It's a rainy Sat morning, two tires are leaking air, what to do? Call Bob!

It's raining heavily on a Saturday morning and my wife returns from the local deli after getting coffee and bagels in new MY24 Defender that is now six months old. Both her rear tires are low on air pressure (one by 8 psi and one by 5 psi) after I had previously topped them off two weeks ago. While I inspected all the angles I could see, there were no noticeable nails or screws. What to do? Call Bob Decker in JLR Parsippany's Service Department who was fortunately covering the service desk this particular Saturday. I live about 40 miles away from the dealership and Bob said to come right in. Upon arrival, he took my keys and had a tech immediately take our Defender into the shop. The tech found a metal shard had punctured the inner sidewall of the driver side tires and there was a long small-head nail between the treads of the passenger side tire. While the latter could be patched, the former needed to be replaced. Bob "worked his magic" and his local tire supplier drove a new replacement tire over to the dealership in real-time. My vehicle was fixed and I was in-and-out in less then 90 minutes during this unscheduled while-I-wait service visit. Kudos to Bob and the Service Department team at JLR Parsipanny!!!

I purchased a beautiful Black Range Rover Sport with Rose colored accents! I had the pleasure of meeting Bill the owner/manager. Great Guy!! and Chad Drake my salesman. It isn’t often to have high praise for a car salesman but Chad is a find. He is professional, knowledgeable, smart and fun!! He kept me updated daily on my car’s arrival. He even sent me photos of it being unloaded. A nice touch. He made the paperwork a breeze. He delivered the car to my home and programmed my phone and all the little perks this beautiful car has to offer, all with a smile and sense of humor. I highly recommend this dealership and my favorite salesman Chad!!!

Not Reputable!

I took my 2019 Range Rover Sport in for service and they damaged the console. They told me they ordered the part and it would be in two weeks. That was four months ago. I have called my service advisor (Anthony) over 12 times, escalated the situation to management, and IT IS STILL NOT FIXED . This is no way to run a dealership let alone service customers. I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE THAT THEY FIND A REPUTABLE DEALER AND ITS NOT PAUL MILLER.

Not very happy with the last two visits

My first visit was awful Apparently when the car is returned to the customer it's Land Rover policy to wash all the trucks (mine wasn't) and was promised a car detail with the next service Second visit: I had gone in for an oil change, upon speaking with Mike Barone (I reminded him that I was promised a detail and he states that he couldn't remember and we was going back and forth a few minutes finally he had some knowledge about the conversation. I was given a loaner and the first one was very filthy no gas, second loaner upon driving off the rotors were rubbing didn't feel safe driving it, and that too was dirty inside and out

Horrible customer service

My 2013 LR2 HSE had less then 1000 miles on it and we had to take in in because of it bogging down when starting. I was promised the vehicle everyday for a week. Needless to say by the end of the week I was livid. Not only did I not get a loaner car but was now told they were once again ordering more parts for it, but promised I would have my vehicle by the following monday. (During this time I had left a message for our salesman who told us they would detail the vehicle when we brought it back since they didnt do that before we took it home. He never returned my call. ) So Monday comes around I call to find out the status of truck and once again am told they had to order yet ANOTHER part and was told I would have truck back on Tuesday. Tuesday night I did finally get my truck back but it is still not running right. And the BEST part was when I went to go to work on Wednesday I found out it was on empty! Thanks for that guys! My experience dealing with Land Rover of Parssippany has NOT been a very good experience at all. I should have walked out the 1st day when we were told truck would be ready in 2 hours to go have lunch whatever. I was not ready. Another 4 hours later still not detailed but we could take it home. Horrible horrible service in every area of this dealer.

Defective car seat

We bought a 2003 Discovery there in Sept. 2003. We kept up with all the maintenence there also. A few times the didn't change the oil when they were supposed to, my husband marked something to check because he didn't trust them. The straw that broke the proverbial back was when we needed to change a tire and found that during one of our return visits to replace a sensor in the computer one of the techs took our good tire on the back and replaced it with a bald one! Dealer said the people were no longer working there but did not replace. Neither did Land Rover of America help. Now that we have a problem with our seat burning it's the same story. Dealer said it's not their problem. Land Rover of America said the same thing. Then whose problem is it. We sure as heck didn't build this truck. Everybody that has one of these trucks says they are nothing but trouble and this dealer are [non-permissible content removed]. This is probably a wiring defect in this seat, the passenger one is ok. This seat has always blown a fuse when you adjust the back and the cracking in the seat is probably from the winter when we would turn the seat heater on. It was probably installed to close to the top of the seat. It burnt my coat which I didn't know about until my husband saw the seat was scorched. It could have caught fire whe I was driving my daughter to and from school or the mall or wherever. But no, it is not Land Rover's problem. We will be talking to a lawyer.
