Customer Reviews of Colandrea Buick GMC
Overall Good experience
by 03/26/2024
onRecently purchased a new 2500HD Truck from Colandrea as my last truck was a total loss. They had the truck I was looking for. The experience was pleasant and smooth. My only complain would be it took longer than it should have. Time is valuable.

Glad I finally switched to a GMC
by 02/07/2023
onDrove another brand for years. Was alway disappointed with the service no matter what state I lived in. Finally quit using the service department at their dealerships out of frustration. When I made the switch, I had researched several brands of trucks. What stuck out and made me buy from Colandrea (and then use their service dept) was the high reviews they got, word of mouth from people I talked to driving a Colandrea vehicle, the fact they are family owned, and everyone there seemed to enjoy being there.

poor service
by 11/19/2013
onI had them work on my truck. They wouldn't call the warranty company until I authorize over $200 dollars in diagnostics. Then they replaced a part that didn't fix the problem. I didn't even make it 5 miles before it came back. Still charged me for the parts and labor for the work that didnt fix the problem. Very shady buyer beware.

Run - They do not stand behind their work

onAvoid Coleandra Buick in Newburgh at all costs! The service department will try to charge you for services that should already be included in a repair and convince you that you need things done that are not necessary. It's too coincidental that two components that they touched when they serviced my truck are malfunctioning. They will not take responsibility and are hiding behind every excuse they can find. Do not service your vehicle here. Chevy GMC needs to learn to keep the dealerships with high customer service ratings not just the ones with a bigger bottom line! I am super disappointed in them.

Tire Service
by 03/11/2010
onMarch 11, 2009, I bring my car to Colandrea Buick GMC where I bought the car to get 2 new tires put on. After waiting for my car for 2 hours they tell me my car is ready to go. As I am pulling out of the lot I thought I hear a noise but thought nothing of it. I proceeded to turn out of their driveway onto a four lane highway and hear a bump sound. As I go to turn the car around to bring it back, I look in my rearview mirror to see my back passenger tire fly off the back of my car. I am able to get it back into their driveway to find my bumper falling off and look to see my tire in the middle of the same four lane highway. I call them to tell them what happened from my cell phone and the service manager tells me don't worry we're going to take care of EVERYTHING! They send a "technician" down to my car to put the tire back on and then bring it back in to the service bay to fix the bumper. They put the bumper back on but it has dents and scrapes that they say they will fix it. By the way the taking care of everything was them offering me $150 back in service bucks as part of their owner loyalty program. As if I would take my car back to them for service EVER agiain. Why would I when they can't even do something simple as putting the lug nuts back on a car after changing the tires? While I ended up getting a full refund, I now have to worry about frame and rim and other alignment issues with the car. I wouldn't recommend or go back to them for service!
