Dishonest Sales

What a horrendous experience. I called in advanced about the csr I was interested in. Arrived and it was ready to drive. Good first, and only, step. Car drove great. Came in to sit with the agent and I kid you not my butt was not even in the chair before he said 'just so you know, the price online is not the actual price'. I told him I went by the price on their website. He pointed me to the fine print saying there were modifications made and it would be an additional $1360 on the price shown (back to this later). I didnt push back and simply asked what he was willing to adjust on the price since I was interested in buying today. He said 'our website price is the best price we can do'. Is it? Didnt you just tell me the website isn't actually the price? So then I told him I am looking at liberty and one other dealer with a similar car. Before I could even finish, he says 'we don't price match'. So there is nothing you want to do to get me to buy this car instead of me going to the other dealer? No was the answer. I got up, left, went to the other dealer who's car price was not only accurate, he came down in price a little to help me buy the car that day. My credit is 870 and I was ready to buy in cash. Liberty is eveything you hate about car dealers. Avoid at all costs. Oh, later i looked at the fine print for the additional mark up cost the dishonest salesman mentioned. There was no such thing.

dont waist your time or money

Don't even waste your time! I drove over an hour and a half to get down here with a firm price from the salesman in writing. Just for them to have to pull a bait and switch wanna charge me an extra $2000! This is not the way to do business, if you set a price with somebody you shouldn't change it just because you want to make more money I suggest you look elsewhere for a Toyota Do not use Hiram Vazquez as your salesmen . He gave me a price in writing, then changed it after we drove an hour and a half to get there, wanting $2000 more!

Best buying experience

Did not honor Price Promise

I feel like this dealer is dishonest. We had the Edmunds Price Promise certificate and when we got to the dealership they said Edmunds had not included $4000 worth of "upgrades" on the vehicle so they jacked the price up $4000 from our certificate. I feel like they did the old bait and switch trick. We didn't appreciate their dishonesty and we left without a new vehicle.

Highly Pleased, best service to date going back to 1993 for my family!

I had inquiry the Liberty Toyota website as to the purchase of a new vehicle. Within minutes I was contacted and given an appointment for the next day at noon with Rodney the sales manager. As soon as we walked in the door Mr. James Koluboi was there to greet us he introduce us the Rodney and proceeded to get down to business after asking us to tell him what we were interested in. The whole transactions was smooth and we are very happy about the excellent and personal service we received. This is the fourth vehicle we have purchase from this dealership and have referred numerous individuals base on the service we received however we were really impress with Mr. Koluboi'S customer service and his genuine concern that are needs were satisfied.

Sales Review and Service Review

I purchased my Corolla about 2 years ago and I have been extremely satisfied with the vehicle, and have had not problems with the car to this date. The personnel at the dealership were great to deal with, both online and when I came into the dealership to pick up the car. They were professional, courteous and very pleasant to deal with. I have also taken the car in for oil changes and the service department were excellent in getting the car serviced in minimal time. They were very courteous and nice to deal with while I was there. Thanks to all the personnel I have dealt with at the Toyota dealership in Burlington, New Jersey.

Let The Potential Buyer Beware!!!

Let The Potential Buyer BEWARE!!! I understand the need for businesses to try to get the best deal they can for their product or service. However, when do we draw the line between the philosophy, "it's just business", and the term, "shady business practices"? When a dealership conspires to deliberately "stall" a PAYING customer in order to hold out for a better deal on a vehicle, I consider that shady and unethical. I came into this dealership 3 times for a specific truck I was interested in with a pre-approved bank draft in the amount they told me I would need. I was ready to take delivery on the truck on the night I came in (for the 3rd time driving from Montgomery County, PA), but was told they needed to confirm the bank would honor the draft. I agreed to have the bank send written confirmation. Without my permission or my knowlegde, an extra $3300. was then added to my purchase agreement for an extended warranty that I knew nothing about. When I asked to see the paperwork and the final numbers before they faxed it to the bank I was told that it wasn't necessary and that I didn't have to sign it. They were not going to let me see it until after the finance manager had already faxed it to the bank. I insisted on seeing the paperwork and when I saw the amount, I questioned the finance manager on it and She agreed to draw up a new agreement (with the original amount as agreed - which also happened to be the amount of my auto draft). The finance manager was suppose to then fax it to my bank. The bank never received the contract, and when she was contacted the next day, she said she would send it again - apparently, "something happened" to the fax machine the night before). This finance manager ended up calling me an hour later to tell me the vehicle had been sold that morning - the vehicle was never put in the system as sold after I signed the contract. I asked to speak with the GM of the dealership to file a complaint, however this request was not honored. Since then, I have not received a phone call or an apology for this incident (but yet they still send me emails with "Great Deals"). As the employee of a large university in Philadelphia, I will make sure I tell everyone I know - students, faculty and staff. Liberty will have to work twice as hard & spend more money for marketing and advertising to attract new customers because of their shady business practices. Hopefully, this review will serve to enlighten others. If ethical business practices are what you are looking for, I encourage everyone to do their homwork before going to a dealership, especially one like this.

Great Sales Experience

Just want to thank James K. for making my purchase of a 2013 Camry SE a very pleasant experience. James is very professional and knowledgable of all aspects of the purchase. I also want to thank Chris B. for his professional courtesy in making the deal and also for his help in obtaining the best deal for my son who is planning to purchase his car here. I have purchased many cars here and each time the staff makes you feel at home and very comfortable without the traditional sales pressure. Thanks again for a GREAT sales experience.

Excellent experience

I went to Liberty Toyota after visiting another Toyota dealership. Liberty was very helpful, took their time with me, showed me many options, and treated me with respect. Didn't play games with me or constantly need to 'check with the manager'. I appreciate that they valued my time and intelligence. And I feel I got a great deal! I wanted a Red RAV4. The first dealership I went to flat out said that I couldn't get it in red and no they don't order you a vehicle anymore. The RAV4 brochure said that it did come in red. I left there thinking that if I'm going to be spending that kind of money for a vehicle I want what I want. I went to Liberty and although they didn't have a red RAV4 Limited on their lot, they searched and found me exactly what I wanted. They went the extra mile! I appreciate all the time they took with me, finding me exactly what I wanted, and then showing me how to work all the bells and whistles. I would definitely recommend this dealership and I would definitely buy from them again. Also want to give a big THANK YOU to my sales person Stan. He's very knowledgeable and repeatedly offered me help, even after I bought the vehicle. This is a great place to buy a vehicle from!
