Alex Castillo and the entire staff at Carson City Toyota were very polite, did not try to pressure me, and worked to get me a fantastic deal on the new SUV I wanted. Alex took his time with me and made sure I was completely satisfied with every aspect of buying a new Toyota. I highly recommend buying here.

While getting an oil change on another vehicle I wanted to look at what was available for a future purchase. Luna, Chris, Beau worked very hard to address all my questions without pressure, They are great guys, very straight forward, Luna and the guys and worked all the possibilities to get me exactly what I wanted for less than I expected. My husband and I were about to purchase an Audi Q5, but last minute we decided to stop by the Toyota dealership and ended up purchasing a Highlander from Alexis "Luna" Castillo. He was super friendly, patient and really worked to get us a great deal on our purchase. He made us feel comfortable with everything and gave us time to make the right decisions for us! I would recommend "Luna" to other car buyers!

My husband and I recently bought a new car and couldn’t believe the experience. Luna and Trinity took really good care of us.(the entire sales floor was amazing ,can’t remember everyone’s name we talked to). My husband said it was like shopping for a car with a friend not a sales person. Luna made sure to help us with any questions and even when he wasn’t working he was helping us out. What an amazing guy. Trinity was extremely helpful and polite. He was constantly making sure we were taken care of. I am so pleased with this experience that we probably will go through only them from now on to buy a car!!! Amazing!!!

Me & my wife purchased a 4runner 4X4 a couple of weeks ago from Kyle. Daniel followed thru on closing the deal a couple of weeks later. We got EXACTLY what we wanted as we live in the sticks & needed a tough vehicle that could handle the constant abuse of our dirt roads & severe off road terrain up here in Bishop, California. This 4runner will have a hard life up here & be rode hard & put away wet. The first salesman Kyle walked us thru with EXACTLY what we needed option wise & the second salesman Daniel spent over 3 hours teaching us how to use all of the added optional equipment. Needless to say we are a big fan of Carson City Toyota. You guys are ZERO BS & we both appreciate that.

Ralph Halter and Will Stalker were amazing they made my car search and purchase the smoothest possible they made it all happen in a day and my brand new car will be here in a little over a week. I have been waiting for Dolan Toyota to "find" me the car I built online to purchase for 6 weeks after the sales associate neglected to call me back I spoke with a manager who assured me he would call back with an update, never heard back so I took my business elsewhere and I am not discounted

Carson City Toyota took my new truck to that shop, dropped it off, picked it back up, and had it ready for me at the dealership for no additional charge.

I went in and looked at a few cars with Rose, and she was honest and helpful. Three weeks later I went back to purchase my new truck from Rose and and the internet manager Chris. Both of them were completely honest and up front about all the cost, fees and made me a fantastic deal! Would send a friend and family member to them without hesitation.

Manager Chris Houston is awesome,he recommended DT Ngyuen as our sales representatives for our new car.We purchased the Toyota 2017 4 runner without any problems at all.They made us feel very comfortable about getting a new car and make sure that that's what we really wanted.So that's what they did,we had the 4 runner on our hands that day.To you guys,we really appreciated not only for being a professional but also for being so nice us...thanks a lot and definitely seeing you again.We would recommend you guys to our family and friends.

Good News, I am more than happy to say I had an AMAZING experience at the Carson City Toyota. From start to finish it was a smooth easy process. I had submitted my credit check over the internet and dealt with Sondra Manning from the Internet department , she also helped me around the lot to pick the vehicle of choice. She is Awesome and so helpful. I also want to thank Michael Rathje for his process in the finance office which was fast and very informative, Chris Houston on his knowledge about the vehicles I had questions about. I had all documents submitted in the morning and was able to pick up my vehicle the same day all nice and neat and ready to go. I would highly recommend for family and friends to stop on by to this dealership. Thank you again for GREAT customer service and I will be back for more:)

Everything about my experience at Carson City Toyota was very professional and best of all: EASY. The deal I made with Salesman Mike Weaver went so smoothly that I am telling everyone I know to go buy their car over at Carson City Toyota. We were treated with so much respect and kindness and Finance Manager Toby Dale got us in and out with ease and a firm handshake. My Used Buick LeSabre was the perfect match for me and this experience of buying my first car will last me a lifetime.

I bought a Lexus GX 470 used, bought it 10/28/16. It's now 11/18/16 and my Lexus is now in the shop with a 4000 dollar repair. When I alerted the problem to Caron Toyota, they basically told me that when sold it was not a safety issue. How ever stated on the vehicle inspection that there was a vibration which was brought to my attention but somehow the noise the vehicle makes was not brought up. In fact he skipped over it. When I drove it off the lot notice the sound occurred when ever I would press the brake pedal down. I should have taken it back to the dealership immediately, but being told by the dealership that it was a safe vehicle to drive. Now I have only had the vehicle for less than a month and now in the shop with a huge repair bill, it seems that they found noise and figure out the problem but did not want to repair it because the cost. I tried to reach out to the sales person Chris Houston(the guy who sold the me the car) with no response. Yet I haven't heard back. Now when Chris brought this car to my attention, I was happy it fit into my budget though it being a Lexus I know service to car could be expensive just did not expect in the first month to be forking out for a repair already. As a first time buyer, I was looking for a sale person who understood and would be more helpful. though when asking questions got vague responses. When I asked why there are Toyota rims on a Lexus vehicle he (Chris)could not give me an explanation of why they where on there. When I asked for any service records or the Carfax which he could not or would not produce for the vehicle. Now I do share some of the blame though I thought I was asking the right question seemed like it would shift the conversation to different things about the car. When I asked about an extended warranty they quoted an outrageous sum then proceed to tell me that it is basically a Toyota with a lexus badge. That it would be dependable. I have heard horror stories of car dealer and being my first time was very weary about evening going to a dealership. Now I'm writing my own horror story. I feel like I got ripped off and sales rep where not truthful about the vehicle. I can understand if I bought the vehicle from a private party though went to the a dealer hoping to find a decent car that had been check out by proper mechanics. Now I know these guys do a half ass job and instead fixing the problem before sale of the vehicle takes places they just send it out. I'm a loyal fan to the product or brand and was hoping to continue to buy my vehicles from there but now I'm forced upon principle to never shop at carson toyota or any affiliated dealership with carson Toyota. At this point in time my vehicle is unsafe to drive. I spent a bunch of money and now all I have is a 2 ton paper weight I would like to say thanks to Chris Houston the team at Toyota Carson for continually live up to the shady practices of the car salesman.

After researching and comparing out the door prices on a 2014 Scion FR-S at both Reno Toyota and Carson City Toyota, C C Toyota was able to save me $440. with lower sales tax and lower fees. CC Toyota had several '13 Scions in stock and NO 2014 FR-S. Obviously, they would have preferred to sell me a 2013. However, after amicable discussion with sales mgr. Dan L., he graciously ordered me a 2014 Scion FR-S in ultramarine blue/automatic. They had a red one coming in from port of L A, and changed it to my specifications. They demonstrated an ability to please their customer. Sales agent D T N. was knowledgeable and treated me with respect and not as a "set up" like the people at Reno Toyota. Even the finance agent, Mike, was a pleasure to work with. He got me an 8% loan with my poor credit history. My own credit union denied a loan, period. I was both pleased and surprised. Overall, I would give this dealership a 9+. They have a cool lounge with free assorted drinks, cookies, two flat screen TV's, two computers with printer, and a see thru electric fireplace. Very homey. I intend to stop by this winter for some warmth and good cheer! My expectations were exceeded and I have nothing but praise for the staff's hard work on my behalf.

We went to Reno Toyota first and they send a mexican guy assuming we only spoke spanish, he didn't know the answers to our questions and I was getting frustrated with it so we left to Carson Toyota. They were nice from the start and made an effort to connect (sure its part of the sales pitch but it made the experience better). The salesman clearly saw that I would be "trouble" and my parents werent as well informed. We were about to leave since we were just looking, but his sales manager came out and was a typical pushy salesman and asked us if we wanted to drive one. My parents decided to give it a go, but we didnt want to deal with him, since i read on edmunds that the fleet department gets you the best prices. So i asked if we could work with him and you could tell the annoyance of the salesman with how much research i had done. Throughout the number talk, we ended up getting an upgrade package and roof rack for edmunds.com's fair purchase price, which i was very happy with. Overall, it was a good experience, we are happy with the purchase, but there are definitely some shady salesmen here. Just ask for someone else!

Watch Out! Bait and Switch from Joe Alferez

I should have known better when Joseph (Joe) Alferez hung up on me after I told him another dealer got me a better price on a Tundra I was looking at. I decided to get a Tacoma instead and shopped it around. I got a quote from Thompson's Toyota down in Placerville for $35,600 and asked Joe if he could meet or beat that price. He said he could. He got the Tacoma I wanted on the dealership floor and asked for a deposit. I gave him $1000 and told him I'd be down later in the week to sign the papers. Low and behold, I show up and he now wants $36,500...a $900 increase from what he'd quoted me before. He chalked it up as a "miscommunication." BS. Looking through the email conversation (always keep a record!!), it's clear that he knew the price he had to beat. In the end, I told him I wasn't going to pay the extra $900 on his bait-and-switch and to refund my $1000 deposit. The general manager came in and said I needed to pay transportation costs of $110 to get the truck to the dealership and they were only going to refund $890 of my deposit. So now I'm without a truck they had promised me AND I have to dispute the charge on my credit card for the $110 they stole from me. Stay away from these guys!! Their cool little radio commercial touts their customer service record is one of the best in the country, but that's false. I'll never be back here again.
