i just purchased my 5th Mazda 3 and i was so excited. i came in to the dealership and spoke with Kyle . it was a pleasure dealing with Kyle . he was able to answer all my questions and went over every little detail answering questions i didn't even ask .. Mazda i love my MAZDA

Bought a new car in March 2016 from David Lumpkin at this location. David was very helpful and stayed in touch during my several visits while I was deciding what car to purchase. David stayed late after closing on the day of purchase to make sure the financing appointment went well and that I was comfortable with the new car controls. Great person who I would send friends or family to if they wanted to look at a Mazda!

Visiting a car dealership is not always the most pleasant way to spend the day. I found that to be untrue when we went to Montrose Mazda in Kent, Ohio. We we arrived at the dealership, John Smith, promptly offered his assistance. John was patient, thorough and knew his cars. Prior to the test drive, John showed us the car from front end to back, explaining the engine, interior functions, console functions. He really took his time to make sure we understood the CX5. During the test drive, he was wonderful, pointing out various things such as the smooth ride, the ability to corner tightly, etc. Upon return to the showroom, he showed us the maintenance garage, explaining how one goes about getting the car serviced. Overall great experience. John was professional, fun, knowledgeable, patient and thorough. Thank you for a fun day at the dealership.

This was the first time I've purchased a vehicle by myself (without the help of my husband), and John Smith did a great job of helping me find the car that was right for me. He answered my questions and listened carefully to what features I wanted to help me get the best deal possible. My experience with Montrose Mazda of Kent, and specifically with salesman John Smith, was awesome. I highly recommend the dealership and John. When I got to the dealership, John was super laid back and immediately made me feel at ease. He carefully and patiently listened to my needs. There was no high pressure techniques. He just gave me useful info and even rode with me on the test drive. The SUV was in excellent shape and reasonably priced. After the drive, John was very friendly and frank in the negotiation aspect. He was able to get the monthly payments to what I told him I could afford, and I ended up getting an awesome SUV. Even after I signed on the dotted line, he still had the car fully detailed while we I was working out the financing, which was a nice (and unexpected) touch. I feel he went above and beyond by doing this. I drove the SUV home, and the next day he called to make sure everything was going ok. So even after having sold me the car, he still took everything seriously - again going above and beyond. Overall it was a very positive experience and I feel the dealership and John in particular care deeply about the customer experience and they treat their customers with respect and honesty. I would definitely buy my next car from Montrose Mazda of Kent.

DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP!!! I had a few promising phone calls and email exchanges with the sales rep. I had given him the offer of another nearby dealership and he claimed he "could match their offer all day long" and that he "would not want to lose [my] business over a few hundred dollars." He gave me his offer which he clearly stated was after tax on multiple calls. It all sounded great, and I was almost ready to make the trip down to the dealership. However, when I asked him to confirm the number in writing and that it was after tax, he confirmed the number, gave his ability to match the other dealer's number "all day long" again, and intentionally neglected to leave out the post tax part. I asked again for him to confirm it was post tax via email and didn't hear back from him. I called him instead, and when prodded to clarify he claimed that the number was not only BEFORE tax, but that it didn't include the rear camera package I was looking for either! I called him out (but not rudely), and he said he had been with customers all day and doesn't remember the numbers I was claiming. He apologized and said it was a misunderstanding on my part, that I must have mis-heard him, but I told him he said it clearly on several occasions. Then he said he couldn't talk because he was with a customer at that moment. I called back twice, and each time he conveniently claimed to be with a customer. He said he would call back and never did. Obviously I am going with the other dealer and am glad I discovered the true nature of this dealership before making a trip down there! Definitely avoid this place!

I'm usually not one to write reviews but I could not let one go this time. Dan Howard made my experience one I will always remember. He was knowledgeable and never once made us feel pressured. This was a first in ally years of buying cars. I will definitely recommend Dan at Montrose Mazda to anyone buying a car.

I wanted to tell you how impressed I was with my salesman and the amount of professionalism he displayed during the sale of my BMW and after. I have to admit car salesmen get a bad reputation at times but Mr. Starks showed compassion, warmth, and loyalty during and after the sale. He is the perfect example of what your dealership should display with all your customers. He is an asset to have with your organization. Friendly, No Pressure Buying Experience

I usually do not write reviews and such, ESPECIALLY for a Car Dealership, however I feel it should be noted that Rick Hammer, and his staff were warm, friendly, and made my buying experience almost pleasurable. I say almost pleasurable because no one, at least not me, enjoys spending thousands of dollars on something, and at the same time have someone encouraging you to GO FOR IT! My salesperson Demetrius, was easy going, informative, and very helpful in finding the right car for me, and my personal needs. Then later met Rick Hammer the Sales Manager, who personally extended his hand and business card and told me "If there was anything he could do after the purchase to feel free to contact him directly." All the staff at Montrose was friendly, pressure free, and helpful. So with all that being said I would HIGHLY reccommend them to my friends and family should they need a vehicle to purchase. What a refreshing experience to the constant horror stories you hear when purchasing a car. Kudos to Montrose Mazda!! - E. Cleveland

Over the last week I have test driven and crunched the number on every fuel efficient, small sized sedan on the market and I finally purchased a Mazda 3 from Brittany at Montrose Mazda in Kent yesterday. I cannot put into words how amazing everyone there was, they helped me find the exact car I wanted with every option I wanted for the price I could afford. I honestly never expected to leave in the car I got and I am more than thrilled with all the people there, from Brittany on the sales floor to the gentleman in finance, I am absolutely blown away.

Not professional.. The salesman I talked was totally clueless about any of the cars on the lot . It was like it the salesman first day at sales . I would have asked for another salesman but, I figured it would be more time wasted . Meaning most likely no screening process was there in getting real professional sales people. A couple days later my son went there, he stated the same problem. If your looking to buy a car, Don't shop here for car sales or service!

My name is Sean and I came in on a hot summer day I believe it was a Saturday or Friday but he introduced himself and asked for my name offered to come inside and if I wanted a cup of water we talked for a couple of minutes he asked what I was looking for and if there was anything that he could do to help he showed me the cx-5 and he was very knowledgeable and well prepared for someone like me! he seemed pretty honest and a standup guy, ill be back to buy a car soon
