Good experience for a car dealer

I leased a RAV4 today from Prestige Toyota and I must say it was a pretty good experience for a car dealership. We all have pretty low expectations of how painful a process buying or leasing a new car can be but these guys were pretty straight forward and did all they could to help put together a deal that would work the best for what I wanted including buying out my currently leased vehicle with still 8 months to go with zero cost to me. Sure there was the usual back and forth on the price for a few minutes but that's the part of the process I actually tend to enjoy. The key to shopping for a new car is to go when you don't really need one (yet) so you don't feel under any extra pressure to make a bad deal. The other key is to go during the week when they're not so busy so you can take your time with a test ride or two to help make your decision which they gracious accommodated last week. If you come here knowing the price you want to pay for a vehicle by doing your homework on Edmunds I'm sure you'll be able to get the deal you're looking for in a reasonable amount of time but it may take a few rounds of negotiation, after all this is a car purchase we're talking about... Also they managed to have me in and out of the dealership in under 2 hrs when I came to pick up the new car and sign all the paperwork. This included turning in my current leased vehicle for inspection, dealing with the finance guy and all the extra add-on options (just say no) and completely going over ever detail of my new vehicle including activating the bluetooth connection to my cell phone. This has to be close to a world record if you've ever gone through this process.
