Very rare experience

If it wasn't for Humza, we wouldn't have bought our truck. Absolutely incredible salesman who never gave me a moment of pressure and was so incredibly patient with my 100 questions I probably asked. He brought me a truck to drive that was even better than what I had hoped for, and we bought that truck! Give this guy a raise and keep him - employees like this are nearly impossible to find! Most dealers don't care as long as they make their dollar. I never felt that way and every single person, from Johnny in internet sales, to Humza, to Kevin, and Mr.Ahmed, everyone was absolutely incredible and made this a fun and relaxing experience for my entire family. Thank you all so much. We love our truck and we love this dealer!

Westgate Chrysler Certifies and Sells Damaged Vehicles

Buyer Beware!! I bought a 2020 Pacifica from Westgate in August. A month later the check engine light comes on. I go to get it checked out only to learn that the van has damaged to underneath (oil pan had shifted and leaking, damage to the radiator frame, exhaust, heatshields and a few more things. They certified and sold a damaged vehicle. For a week, we had made numerous calls and left messages - no response. Finally left a negative review on Google and got a response. Called them Monday - they said that it would be investigated and I would get a call back. Well, 4 days later - no response.

They sell used cars with HUGE problems

These people knowingly sold me a car that needed a full transmission replacement. I drove off the lot and error codes started popping up. Well,they refused to talk to me and now I have to spend 8k on a new transmission within a week of owning the car. They are terrible people who don't care about their customers! Warning to everyone else and a reminder to those who were scammed like me to submit a complaint to the NC attorney general! Westgate also likes to trick people by asking for their contact info in these reviews. Well, Google will take the reviews down if you provide that info. Westgate knows exactly who all these angry customers are and are being cheeky with their responses pretending to care.

Very rare experience

Worst Car Buying Experience Ever

Really disappointed with my experience at Westgate Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram-Raleigh NC location. I had a scheduled appointment today at 12 noon to take a look at a used 2021 Jeep Compass. When me and my pregnant wife arrive we see they had pulled the vehicle up to the front of Jeep store. The sales rep Faraq greeted me and my wife letting us know the SUV we were interested in was this one at the front of the store. Me and my wife inspect the Jeep Compass finding it was not quite as advertised online. The vehicle had many scratches on almost every body panel and the vehicle clearly had not been detailed either as they’re were fresh stains on the back seat. I discuss the issues with the vehicle with Faraq who assures me most of the issues can be resolved by their detailing team. I tell Faraq we’re interested in test driving the vehicle but would like to discuss vehicle pricing since it’s not as advertised online. Faraq tells me he will bring my concerns to the sales manager Matt and grab the keys to the vehicle so we can test drive it. A few minutes later and the sales manager Matt comes out of the office to meet me. The sales manager Matt addresses the vehicle concerns I have and let’s me know he will see what he can do on pricing. He also ask if I was doing a trade in. I informed I was doing a trade in and I showed him two trade offers I had on the vehicle. On Westgates website it says they will beat the trade offer you have by $500. I bring this up to Matt and he try’s to say that all depends on your vehicle condition. I advised him that is not what is advertised on their website and show him the website fine print. Matt just nods his head and tells me our sales rep would be right out with the keys so we could test drive the Jeep Compass. About 20-25 min go by and we’re still waiting for our sales rep to come out. Finally Faraq comes out to let us know they just sold the vehicle we were about to test drive. I confront Faraq about the situation and request to speak with the manager. Faraq goes to notify the manager that I want to speak with him. Another 20 min go by. At this point I have to request again to speak with the manager. 10 min go by and finally the sales manager Matt comes out. Matt informs me that they sold the vehicle we we’re just going to test drive. I let Matt know that it was bad business and unethical for them to have us drive 30 minutes to their dealership for a scheduled appointment to see this vehicle and right when we’re about to test drive it they sell it to another person who didn’t even have an appointment to see it. I also told him that it was interesting that they quickly sold the vehicle right after I discussed the trade value of my car with him and the deal on their website about beating a trade offer by $500. It was clear they didn’t want to honor the website agreement. Matt handed me back the key to my vehicle and showed me the exit door. He would not acknowledge any issues I brought up or confronted him about. I am very disappointed in the shady and unethical business dealings at the Westgate Raleigh location. If you question them on pricing or try to get them to honor the trade agreement they advertise online they will show you the door letting you know they can’t do business with you. I hope no one else has to go through this experience. Avoid making the mistake of trying to buy a car here!

We were looking for a Toyota Rav4 for my wife and we did find one at Westgate. The young man Hazeem did find the car we were looking for at a reasonable price and the entire process was very smooth. We will go back in future to find a car for me.

Bought a new Jeep Grand wagoneer from the brier creek location in 22 and bought 2 used car from the Rolls Royce dealership for my wife and son and had amazing experiences at both.

Have been getting my new Jeep serviced at westgate since I purchased it new. Every time an oil change is due, I feel like I get red carpet treatment. Appointments have always been punctual, they always offer a courtesy ride and I haven’t had any question left unanswered. 5 star!

Sold Wrecked Vehicle as CPO

BUYER BEWARE—this dealership sold me a Grand Cherokee with concealed FRAME DAMAGE under the guise of a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle on 02/22. This was confirmed to me by none other than their OWN body shop. Took a week for the owner to agree that my money was to be refunded (03/10). Sales manager had to cut the check, who gave me the run around for a week, then quit/was fired (?). On 03/24, I am told that now, the owner has to write the check, but he is out of town. Today, 03/28, he wants to “meet” with me. About what? There is nothing to discuss. They promised a refund. I would take your business elsewhere. They owe me $38,000 for a vehicle I have not possession of since 03/03. I am 24 and this was my first car buying experience. Now, I’ve got two car loans and a weight on my shoulders. What I don’t have is the $13,000 cash I used for a down payment.

TRACKERS ON CAR

*DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP* they put trackers on your car that will mess with mechanics being able to communicate with the ecu, and they do not tell you about it. My boyfriend bought a car from them and within driving it 300 miles it had 5 check engine codes. It took 3 days for someone to answer us, and they wanted to talk over text. We asked to speak to the manager multiple times but never ever got one call back. They will not tell you everything wrong with the car. Go anywhere else but here.

In the holiday spirit

Even though this last weekend saw the weather turn rainy and cold, I had a thoroughly enjoyable and efficient experience at Westgate. Trading in my 2007 Toyota, I thought, would be problematic but it totally wasn’t. The Jeep Grand Cherokee L I wanted was available and I was able to test drive and check it out and then signing all the paperwork was a breeze. It was a great early Christmas present for myself and couldn’t be more satisfied.

Absolute Trash

Do not get a car from here. Absolute horrible experience with multiple people. Blatant lies and false promises. Burning and turning vehicles: I was excited to finance a car for $20k, and 2 days later the vehicle broke down, got towed, without a car for 3 days. Afterwards, had to fix an AC actuator, shocks,brakes,rotors,and more. All in all spent roughly $2500. Oh and 1 week later, rear tire blew out and that was another $350, and 3 hours waiting at the shop. All while I still til this day have 30 day tags on the vehicle. Horrible experience, dishonest and denied claims, not the way to do business.

Sold Reset Check Engine Light

Westgate Chrysler sold me a vehicle that had it's check engine light reset to hide issues 244 miles before I purchased it from them. 1 week after purchase it overheated and needed a $3k+ repair. The warranty company that Westgate Chrysler sold me the warranty from investigated for 3 weeks and denied my claim. They found the vehicles check engine light was reset 244 miles before my purchase and the same code reappeared needing fixed. Westgate Chrysler management has refused to talk to me, but told their salesperson to tell me it was sold "as is" and they don't have to stand behind the used cars they sell because NC doesn't have a lemon law for used cars. They were proud to say it's not their problem once you buy from them.

Wrecked my truck when there for Recall work

Took my truck in for recall work and one of their employees ran into the left side of the bed. The quarter is dented, the fender flair is destroyed and don’t know what damage is not readily visible. They gave me no loaner vehicle, said would repair the damage and that’s it. No compensation for my time, no truck to use while it is getting fixed, basically the GM’s position was that this was no worse than a parking lot door ding and so that I should just accept that they are going to do the absolute minimum to fix the situation. This truck is a 2020 3500 Laramie with 1691 miles on it and was there for a recall. They wrecked what was essentially a new vehicle when it HAD to be there for the recall work and I am just supposed to live with this result ? They don’t even deserve 1 star.

Don’t Buy Anything!!

I bought a used Jeep Wrangler from these people. The front end shook all the way home. Tires had not been rotated in god knows when. I had to get new rear brakes and rotors the very next day. Tire shop told me it was dangerous, they shouldn’t have let me drive it home like that. 2 days later, check engine light comes on. They didn’t check this thing out at all. Multi Point Inspection my ass!

Inmates running the show.

I bought a vehicle from the dealer. I purchased the extended warranty and GAP insurance at the time. 5 months later I am ready to change careers and need to sell the vehicle. I have tried to cancel the warranty and insurance. It can only be done throught the dealer. I have called, left messages for 5 straight days. They receptionist recognizes my phone number as I'm sure the finance department also does. One time I gave a fake name and my call was then answered by a man in finance. He picked up the phone and said " I don't give [non-permissible content removed], I'm not calling him" Then he hung up. He wanted me to know that he was in charge and he was not going to call me or cancel the policies. I hope the owner reads this and immediately fires the man who is running the finance dept. I don't expect much from the general manager to correct this behavior, He obviously has let the employees take over the owners business.
