Attentive and Dedicated- Byron Tyson

This is my 5th Toyota purchase.( 4th one from this dealership; 3rd one from Byron Tyson). I bought a 2019 RAV 4 XLE Premium last month. Color is Lunar Rock. My salesperson came in on his day off to ensure that l had a great buying experience. When l drove on the lot, I knew l wanted the new RAV 4, but l wasn't sure of the color. My daughter said, " Mom, have a different experience. All of your vehicles have been Black..." My salesperson said, "How about that one over there?" Test drove it, loved it, got it. My salesperson is Byron Tyson. He always seems to know the vehicle l'm going to drive home.

Jerome Cox is the MAN!

My daughter and I were looking for a car for her. We had gone everywhere but no one could compare to the customer service Jerome provided. My daughter fell in love with the Camry XSE and Jerome jumped in driver side explained everything from the left to the right. He drove it first showing her all the features then pulled over and said your turn lets have some fun. His personality, his patience, his willingness to get us the best deal was a breathe of fresh air. He said he has been with Toyota for 12 years and you could tell because he was a pro. Not only was Jerome amazing but the entire staff at Toyota in Greenville was awesome too. DJ came over and spoke with my daughter and congratulated her on buying her first car. We met Dana in customer care department who wanted to make sure all our needs or questions had been answered. The guys in the back that you don't get to see who cleaned the car up before she drove it off the lot was great too. If you are looking for a vehicle or want the experience that will have you leaving with a smile from ear to ear go to Toyota in Greenville. Thank you for a memorable and fun experience.

I love my new tacoma!

I went into Greenville Toyota with a very specific vehicle in mind: 4wd Tacoma, manual transmission. They're hard to find. I sat down with Ed and we discussed the options, and they had my truck there in 3 hours. They didn't try to change my mind or sell me something they had on the lot, they listened, and they found the truck I wanted. The price they gave me for my old Tacoma was fair, and the deal was smooth. I definitely recommend them.

You will get about a $1 for your trade if Sonny has anything to do with it, but if Sonny has the vehicle him want a bar of gold for it, please watch out for the used car manager Sonny don't turn your back he will take your wallet

Best sales experience.

My husband and I came in early morning, we were greeted at the door by Ed, our salesman. Within a few minutes we were test driving our vehicle. With the help of Sonny we sat down and agreed on a price and drove our 4Runner home same day. Everything was fast and easy. This is my second purchase from this dealership and won't be my last. Amazing service!!

In searching for a second car, my husband wanted to try out Greenville Toyota. While I did not have very much faith in car dealerships, we applied for financing. We were contacted by Jerome. He asked what car we were looking for. Met with him on Thursday evening to go on a test drive and see what he had to say. Friday afternoon, I drove home my very first brand new car with only 5 miles on it. Disappointed at first that they probably did not have the blue camry se that I wanted, he immediately went to work for me and found one om the lot. Jerome really made this the smoothest sale ever! I hassled him more about the car than he did me. Jerome is so professional and down right straight to the point. Stering, the sales manager who we signed our paperwork was so thorough and great to work with. If anyone is looking for a car, I definitely recommend coming to see these guys! Thank you Jerome for getting me the perfect car for me!

Exceptional!

We just purchased a 2017 Toyota 4Runner TRD from Barry Grimes. Barry is one of the best salespersons we have worked with. He was extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I strongly recommend him. We were also very impressed with Greenville Toyota. We got a great price on our new 4Runner and an extremely fair amount on our trade. This is our 3rd Toyota. Not happy

I went to the dealership looking for a pickup. I told the salesman exactly what I was looking for and what I needed it to do.(my son is handicapped) I drove the Tacoma and was impressed with the vehicle. I had a 14'Ford fusion as a trade. It had 32k, immaculate condition and all service records. The sales manager came over and spoke with me. I told him that I needed running boards for my son. He kept saying that he wouldn't do that and he would only give me 4k less than what was owed. When questioned why he was cheating me out of my trade, he kept saying "I can't do that" mentioning if he gave more I would not be able to afford the truck. I ended up signing for a vehicle that doesn't do what I wanted and paying more than I should have.

UNBELIEVABLE

We went here 3 1/2 weeks ago and signed paperwork to purchase a new Platinum vehicle. They did not have what we wanted in stock but could tag one that would be in about 2 weeks. We received a call two weeks later and said it would be another 8-10 days. We said ok and were called 6 days later and told it had come in. They wanted us to pick it up that day so we cancelled our dinner plans and drove the 100 mile round trip to pick it up. When we were taken back to see it they showed us our new Limited and not Platinum Highlander. I immediately said that is not what we wanted and they tried to tell me it was. About 30 minutes later after he showed me the original deal I signed and I told him it was $2000 more in the base price than the sticker on the one that came in he was able to find the original paper work from our first visit.Low and behold I was right. He apologized and tried to talk us into buy the Limited that did not have the equipment that I wanted or the one that they did have that was the wrong color. Finally when he saw I would not purchase what he had he promised to find us the right one and would call us by 10 the next morning. The Manager who ordered the wrong car was not there so they used that for an excuse on why the wrong one was ordered. I had not heard from them by 11:30 the next day so I called him back and he said they could not find what we wanted. I told them there were 3 in Wilmington and he said one was being driven by the owner's wife but they would find where the other two were and call me right back. Two hours later no call back so I texted the salesman and told him we found where one would be available on 09/20 but I was concerned about putting more miles on my trade in. The first visit they said they would go ahead and take my car and give me something to drive but decided to just let me keep mine until the new one came in. He finally texted me back and said they could have the new one in 13 days but that the 2017's would be out so mine would be worth $2000 less. It was not our mistake but theirs and I told him it was not fair to penalize us for their mistake. My husband had said when we left after the wrong SUV came in that we would never hear from them again. It looks like they changed their mind about the original deal after we signed the agreement and left a deposit so they tagged the wrong car so they could try to get us to pay for a Limited at the Platinum price. I believe in the car business this is called "bait and switch" so beware if you ever want to do business with the dealership. I also learned that the 2017 would not be hitting the dealer's showroom until mid October. Funny how my car became a year older in 3 weeks but their 2016 would not be a year older when the 2017 came in???? We found our vehicle and are thrilled with the car and the deal which ended up being even better than their original one that they would not honor because THEY made a mistake. My advice-beware of this dealership!!!

Amazing experience

My husband was in an accident and the car was a complete loss, we were devastated from the accident and extremely frustrated with dealing with insurance. Ian Miller explained everything to us, helped us get a new car and made the dreaded process so enjoyable! In fact, I just went back up there and purchased a new vehicle. The staff from the time we walked in until we drove away were absolutely professional, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. We have 3 children almost to driving age and will definitely be going to Ian/Greenville Toyota for their cars! I would highly recommend Greenville Toyota (especially Ian Miller) for anyone in the market for buying a new or used vehicle!

Poor Customer Service

I live in Greenville and wanted to purchase in Greenville. I started out dealing with Todd B, then was handed off to Kevin B. I was told the exact car with the options I wanted was on the lot, then , received a text stating "do not have that one anymore", no phone call, no email, no contact , no attempt to find me a car. It was like they were too busy to try to sell me a car. I didn't want to but, I went to Goldsboro . I received a great deal AND was treated like a customer. I'm sorry, but I was not going to beg Greenville Toyota to sell me a car. Their loss, I guess they don't need my business !
