Pushy and not so helpful !

by Cknights1989 on 11/05/2015

Bought a car from this dealer back in 2010! I went in looking to purchase a SUV new or used. I will admit that with my credit ( Which was not all bad) and my co-signer, i did not qualify for the New SUV that i had hoped for. I asked the sales man if there where any used vehicles that i may qualify for. He basically kept changing the subject every time refused to sell m what I wanted and talked me into a smaller newer car, At the time i just went with it because i was young and naive and really needed a car, and according to him no one would be able to really help me out. Now i am trying to get rid of this car because it no longer meets the need of my family. I wish i had gone to a different dealer that catered more to my needs rather than their own pockets. After talking to other dealer after the fact i know now i got rail-roaded into buying this car when i deffinately could have gotten what i needed!

Sales Mgr. Lacking Integrity

by whd13b on 09/07/2013

Purchasing the vehicle was exhausting as expected. Hours and hours to from point A to Z. Yevgeniy, sales associate, was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and made the stress of purchasing a new vehicle a little more tolerable. I would highly recommend him. Finance on the other hand was another story. Lynda in the finance department quoted me a rate of 3.75 the day I left a deposit, which then increased to 4.25 the day of signing. Her explanation? "oh, no..I couldn't get you approved for that rate" as she continued to fill out the documents as if no big deal. Did I not deserve at least enough respect to be notified of this at the time she learned of this "minor" change in our agreement? I certainly think so. Common "fast one" pulled on me. Next, she continually tries to push the extended warranty on me, actually giving me the wrong information by telling me my navigation/stereo system is only covered up to three years and not the full 10/100,000 warranty. I politely declined (three times) later to learn from reading my warranty manual that is is in fact covered for the whole length of the warranty. Shame on her. Lastly, I've already brought my vehicle in for an issue I'm having with the steering constantly pulling to the left and not driving straight, and after reading on the internet the many consumer complaints on this same issue (ARFC.org) as well as KIA's unwillingness to handle it, I called and spoke with Scott, the service manager, who had no knowledge of this issue. We had a lengthy conversation and it ended that he was going research this further and get back to me. No follow up occurred, and after three weeks, I contacted him again, got his voice mail, and again, no follow up or return call. Three days later, today, I called and asked for him and I was told he stepped out and they're not sure if he is returning. A gentlemen named David then called me back and told me they have an adviser from Kia coming to the facility in a few weeks to meet with me and test drive my car and that they will follow up in a few days with the exact date. Interesting. I will follow up with the details and until the issue is resolved, if it does in fact get resolved, I have to not recommend this dealership. I'm giving it two stars simply for professional experience I had with Yevgeniy, my salesman.
