New Explorer purchase

Tim O'Neil was an excellent salesman, extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He assisted in finding the Platinum Explorer with the options we preferred at a fair price. He made extra effort to make sure we were completely satisfied. After a paint chip was found, he helped coordinate the quick and excellent repair so that it looks as good as new. This is the second new vehicle we have bought from him and highly recommend him.

I leased my 2016 Lincoln MKC AWD Reserve here. The price is truly unbeatable, $4869 off MSRP, and that was even BEFORE the incentive from Lincoln! ($2000 bonus cash, military/student discount, etc.). They also provide two years 100 times free car wash, $500 deductible reimbursement, and free rock chip repair. You can tell they sell cars by volume, not by price gap, so there is no hassle on the price tag, and people here are so friendly. We were looking at a Mustang six months ago; the experience was so great that I thought I must buy something from them later. Yes, I did, and I feel great about the hassle free no pressure buying experience! Thank you, Ben, for helping us shop our MKC!

Good Buying Experience

Anderson of Lincoln, NE is a good dealership to do business with. The sales people are friendly, professional and helpful. They worked very hard to obtain the vehicle I wanted in the time frame that I needed to have it. I highly recommend this dealership. The only reason that I did not rate 5 stars is that the price paid could have been a little lower based on my Internet research, but it was an O.K. price. We all want a better deal, don't we?!

Unscrupulous with fake blue book values!

My husband bought a used truck from Anderson Ford in July of last year. Anderson Ford certainly gave fast and friendly service -- with a huge ripoff. They showed my husband a fake blue book value on their computer, and he believed that they were telling him the truth. They sold him a truck worth $4,500.00 less than it's actual retail value! Even though the bed had holes and rust in it, Anderson Ford blue-booked it as being in pristine condition. They put items on the truck that it didn't have: both a sunroof and a moonroof. The tires were almost bald. They gave him a higher finance rate than they had originally told him too! My husband was upset because our child was ill & our truck had been in a hit & run, so he didn't shop like a wise buyer. It is still inexcusable what Anderson Ford did! The only thing Anderson Ford did after I went to the dealership was to put different used tires on the truck, & change the finance rate to what they had promised. They did absolutely nothing about the worst problem -- giving a fake blue book value and cheating us out of thousands of dollars.

I recently wanted to trade out of my old beat up Buick, and finally get a newer vehicle (I had my eye on a '08 Mazda 6). I had credit issues in the past, but I had built my credit up enough to be approved for a vehicle at Anderson. The sales people were very friendly, and answered all my questions. I am usually pretty intimidated by salesmen, as I feel they tend to think that just because I am a woman that I am a pushover. I didn't feel that way at Anderson Ford, and I was actually able to negotiate a fair price. I am very happy with my vehicle, and they called to make sure that everything went alright. I really appreciated their customer service, and their willingness to work with me on my terms.

Nothing but a bad experience from beginning to end. We had to sit and wait for a sales person to talk to us. (we were there to test drive a Mazda 6, and Ford Focus). When we finally were helped, we got a story about needing our drivers license photocopy, and some signed forms before we could test drive any vechicles. We had to wait for someone to go wander the lot, find a card, and pull it up (took about 10 minutes for the first car, and then 20 for the second). After the whole fiasco we get told to take a seat so that the sales guy and go get his boss to talk to us. This entire time, we can see into the sales person 'bullpin' and see the guy standing around joking while we're wasting out entire day at the dealership. I was extremely disappointed in the way we were treated like children by slimly sleazy car sales techniques that I thought were dead. After everything (we swore we'd never consider buying from Anderson) we were called 3 times the next day. The last person I finally explained that there was no way we would ever buy a car from them, that we'd already bought one, had gotten 3 calls, and to please never call us again. To their credit, they have not.
