Not happy

Went to Sun as a repeat customer for a new Acadia. They did not have the options I wanted. Needed a trailer hitch for our boat. The sales rep looked online locally for one but was unable to locate the vehicle even tho I knew there were several in Smithtown. Said I could add a trailer hitch to any vehicle. So I went to King O'Rourke to purchase a new Acadia with the trailer package!

Sleazey Sales Practice

Today I visited Sun GMC to check out an ad I saw posted on 12/30 for a Sierra Denali for a 399 Lease, It sounded like a great deal so I went to check it out as I am in the market for one. When I arrived all the sales staff were assisting other customers and the man said he would be free in 15 minutes, I than asked if I could look at the Sierra's on the lot and he said sure. I went out back and found several such trucks in the lot, a red one had a "sold sign on it and I noted it was the stock number in the newspaper add. We went back in and I asked the salesman about the truck in the add, and he said it was sold, i informed him that there were other denali's on the lot, but he said only one was that price, all others would be a lot more too lease. So I said thank you and left, now this probably is legal, but to run a good business, you need to have a good reputation in fact reputation is everything as we can agree on this, but I have to tell you I feel this is a very sleazey business practice, and everyone I mentioned it to, felt the same. I know you probably won't answer this letter as I see you answer all the positive ones, but I think its a shame that car dealers especially American ones are still doing business this way Dan Ladislaw [contact information removed]

Incredible Experience

Can say that without a doubt this was the easiest new car transaction I have ever had the pleasure of completing all due to the efforts of our Internet salesman Daniel Giordano. Dan quoted us a price that not only beat the competition but didn't change when it came time to close the deal. Everything was done electronically and all I had to do was come in with the balance and drive away my beautiful new Acadia Denali. Sun has won the business of my family and friends as long as Dan is there.

It is always a good experience at Sun. I have always been treated well. If not I would not have bought my last four cars there. Joseph Gillespie has been the salesman on all four vehicles and I'll be back in February when my lease ends for my fifth.

My experience at Sun was top notch. My salesman was Rocki who was informative, friendly, honest and tremendously helpful. The manager Kevin became part of the process and his sincerity and integrity will be remembered. I will keep going back and advise you to also make your first and only dealership because it will become a partnership you will enjoy for the rest of your life.

Awesome experience

My husband and I have had horrible experiences with car dealerships in the past. With that said, we went to Sun GMC expecting the same treatment we had received in the past....but we were greatly mistaken. From the moment Rob S. shook our hands until the actual pick up of our GMC Terrain SLT, it was seamless. We were not there for hours, we were there as long as we wanted to be there. I picked up my SUV, and the transaction was completed in 45 minutes. We were not pressured ever by Rob, and not even by the Sales Manager Joe. Rob was beyond patient, he answered every question we had. He gave us his personal cell so in case we had questions when we left, we could call or text him. He had even told me when I picked up my Terrain, "you have my cell if you have any questions or problems with anything, call me". We can honestly say we were blown away with the customer service and the AWESOME experience we had. I would recommend him and Sun GMC to my family, friends and anyone looking for a vehicle. We really can't thank Rob enough.

Wonderful experience

The staff at SUN is wonderful. Our salesman was Ricardo. I thought I went in knowing exactly what I wanted. Ricardo looked at my list and made a few wonderful suggestions. I am very glad he did as he was right about me using those options a lot. There was no pressure at any time. Ricardo got us a decent financing package and made sure we got the active rebates. This is the second car we bought from SUN. We will be back

My experience with Sun Buick GMC was a great one it started with my salesman Dann Giordano who never pressured me who made me feel comfortable right from the get go his knowledge of the GMC Sierra was amazing and made it very easy for me to make the decision that the GMC Sierra was the truck for me

The dealership was clean, modern, and welcoming. The manager, Kevin, was kind and caring. Tony, the salesman that I worked with made the process of leasing my new car smooth and enjoyable. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. While he worked with me to make the sale, he was never pushy. I would definitely recommend him friends and family.
