I recently unexpectedly needed to purchase a new (used) car after my vehicle didn't pass inspection. It was a scramble to find a car that met the list of needs I had but we located one at Macfarland Ford and they were incredibly speedy in all responses to me to set up a test drive and come back the next day to bring my vehicle in for trade in. They were friendly, informative and overall very helpful, efficient and accommodating. Bruce and Bill were fantastic to work with. Thank you! I am very happy with my new car!

I was referred by a friend to McFarland and went in wanting a specific vehicle I had found at an out of state dealership. Having done research in advance, I went in with what I was willing to accept for my trade and what I was willing to pay for the vehicle I wanted them to get me. I just picked up my 2nd new Ford vehicle from Dave Friedman at McFarland Ford. I found Dave through TrueCar website when searching for my wife's new vehicle last year. We got a 2016 Ford Escape SE. We had been to other dealers and none of them could touch the price we got from Dave at McFarland. He was able to locate a vehicle with all of the options we wanted for a great price. He even got us the amount we wanted for our trade. The whole process was extremely easy and Dave was a pleasure to work with. I knew I would be back as our son was going to be getting his license. Fast forward to May 2017. I called Dave and asked about used cars for my son. After a short phone call with Dave and some options, I decided to give my 2011 Ford Fiesta SE 4-Door to my son and get a new 2017 Fiesta SE 4-Door for myself. Since I purchased my Fiesta, I've logged over 137,000 miles and it's still going strong with only normal wear and tear items for maintenance. During the month of May there were some great deals on the Fiesta that I couldn't pass up. Dave once again located the ONLY vehicle that matched my requirements in 150 miles. It was ready to pick up a couple of days later. I went to McFarland Ford with my son and we were in and out in under an hour with my new car. Dave on the sales side and Eric in finance made the process easy again and I will be back again when it's time to get another vehicle.

Recently purchased a 2016 Explorer through the on line sales department. The process was easy and transparent. I purchased a 2016 ford explorer. I had originally looked at another dealship which badically was stringing us along and told us what we were asking was impossible. Called Mcfarland and that same night found three potential vehicles they were exactly what we were looking for. Had my explorer two days later. Dave friedman was our salesman and he was amazing!! Very happy with the customer service and turning our bad situation into an awesome experience!

I purchased a 2016 Ford Escape from McFarland Ford. The service I received was OUTSTANDING!!! I never knew buying a vehicle could be so easy and stress free. My past experiences elsewhere made me leery of buying from a dealership again. Dave Friedman, the Internet Manager changed my opinion about car dealerships. Dave went above and beyond: before, during and after the purchase was made!! The Finance Manager, Eric Cummings took care of the financing for me and it was the quickest and most pleasant finance experience in my car buying history!! I only worked with 2 of McFarland's staff and was quite impressed. Everyone I came across was friendly and courteous. I live in southern NH and was going to go to a local dealership for my service rather than travel the 60+ miles up to Exeter. That is no longer the case. McFarland Ford and their staff make it well worth the trip!!! They have a lifetime customer in me. I would HIGHLY recommend McFarland Ford to anyone looking to buy a vehicle, new or used. Excellent Customer service. I came in to buy a 2014 Ford F150. Other dealerships I went to tried to push their inventory and never listened to me. The first thing Celia did was to sit down and ask what was important to us prior to showing us anything. That approach along with openness and honesty is what set McFarland apart from the rest!

Terrible experience with McFarland Ford

My experience with McFarland Ford was perhaps one of the worst customer experiences that I've had in my lifetime. The salesperson was completely unprofessional, the sales manager was belligerent and condescending, and they misrepresent their vehicle prices on the internet, presumably to attract inquiries. I have been a Ford buyer all my life, but I would never consider purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. I have reported my experience to the Consumer Affairs division within the state, as well as with the BBB, and would suggest that if others have similar experiences, that they report them as well. Businesses have to be accountable for their actions, and it's important that we as consumers share our experiences with others, so that poor customer service is addressed and remedied. Ford makes a fine vehicle, but McFarland Ford is not the place in which to purchase one.
