Excellent customer service. Agent was never pushy and always helpful. He was wanted us to be satisfied we were finding a car that met our needs. Finance manager sought to ensure we obtained best possible interest rate.

Used Toyota RAV4 2016

by Fowler Toyota on 11/03/2019

We purchased a used 2016 RAV4 from Fowler Toyota. It was a leased vehicle and only owned by one owner. Great shape, good price. Only had one minor problem, it had just one of the smart keys. We will have to buy another one.

Brand New Car

by jeffshore on 10/16/2017

Thanks to the Fowler team for gettign me into my new 18' Camry. I didn't think with my credit that it would be possible for me to own a brand new car but they went above and beyond to help me. I recommend giving them a chance. They treated me with respect even though I"m sure I'm not the easiest customer to help. Thanks again!

intentionally misleading

by xyxyxyxy on 08/12/2015

I never write reviews before on anything, but I feel other customers should be aware of this. During the negotiation with the dealer Joshua Pope, I was led to believe the out the door price would include the sales tax. When I went over the forms more carefully after the purchase, I realized tax was not included. I called the customer service, but haven't got a call back. The whole process feels being taken advantage of. I should have been more careful in dealing with a shrewd dealership. Initially, I told my friends that Fowler Toyota Scion was not as bad as some reviews said, looks like it's even worse.

rude sale manager

by woshiloso on 02/24/2015

If there is negative star, I definitely give it -5 star rating. Just because he finally could not gain my business, the sale manager (J) even insulted me with bad words. He is really really rude and arrogant! I've been to other toyota dealers near OKC. They may not like my offered price, but they always treat you very nice. Fowler toyota always plays the game coming back and forth between the customer and the so-called manager. And this stupid game drain your energy and patience. finally, you either give up yourself and accept their ridiculous price, but they still think you've just been fooled; or you decide not to buy the car from them, and they turn to be very rude and impolite. I know some other dealer agents, they not only want to gin your business, but also want to gain your friendship. Be away from Fowler Toyota sales department!

Buy your next vehicle from Fowler Toyota

by nataliejeanne on 08/12/2012

Buy your next vehicle from Fowler Toyota! Ask for Louis Parris. He is the best salesperson we have met in a long time. He is very patient and helpful. He ensures that you will find the perfect vehicle. He also makes sure that the negotiation process goes smoothly. John Downs, finance manager also took the time to make sure that we were at ease with the finance end of the deal. He took the time to go over the numbers several times until I was happy everything was in order. Make sure to hit the easy button next time you buy a vehicle and ask for Louis and John at Fowler Toyota.

A Fantastic Experience

by okcpatron1258 on 04/19/2010

Toward the end of March, I called Fowler to help me find the exact Highlander my wife was looking for. I had been working with another dealership, but they could not come up with the vehicle. When I called, I spoke with Chris Maritt. Chris was responsive, courteous, professional, and most importantly honest. The car we wanted was sitting on his lot. We had a hassle free discussion, and agreed to a price within about 15 minutes. I had researched the invoice pricing through Consumer Reports, so I knew what I was willing to pay. He had to call me back to finalize, which he did promptly. He made arrangements for me to drive to Norman and pick the car up. The car was exactly what he said and at the exact price he said. It was clean and waiting for us out front when we arrived. I was so impressed. After we purchased the car, we decided to have window tint, auto start, and mud guards installed. Chris made all the arrangements, and my wife said it was a hassle-free environment. Upon completion, the tint was not what was agreed to. Chris immediately handled it. He arranged to have the Highlander picked up, redone, and returned to me at work. I could not believe it. A week later, Chris followed up to see how everything was going. I was stunned. I wrote this post because of all the negative reviews I saw. I had a perfect car buying experience! I would encourage anyone looking for a Toyota to give Fowler a visit or call. It will be the place I buy my next car too, and do yourself a favor . . . ask for Chris.

The "Real" Fowler experience!!

by hatt on 02/10/2010

I purchased a 2010 Highlander from Fowler Toyota on 12-11-09. During the high pressure sales attempt to purchase the extended warranty, finance salesman, John informed me that I would be financed at 4.9%. Advertised internet financing was 2.9%, however, that did not include the model I selected (my fault for not reading the fine print). When I objected, to the rate was lowered to 3.9%. Based on the fact I know and was told by John that my credit rating is 800+, two days later, I decided to finance through my personal bank because of the attempt to deceive me into paying a higher % rate. When informed of my decision, the finance department (John and Finance Manager Mike Ferguson) stalled and failed to provide required paperwork to my bank for 3 days. Fowler finance personnel claimed they faxed it, however, I was on the phone multiple times with my bank representative and told they had not received the information. When the bank finally received information they needed, they cut a check. According to followup with Customer Relations Manager, Henry Siegler, the check did not arrive until 01-07-10. Fowler failed to file title paperwork until 1-11-10, at which time they should have mailed the paperwork I needed to title my vehicle. When I contacted the dealership via e-mail on 1-15-10- they agreed to hand deliver it to me when I made a special trip to the dealership the next day,- ie. they never mailed it. I attempted to address this and numerous other issues (ie: their backhanded methods of trying to make a buck) with New Car Sales Manager Jay Haider (1-16-10) as well as Mr Siegler, and resolve this. However, their idea of honor and respect obviously have different meanings (only one of my complaints was resolved). The sales tactics displayed are indicative of shady salesmanship in which they choose to make money. That said their deliberate failure to provide my bank and myself with required information in a timely fashion is clearly an attempt to force me to finance with the Fowler company and when I did not back down, they intentionally held up the MSO required to title the vehicle. When I spoke with Mr Haider on 01-16-10, his resolution was an offer of three free oil changes. I did not accept. At that time I informed him, the manner in which Fowler chose to do business was not one that would receive any additional patronage or money. I also told Haider to determine what he felt was appropriate to resolve the (numerous)issues and gave him a week to resolve the issues. I have not received any response to my concerns as of this date. Please inform Fowler the matter would have been resolved with an apology letter, however, at this point in the process, there is nothing they can do to change my opinion of their organization. While it is well known that buying a vehicle needs advance preparation (and obviously a male present), the shenanigans played out after this deal are indicators of unfair sales practices that need to cease. I initially believed this was a singular event, but based on Fowler's failure to respond to my complaint, it apparently is an every day sales scam used to put more money into their own pockets. Shame on you Fowler. Whenever any person asks about my vehicle, I will be sure to relay my "Fowler experience" and insist it would be a mistake to buy from Fowler, because they will be as disrespected as I was.

Rude, Horrible Sales Experience

by oklahoma29 on 02/03/2010

I decided to give Fowler a try as I live in Norman and was looking for a 2010 4Runner. I called the night before I went in about pricing and inventory. I went in and told the salesman what I was looking for and my price range. David or Daniel (can't remember) just looked at me like I was stupid. I asked him to find out if auto headlights could be added to the SRX. When he came back after speaking with the "manager" he said we have nothing in your price range and no we cannot add auto headlights. Thanks for coming in. I thought okay did I say something offensive to this guy? He can't even work with me or match the competition. What did I do to make him treat me like this? NOTHING. I was furious. I walked out the door and another salesman said is something wrong? I said yes, you don't want to believe I am able to purchase a car, because I am a 24 year old woman. Maybe that wasn't it, but honestly I didn't really care. Well a few days later Fowler had the guts to call me. It was one of the Internet Managers and asked when I could come back in for a test drive. I was thinking how arrogant could one be. I told him my story and he said "sorry". Wow what a way to earn my business. It is funny how things turn out. I was about to purchase a Toyota a few days before the massive recalls. Now they can't even legally get half of the cars off the lot. I hope Fowler learned their karma lesson. Fowler also lied about their "bottom line". I know as some of my family members have worked in auto industry that dealers do not pay invoice. Do your research about dealers and cars. Edmunds.com and Cars.com will tell you what other people are paying and financing. Do your research and know what is going on in the market. Do not let these kind of dealerships make your feel inferior. Know your stuff! That is what I did and that is why they did not get my money. Btw I wrote this review a week and a half after my experience.
