Walked in the door and from the first moment I knew I was buying my next Volvo at Smythe. Kyle helped me find exactly what I was looking for, he had all the details on the car's history, and Smythe's reputation. Rob and Kevin both helped me with delivery, and I must say it was a pleasure. This is my fifth Volvo, and second XC70, looking forward to working with Smythe long into the future!

I was transferred to the US for work and wanted to buy a vehicle as soon as I arrived. I visited a couple of vehicle dealers and all of then could sell me a vehicle, as long as I had proof of ID. I found a car that I liked at Smythe Volvo. A rude salesperson, told me that they would not consider any of the documents I could provide (ID, passport, foreign drivers license, SSN) as as proof of ID. He was very unhelpful, not providing any valid reason for not selling me the vehicle. I felt discriminated in this car dealer, since in other places they allowed me to buy a car. In "Motor Vehicle Commission of New Jersey" website, they say you can buy a car providing "Purchaser’s actual driver's license OR identification document."

I responded to an ad for a Corvette on their used lot and was helped by Oliver P. He was very accomodating and after we finished the negotiations and I purchased the car, he and one of his service personnel drove my other car home for me (65 miles one way). The service and friendly atmosphere displayed by the staff at Smyth Volvo was 5 star.

I went in for a test drive, and get trade in price quote on my old '99 Lexus ES300. The sales person told me to take the car for a test drive, did not explain the console of the car, and took almost 45mins. to evaluate my trade in and came back with $1000. Are you kidding me? The guy was a [violative content deleted]. What a horrible experience. Will never go back there. They will rob you blind!

We bought an XC60 from Kevin Flanagan and his group at Smythe Volvo a year ago. We love Volvo's and have had many other models along with 2 XC90's before we bought the 60--we wanted a car just a little smaller. We live over an hour away but were recommened here by a salesman from another dealership. We got the deal that was right for us and even the color I wanted. We hope to continue doing business here in future years. I wish they would move closer!
