Premier service and selection

Made appointment to test drive car and dealer texted to confirm appointment. I arrived and was greeted- sales person (Nate) was professional and didn't apply pressure to close deal. Best lease purchase I have had in a long time

3 hour oil changes

I had to take in for warranty item previously and scheduled with oil change, they had vehicle 4 hours before they called and said they sold the part that was ordered for me. So they would have to recorder and reschedule, I said I’d do at next oil change since I use my truck for work and can’t afford to take time off. I mean the payment is $750, so I have to hustle. I then took back vehicle at next oil change and waited at dealer for it, thinking tailgate part is an easy 15-30 minute job, over 3.5 hours again and for $175 oil change they didn’t fill my def fluid. I will NEVER again use them for service. I have always used Joe Basil and been more than satisfied, but Robert Basil service is too slow. I’ll try west here next. They had their chance.

[non-permissible content removed] mauled my headliner with my recall!!

Had to take my GMC Sierra 4x4 in for the airbag recall and driver side mirror wasn't heating up like the passenger side. Mind you my mechanic specializes in working on Cadillacs but works on all GM's. Vehicles are astronomically High nowadays with what's happened with us all. I take pride in my vehicle like it's a Cadillac oh, you can eat off of my floor. I cannot believe a mechanic that works on a Cadillac can't even wash their hands when they're taking the headliner down to put the recall airbag in. My headliner is a light gray so needless to say you could imagine with all of his greasy paw prints all over it. My vehicles in excellent shape with very low mileage probably close to 40 Grand it's worth and it was trashed out by them. I just don't understand anyone with common sense that's working on a nice vehicle inside the vehicle not the engine didn't wash their freaking hands. I was in tears and had to come home and clean that for an hour and a half 30% of his paw prints would still not come out. Not fair at all they should have paid for my interior to be cleaned or I should have been reimbursed somehow. And of course a year-and-a-half ago I buy an extended warranty from them and they tell me that the driver side mirror isn't covered. They're all cutthroat and hurry to get you in to buy an expensive vehicle but doesn't take the time when it comes to working on them. This is not the first time this has happened here I'm totally done with them and don't recommend them to anyone. On top of it all they tell me to have it there at 9:00 a.m. they'll have it done by noon they never called me till 4:00 p.m. because my mechanic was too busy working on someone's engine getting greasy hands. I don't understand why we have to make an appointment if it's not done when they tell you or take it when they tell you. Lousy dealership with Moody people.😠

Robert basil Cadillac

I bought my cadilac from Robert basil two years ago and am very happy with my car. I only bring it back to them for the service checks and oil changes. Their service department it TOP notch! They always go the extra mile for you and they always take the time to wash it for me. Ashley the service coordinator goes above and beyond and always returns my texts immediately. And is very warm and friendly!

Good used car buying experience

I purchased a very low mileage 2008 Mazda Miata from Basil Buick GMC. My sales person Gavin was very accommodating. After a test drive I arranged to have it looked over by a nearby Mazda dealer, due to the age of the car. The sales process was easy, without pressure. It was delivered on time and beautifully finished. I would recommend Basil for new or used car sales.

Just Great Deals...NOT!

I attempted to make a simple $400.00 claim against the Basil "free engines for life warranty". The claim was denied because of a missed tire rotation. The "free engines for life" warranty, which is backed by National Auto Care, Westerville, Ohio, requires the vehicle owner to have all oil changes and tire rotations performed by the dealer. Every oil change and tire rotation was performed by Robert Basil Cadillac since the day the vehicle was purchased in 2011. Because Robert Basil Cadillac failed to rotate the tires on one occasion, National Auto Care denied the claim for the engine repair. What does a tire rotation have to do with the operation of the engine? Why did the dealer fail to rotate the tires during the scheduled oil change? I used to be a loyal Basil customer, but not anymore. I purchased a Cadillac and a Lincoln from the Basil family of dealerships and I am now having both of these vehicles serviced by a local repair center due to my complete disappointment with the Robert Basil service team and their insurance company, National Auto Care.
