Very Pleasant Purchase Experience

We purchased a 2015 Subaru Outback Curry Subaru. My salesman Marc Debenedictis was a pleasure to deal with. I hate negotiating on price for a new car. Marc made this painless and we quickly reached an agreement on an acceptable price. Since the 2015 Outback is currently in short supply, we had to order one and wait about 9 weeks for delivery. Marc kept us informed as to the status of our order at every step. The delivery process was also pleasant. There were no supprises on payment and Marc patiently explained all features or the new vehicle and we were on our way pretty quickly

You're not supposed to ask a magician how he does it, so I suppose you shouldn't ask Reid F how he continually offers the best deal and the best car buying experience ever. I just completed my 4th purchase with Reid, and I couldn't be happier. Buy with confidence with this guy. It doesn't get any better----ANYWHERE!

Ask for Gabriel in Sales

I can only speak from my own experience. I bought a car here from Gabriel in Sales and I could have been more pleased with his Service. If every Sales Consultant was like him, there would be no such thing as a bad stereotype about car salesmen. Reading all of these other bad reviews is understandable because not everyone always has a pleasant experience buying a car. But then again, not everyone gets directed to Gabriel when they call. I trust that anyone who calls and asks for him will be nothing but completely satisfied with his partnership, and the only way you could be dissatisfied is if something happened that was out of his control. Call and ask for Gabriel. I would tell anyone buying a Subaru to buy one from him.

Do not go to this dealer

I called this dealer and they told me they could not get an Impreza for several weeks. I went to another Subaru dealer in Conn and drove out in a 2013 Impreza in two days.

UNBELIEVEABLE

On Feb. 1st, I ordered a new car from Curry. Factory ordered Impreza, with an estimated wait of 6-8 weeks. After 8 weeks, I was told by Susan, my saleswoman, that Wayne, the sales manager had " accidentally " ordered the wrong car, and they would need to order it again. Though shocked and disappointed, I agreed to wait, and was told there would be " compensation". When pushed to give a firm answer on just exactly what that meant, I was told they were unable to give me a firm answer until they had the invoice in hand, but rest assured, compensation will come. After 8 more weeks of waiting, I began calling regularly inquiring about the status of my car. Wayne, the sales manager, hung up on me after I yelled at him, and has since refused to take my calls, or return messages. I did manage to speak with someone 2 weeks ago, who told me my $1000 cash deposit would be returned to me, as they were unable to tell me IF or when my car would arrive. It's been two weeks since they " sent the check". It's still not here. I am not local to the dealership, or I'd walk in for my refund. Basically, this has been the worst experience possible in attempting to purchase a new car. Anyone [non-permissible content removed] had best shop elsewhere.

Do not purchase a car from this dealer

In my fifty years on this planet never have I been so mistreated by a sales manager. In short the deal was struck, cash was in hand but the car nor sales person was no where to be found. I asked the management staff to call the sales person on his cell phone which for some reason affronted them. The sales management team consulted, the sales manager stepped within 6 inches of my person, I told him to back off. The sales manager told the finance manager to rip up the contract, refund the deposit and not take my bank check for full payment. Needless to say we are pursuing this with Subaru of America as there is never a call for such behavior. Save yourself some time and go somewhere else, anything is better than the experience you will receive at this establishment. By the way it took us only one day to find another of our friends that had a similar experience and simply walked away from the dealership. Good luck to you.

Worst car dealer experience ever

It was like the days before internet when dealers could charge you whatever they wanted. After I told him I was ready to buy today, and showed him the Edmunds TMV he wouldn't budge off of $2000.00 above that. I walked out and salesman ran after me and said that he made a mistake, his manager told him to offer a discount off of invoice price not MSRP as he was doing. So while he finally did offer me a good price I didn't trust them to honestly do financing or stand behind the car.
