Very Very unhappy customer

First of all, I NEVER write a review. But I feel like we have been done wrong by Kia and feel something needs to be done about it. We purchased a Used Kia end of 2016 from a dealership in Burlington NC. We purchased every possible warranty that could be purchased with this vehicle. Fully loaded with turbo, so it had all the bells & whistles. with under 60,000 miles. On July 4th, 2017 my husband was driving our 2012 Kia Optima from Chapel Hill NC to Mebane NC. He was on the way to meet us for fireworks that evening. While he was driving on a 4 lane highway in the very far left lane, there was loud pop in the engine and the car shut off. Very busy time of day, Thankfully he was able to guide the car over 4 lanes and stop on the side of the highway without getting in a wreck. He sat there for at least 1 1/2 to 2 hours on a super HOT day waiting to be towed back to the dealership where we purchased the car from. The dealership assumed it was the starter, but once that was replaced, they realized the engine was seized and we would have to have it towed to a Kia dealership. Once at the Kia dealership, they would not cover towing because our mileage was now a little over 60,000 miles, barely, but over. They informed us the vehicle was included in the recall so they would have to replace the engine and it would be about 3 weeks. As far as the towing, it was there faulty engine that made us be towed in the first place, they should have covered that bill!!!! 1st mistake!! Then they gave us a much smaller rental car. 5 weeks later, our vehicle was done. 2nd Mistake was it took 2 weeks longer than we were told!!! We drove the vehicle home. The next morning the car would NOT start. That afternoon it started. and this has gone on for a long time now. Not knowing when it will start. We did everything we were told. Replaced the batteries in the key pods, Tried to reprogram the key pods, etc. NOTHING!! We then took it to the dealership we purchased it from and they informed us that the car was not recognizing our keys so we would have to take it BACK to Kia. We then finally get it back to Kia on a Thursday evening. Monday evening they call and say the car was ready. Supposedly the ignition wire had vibrated loose. 3rd mistake, No parts were purchased, but we were responsible for labor which would be $153.00. We asked if that was unhooked during installation of the new engine and was told by the guy that he was not a mechanic so he wasn't sure. REALLY??? So we are STILL paying for KIAs negligence!!!! We brought our car home Tuesday and praying all the problems were fixed. I got up this morning to take my son to school and my KIA will NOT START AGAIN!!!!!! We both work full time jobs! This is also causing issues with work, transporting kids, and just having a reliable way to get around. I will NEVER purchase another KIA, and I will NEVER recommend that anyone else does either. You should stand behind your vehicles!!!! We live paycheck to paycheck and this has hurt us financially and nobody at Kia cares. We are very dissatisfied and angry at this point!!
