POOREST SERVICE EVER

I purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle with this dealership in April, I was working with a sales person that I trusted and purchased multiple cars from a previous dealership. I need to be clear that the issue is with the dealership and the GM Carlos/service manager Melissa obviously after writing this review the policies of this dealership do not match those of the other reputable dealership I had worked with previously. I have made ONLY (2) payments! on this vehicle. Before I even made the first payment to this vehicle the transmission started slipping and I made multiple attempts to have a loaner car and car serviced only to be told no loaner car was NOT available (or to have one be available and then canceled appointment because they overbooked loaner cars). So I arranged to drop off the car while I was away on a trip to visit daughter and new grand child. WELL...IT Turned out the car needed a new clutch and would require a 100.00 deductible. ME Refusing to pay the deductible due to the fact that I hadn't even made my first payment on the vehicle, the general manager Carlos refused to pay it and had the sales person pay out of his own pocket! I left multiple messages for the GM to call me because the transmission still appeared to be slipping only to be ignored and avoided by saying he was out to lunch etc. (out to lunch for 3 hours!) (if there was an attachment feature i would attach call logs/text messages) that being said after speaking to the ford service manager he explained to me to just give it a little time and address again at a future time with specific mileage. So now after making 2 payments replacing the clutch etc., THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT has now appeared and I am scheduled to move out of state in the , me being Leary and feeling like I have been sold a lemon tried to contact GM Carlos and service manager Melissa only having a response that this is my problem and "EVEN NEW CARS HAVE MECHANICAL PROBLEMS"So what is my concern or issue? As well as the fact the I had zero attempts in contacting them to resolve issue. Multiple attempts yet again to contact Carlos and Melissa to be told that they would not help me with extended warranty or trade in for a different car..When i asked the GM Carlos to speak to his boss his reply "I am the boss' there isn't anyone else I was hired to deal with people like you!"so I asked nobody signs your paycheck? His reply I will refuse to help you if you are going to continue to get upset! I contacted corporate and was told all dealerships are privately owned and they can do pretty much what they want. What kills me the most is the pitch of a CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED CAR? What or how was this credentialed as certified or pre-owned to only be treated with such poor service. At one point they actually told corporate I made a scene in their showroom, considering I had been there a total of 3 times. to purchase, to drop off before vacation, and to pick up following. not a scene to be had! If you continue to read reviews please recognize that there are more just like mine. and obviously the reviews aren't being monitored by the owner but the GM CARLOS HIMSELF

Worst Sales skills or something else

When I was handed over to a sales rep at Irwin Mazda with assurance that am in good hands now little did I know I was gonna have my worst experience ever till date at not only a car dealership but overall Service industry. The gentleman attending me Mike had a totally unwelcome air about him. He did not seem interested enough to pursue this sales opportunity and merely went through the motions of getting me a test drive. Instead of trying to find out what my requirements are and how he could help me with my decisions he just went about answering my questions curtly. Later on when it came to agreeing upon the price of the car, he was very much rude and almost started yelling at me to put his point through. Till then I was almost on my breaking point with such bad experience after driving down 55 miles all the way to this dealership. Its very much possible that you not always end up in a successful deal but then there are ways of dealing with customers even though deals dont work out. Mike was at his rudest worst in overall his body language as well as his articulation. Without wasting time I left with a bitter taste wondering if it was just bad sales skills on the representatives part or something else.

Perfect Experience!

After searching for the best qualified dealer, Irwin Mazda came up as number 1 across the board. From my first step inside and a greeting from Adam, my experience was exceptional. I had not expected to buy a car that day but all my questions were answered, the price was better than expected, the car I chose was fun! and there was no reason NOT to buy a car after my visit! Even the financing went quick and smooth - I highly, highly recommend Irwin Mazda for your next vehicle. What a sweet ride! What fabulous customer service - thank you!

Good Experience buying a Car

My experience was pleasant with buying a vehicle. I saw the car online, while searching all over for a car and found this as the best car, almost no mileage, at the best price, and the nicest, professional, sales person named Gill. Ask for Gill Truedsson. He will help you. He took the time & energy to show me everything with operating the inside of the car and walking me through the process with ease. I purchased a 2013 Lincoln MKX. I love the car.

I was greeted upon entering the dealership by Mike M who was a very friendly salesman. He made my car buying experience as least stressful as possible to help me get into a brand new car as quickly as possible.

For an awesome experience

So my wife and I decided to stop in just to look at a 2016 Mazda 6. Although on a small lot, this dealership had enough different models to help us decide. After the usual and what's to be expected negotiations we didn't think we could muster enough to close a deal. To our surprise my salesperson Eileen came through. The next thing you know, we are buying 2 cars from Irwin. As an extra touch of class, I asked Eileen to place a bow and rose on my wife's car to surprise her at pickup. Not only did they do this, but the staff went all out to make my wife feel "special". My wife later told me that she had never had an experience like that at a dealership and that she'd always remember it. Thank you Irwin Mazda

After checking prices on all the different resources available on the internet, I contacted several dealers and inquired about there "out the door price" and then the games began. To make a long story short Jay I gave me a competitive accurate price and no games.

Two weeks ago I walked into the Irwin Mazda dealership to purchase a black, Mazda3. Unfortunately, there were none left! Undaunted, Senior Salesman Adam G assured me that he would do his utmost to locate the car of my choice. Day after day he tracked down cars from dealer to dealer until he did it!
