Kendall Eugene would be stand up people as well. I was certainly wrong in this case, and I won't be making that mistake again! I spoke to this dealership for 4 days and after reaching an agreed upon price, and I let them know I was willing to place a down payment to save the vehicle. I told them I would travel out the following week(s) to get the vehicle. Shortly after this statement to the salesman, I received a phone call from a manager and all of a sudden the vehicle was magically going to be sold to another person the next day. I was then told I had to come out immediately or miss out on the deal. I imagine this was a lie in order to get me out there so that they could make a sale quickly. No big deal. I just had to cancel every plan for the very next day, and spend over $340 dollars for a plane ticket (vs. the $80 I could have spent to fly a few days later). That was my choice, however, and I decided to fly out anyway because I wanted this particular vehicle. After inquiring multiple times about the vehicle condition and being told it's in great shape, it's a 2018, I purchased my plane ticket and arrived in Eugene the next day. I had no reason not to believe Kendall Eugene because I thought all Kendall's were about their stand up customer service apparently not! I was picked up at the airport in the vehicle I wanted to purchase, but immediately after seeing the vehicle, my heart sank! I had been duped and lied to about the condition of the vehicle. Upon further inspection of the vehicle, I found this vehicle had paint missing in over 4 areas, rust forming, dents as big as my hand, as well as missing equipment! I wonder if they even inspect their used vehicles at Kendall Eugene? Anyway, I hadn't even stepped foot in the dealership yet, and I was already feeling so defeated! I was lied to by the one auto dealership I actually trusted! I mentioned the issues to the employee who picked me up, but I was brushed off. The manager wasn't much help either and when I inquired about the missing equipment I was told a lie. How do I know it was a lie? Because I've owned three of this particular vehicle before. I had no choice at this point, I was in Euegene, I needed a vehicle to get back home, and it was obvious Kendall Eugene wasn't going to help me at all. What else was I going to do? After spending over 5 hours at the dealership discussing the $100 increase in a already negotiated price, and because the finance employee could not get the paperwork completed properly, I was finally able to get on the road. While on the road, I discovered that the vehicle also had an issue with the rear end suspension and was making noise. The vehicle was also drifting toward the right side of the road, and I imagine the alignment is off. After returning home, I contacted a mobile auto body repairman who quoted hundreds if not thousands of dollars to repair the cosmetic damage to the vehicle. The repairman himself was surprised Kendall would sell a vehicle in this bad of shape. He saw the temporary plates and even asked Kendall sold you this vehicle? Really? Wow, they are usually so good! However, I am sure he is used to the Kendall's here in Idaho which have a good reputation. At the end of everything, I attempted to contact the dealership in regards to the issues above, but I was unable to get a return phone call. I hope this review helps create the negative reputation that Kendall Eugene deserves, and I hope anyone reading this steers clear of this dealership!

Show Me the Money Factor

Horrendous group of salesmen. I walked in at 2pm only a couple days before thanksgiving and they acted like they were too busy to help me in a timely manner. While test drives were fun in with STs, the lack of knowledge and drive to actually inform me on my potential purchase was insulting. When it came to talk numbers, I got made to wait while they "pulled the numbers i requested". They piece mealed the invoice deal and the lease deals to me. Anthony, the guy I was working with presented an insulting offer on a lease deal for a Focus SEL and tried to tell me a 2.25 Money Factor with 42% Residual Value was a great deal. He didn't even seem to know what those numbers meant in all honesty. Just absolutely frustrating to work with these people. I liked my first salesman during the test drive, before he "handed me off" to deal with another "customer". I haven't been to the other Kendall show rooms, but please avoid the Ford people.

This is the 3rd vehicle we have purchased through Martin Neustel, and as always he is trustworthy and we feel confident we are getting a fair deal with him. rip off

If you don't already know that dealers are the most unethical and expensive place for automotive transactions, you should really read on and open your eyes. I had excessive tire wear on my driver side rear tire. At 9:00 am Wednesday I took my F-150 to Kendall because unfortunately I purchased a warranty. I didn't hear anything from Kendall all day, so I called near the end of business hours on Wednesday and was told they would be keeping my truck over night. I called back on Thursday at 2:00 pm to find out what was going on and was told that they did a front end alignment and my truck would be ready in a couple of hours. I picked my truck up and was shown the specs on my alignment and told that it was initially perfectly aligned. So without my consent they charged me for a front end alignment which I did not need, and did not address my rear tire wear issue whatsoever. Also, when I picked up my truck they informed me that my rear breaks where worn out and I should have them worked on. This is information that should have been conveyed to me during the 2 days they had my truck I am moving my daughter to Spokane Washington with a 14' trailer fully loaded today for her first post-college job and thought I would have to do it with worn out breaks because Kendall couldn't pick up the phone to communicate anything on time. I called and stated that I want my money back for the work they did without consent and having nothing to do with the issue I was concerned about, and I still got the run around. I was told that one manager has to talk to a higher up manager to issue my money back for being ripped off for the front end alignment. I am supposedly going to hear back Monday whether or not they are going refund my $69.00 that they screwed me out of. It took them two days to rip me off and now at least two days to make things right. While I am forced to wait for my $69.00 refund I am betting that the con-artists at Kendall Ford have made hundreds of thousands off of unsuspecting customers. I read some reviews online and ended up taking my truck to Glen at GNC, Mohawk Service Center in Springfield because I am tired of the exploitation taking place at Kendall. He had me bring my truck in immediately and quoted me $200 dollars to do the rear break job with machining my rotors because I only have 50,000 miles on the truck. Kendall quoted me $480 if I brought it back to them. Glen called me an hour and a half after I brought it in and said it was done! When I got there he informed me that he measured the thickness of my rotors and that they were a bit thin. As I mentioned before he quoted me $200 dollars and stuck to his quote while throwing in $200 dollars worth of new premium rotors because he is a man of his word and honored his original quote. Glen is an honest craftsmen in his trade with little overhead and the ability and integrity to go above and beyond what is fair. I haven't ever had this quality of experience as a customer in the crooked trade of auto mechanics. Please do yourself, your family, and friends a favor and quit getting ripped off by the giants, Kendall dealership, all other dealerships, and Les Schwab. Take your vehicle to someone that cares and can beat the large rip off companies by at least half!

Honda Accord purchase

Elizabeth A. at Kendall Honda of Eugene was very informative about the car I was interested in. Helped me set up the phone and told me all about the cool tech things is has. Getting to the financing was a little slow, but once in, it went pretty fast. The only thing that was not great was that you had to buy maintenance programs. VW, Toyota, Fiat, they all have 2 or 3 year maintenance programs. ie. free oil change

Amazing service

My husband and I went in looking for a car so I can drive it back and forth to my new job. We were only looking. We were thinking that there was no way we would get approved for a car. Glenn our sales guy showed us an automatic and I was more interested in a manual so he showed us one on the show room floor and we both really like it and again thinking theres no way we would get approved we decided to try any way.we figured the worse he could say is no you didn't get approved.he came back and said yes your approved and then we took it for a test drive .I really like it and so did my husband. We bought the car and the best part was we got a better deal than we thought we would and we were in and out of there on a Friday in about 3 hours. Everyone was so nice.
