Horrible customer service

These guys will drag every penny out of you and then once you have signed the papers you don't matter to them any more. They wouldn't budge an inch on the price. Not even $100. I was misled multiple times on the price we agreed on. If they weren't the only ones in the area who had the exact vehicle I wanted, I would have gone somewhere else. I highly recommend that you do. They wouldn't even provide me with a spare key.

Pleasant Suprise

We had a very pleasant experience buying a used 2009 Toyota Matrix at Ackerman Toyota today. The sales staff was laid back, yet knowledgeable and we did not feel pressured. We had done our research and found another car online with a better price. They did not hesitate to accept our lower offer. All in all, it was a very painless and friendly experience.

Excellent!!!!

I worked with Rebeccah in the internet deparment and she was GREAT! She sent me a detailed email with a price quote. She beat everyone elses price right from the start. On the top of that she is very friendly and always available to answer questions. It was the easiest most enjoyable car buying experience I have ever had. I highly recommend working with her.

City dealer pricing - wouldn't match existing quote

Although he pays a lot of local media guys to do ads for him, don't believe the hype. Instead, shop around, you'll get a better deal. I sent them e-mail asking them to beat an existing quote and was told that the quote was impossible to beat (i.e. I must be making it up) - it wasn't impossible to beat, as some other local dealers (note the plural) subsequently beat the quote by over $100. Seems to be the usual St. Louis "city core" attitude, don't expect any reasonable pricing from them ...
