Worst experience I have ever had!

The absolute worst customer service experience I’ve had in general let alone at a dealership! Due to false advertising I drove over two hours to be disrespected, treated like i knew nothing, and to have my credit checked without my permission 45 minutes after I left the dealership saying I wasn’t interested in the car anymore. One star is too much for my experience here at Ed Napleton Honda! Do not attempt to purchase a vehicle from here!

Poor service

Bought a 2018 on feb17. Two days worth of traveling to buy it. To be harrassed by finance manager. So after many calls later I finally get asked to come to dealership on march 20 to fix taillight and to talk about wat happened to me. Only to be told I need to take it to buick dealership cuz it under warranty. So I wasted 2 hrs of sitting there plus 36 min drive to there. And then the gm gives me 100 $ in quik trip gift cards to suffice for the harrassment their finance manager did to me. Wow. Very poor service

Unbelievable

Was told the Napleton "Xperience" was included in the vehicle price, after refusing it twice they wrote it in anyway ($1000). Added a 2 year bumper to bumper warranty without asking ($2000). Did not include my sales tax like i asked. Removed $250 from my trade in and charged me a temp tag fee when i wasnt getting a temp tag. Then they did not send me home with my buyers order and wouldnt give it to me until i walked in and asked for it in person (paper which shows all charges). They said they would remedy it, 3 months have passed and they have done nothing.

This was the VERY BEST DEALERSHIP that I ever purchased a car from. Very well trained and very professional auto dealership. The salesman ANTHONY TRIOLA was exceptionable. He exceeded my expectations. I was able to trade-in one car and buy the best car that I have wanted - and the exact car I was looking for. All of this done with no hassles and no games. Biggest selection I have ever seen of new and pre-owned cars. I would recommend this dealership to everyone! The entire staff is friendly, honest, and will exceed your expectations - just like ANTHONY TRIOLA did for me! Thank you Napleton and thank you ANTHONY TRIOLA!

Excellent experience

I just bought a new Honda Accord EX-L from Napleton Honda, and had a very good experience. My salesperson, Anthony Triola, was very knowledgeable and patient as I asked all kinds of questions. He was able to get a feel for what I wanted in a car by asking the right questions, and had me test drive two. He made the negotiation easy; I never felt pressured to buy. The sales manager, Dan Reidt got through all the financing and paperwork expeditiously. Everyone was friendly and I felt treated as if I were a VIP throughout the whole process. I've bought from other dealers that were equal to this, but I would definitely recommend Napleton Honda!

Greedy [non-permissible content removed]

My nightmare started when I found a car I wanted to buy at Ed Napleton Mazda in St. Peters. I went on July 11 to see it and drive it. When it was time to do the paperwork is when the nightmare started. I was offered $8700. for my trade-in, but when I refused their maintenance package ( $995. ) they said if I didn't take it that they would take $1000. off of my trade. How can they do that after already making me an offer on my car? I told them that I would never use them for maintenance because I live so far away from them. After arguing about it I left.. I emailed the salesman the next day and then he responded on Saturday, July 13th to tell me to come get the car. I assumed they had agreed to my offer, but that wasn't the case. First they left my waiting for hours and then told me their offer hadn't changed. And it all went back to them insisting on me buying their maintenance package for $995. I told them again and again that I didn't want it. Everyone in the building knew I didn't want it. Finally exhausted and late for my brothers 70 birthday party ( Which they knew I was late for ) I just gave in.. I know I should have walk out.. Again! Then the financing nightmare began.. The finance guy insisted that I was going to take the warranty even though I didn't want it. The car I bought was 2 years old with only 24,000 miles on it. I didn't see it necessary to pay for an extended warrany.. When it was all finished I had it anyway, plus another service package. This one was $265. and it consisted of a tire rotation and 2 oil changes. Really??? When I went to license my car and pay the taxes I was told that I needed emissions and a safety inspection. I can't believe they sold me a car without them. Got those and went back to the DMV and was told I didn't have an odometer reading, which had something to do my car coming from another state so back to car dealer to get one. I bought my own bracket for my car and will have it drilled and attached.

Customer Service is NOT a priority. Neither is being honest.

I bought a new to me Honda CR-V at the beginning of May. It took over 30 minutes for someone to help my daughter and I. I had to interrupt a sales associate just to get noticed. He did help me and ultimately I purchased the car. However, once the dealership has your money, they are done with you. I was told I HAD to purchase three items. The Anti-theft, Maintenance package (called Napleton for life) and a service contract (named The Mechanic). He told me that Napleton originally sold this car to the first buyer, and the original owner also had to purchase the packages. I was promised a full tank of gas also. I received 1/4 of a tank. When I called to speak with my salesperson several times, somehow I was hung up on or made to wait. I tried email. I sent 4 different emails. Not one response. I spoke with my finance company and I was told that I did not in any way, HAVE to purchase those items to buy a car. Was it because I was a female with my teenage daughter that they decided to lie to me? I guess I was an easy mark. If they make every single person purchase those three things, then my particular car was sold the exact same thing twice. Like I mentioned, I have tried several ways of contacting the dealership. I guess since they have their money, I don't matter any longer. I honestly don't see how it is ethical to sell the exact same thing over and over for the exact same car. I also find it ridiculous that they add that on to every single car sold. You do not have a choice in the matter (at least that is what I was told). I will not recommend Ed Napleton to anyone in the future for obvious reasons. UPDATE AS OF 7/16/19. I was able to get the most expensive warranty refunded. They refused to cancel the other 2. The only reason that was done is that Orlando, the sales associate had the finance guy see me. I pointed out the cancellation policy. He read it. He said, it still isn't possible. (yet it is IN the contract) I have contacted the Attorney General. I also went to schedule my "free" oil change. I did it online and my only two days off of work are Saturday and Sunday. They are closed Sunday. I do not live close by. I had to pick a Saturday. I do work out by the dealer 3 or 4 days a week. I called today to see if they could loan me a car while I dropped mine off and then go to work and come back. I was told no. They only give loaners for non-routine things. However, I could rent a car. So my "Napelton 4 Life" that I was forced to purchase, is going to cost me more money if I don't want to waste gas and mileage. I have 3 closer Honda dealers. If I have to pay, of course, I would rather use them. Of course, the response to my Google review was to call them and I did. Funny how they do not return calls nor try to solve the problem. I wish I could give 0 stars. They don't even deserve the one.
