The Service Department ordered the fuel filter specific to the 1992 Thunderbird Sport V8. It arrived as promised and the Technicians replaced it in less than two hours.

While traveling in the Mexico with my family and RV, my oil change light came on. I located a Ford dealer Vision Ford in Alamogordo and went to them for service. I requested an oil change and any other services needed to be performed. After evaluating the vehicle, the service advisor Chris, advised me that I needed a new air cleaner and filter. For the additional items and asked if anything else was needed. I was told that the battery brakes and tires are OK. The service was completed and we continued on our trip. Less than 1000 miles later I heard a terrible grinding noise coming from the right front wheel. A close examination revealed that the brake rotor was deeply gouged and unusable. I went to The Ford dealer in page Arizona and was told that both brake pads were well beyond safe usable life. They completed the repairs including the replacement of the rotors. Rotor replacement would have been unnecessary vision ford had replace the brake pads when the oil change was done. I called the service manager Tomas, at Vision Ford several times and did not receive a return phone call. I also called the general manager and did not receive a phone call. In summary, I had two problems with this dealership. One they did not do the inspection even though the envoy said they did and the brakes were good. Two they did not return several phone calls with messages to both the service manager and the sales manager. I would avoid this dealer at all cool I had two problems with this dealership. I was referred to this dealership by a coworker following a negative experience at the Las Cruces Ford Dealership. My co-worker described his experience. I looked online at the inventory at Vision Ford and took a trip to look at the vehicles on Sunday - even though they were closed - and was able to find one that I liked. My co-worker put me in touch with his salesman, Miguel Alderete, and he was eager to see what he could do. It was his day off, but he was willing to come in to assist and put in the hours to get a deal done and keep a Ford customer "in the family" rather than letting them walk away with a negative opinion of Ford. He was able to arrange for a fair price for my trade in and sought out all incentives and rebates to make the deal work out along with his manager. The entire process took less than 8 hours and I was able to leave work and drive home in my new vehicle. The absolute best experience - fair and left me wanting to send others to the same dealership going forward. Prior to this, and following my negative experience in Las Cruces, I was seriously considering switching to a different manufacturer rather than receive the treatment I was subjected to in Las Cruces. Vision Ford salvaged a loyal Ford Customer that was ready to walk away and never look back.

A/C issue resolved

Darla scheduled and took care of problem efficiently once again. A/C issue was an inconsistent issue so it was difficult to diagnose but a service bulletin for similar issues by others was found, replacement part ordered, and appointment scheduled for actual replacement. Every thing was done in a timely manner and vehicle had even been washed before I picked it up. Just another typical great experience in Vision Ford's service department. Thank you Darla.
