Terrible Experience, All That Makes You Feel Need For Shower w/Car Salesmen

by DeAllen on 05/13/2018

Everything that makes people NOT want to deal with salesmen. In their message system instead of answering 1 generic question they bug you for info...name/phone #/email. Went to them with legitimate low Mileage trade and was low-balled while they ignored flaws in used I was seeking....glove box door fell off, after-market stereo messed with functional, and THEY ACT like theirs was NEW! Go ANYWHERE ELSE!

Excellent Service

by jbrazzle on 10/13/2016

Outstanding service and I mean outstanding. Took my previous car in for service, mentioned I may be in the market for a new one. They let me pick out my desired vehicle and drive it while my car was being serviced. By the time my vehicle was ready for pick up, a trade in analysis was complete and the purchase docs for my new car were ready to sign. We conducted most of the business over the phone and the actual in showroom time was less than an hour. Give Jordan a call he will take care of you, for sure! Service department is phenomenal as well, you are always informed of the status of your vehicle and never caught of guard as to services performed or price. I've bought two vehicles from this dealer and will be back when the time comes.

Never Use Jim Butler Kia

by Walkerpup on 07/01/2016

Never use Jim Butler Kia! They are very manipulative and will quote how great of customer service they offer, when in reality, it is a blatant lie. After using bait and switch tactics and taking advantage of a first time car buyer (which we all know is very scary and nerve racking experience), they were ignorant and very rude when trying to handle the situation. I strongly recommend avoiding this company at all costs, so you to wont get scammed as I have.

No hassles but watch document fee.

by csandste on 07/19/2013

Had to buy a car, because my daughter needed my old one NOW to get to work. Accepted Edmunds price less a couple hundred but slipped me a $200 document fee. Normally I would have left but was under pressure, on the reverse there was a 10 oil change/coupon book that they gave me that they didn't disclose either. So I figure that's rougly a trade off although I normally wouldn't be driving 30 miles to the dealer for an oil change.

Salesman told me the car I was looking at was "mispriced" on the website

by jstncs on 04/29/2012

I am telling my story about a classic "bait and switch" that this dealership tried to pull on me when I went there to look at a car. I drove 20 miles to the dealership at 9 am on a Saturday morning to look at a car that they had advertised on their website for $7991. I drove the vehicle and then sat down with the salesman to negotiate an aggreeable price. I made a cash offer and the salesman flat out told me that he would not go to his manager with my offer. I said well then go get the best price for me. He went into the manager's office and was gone for about 20 minutes. I knew something was going on, but I just didn't know what. The salesman finally came back and said that the car had been "mispriced" on the website and that the real price of the car was $9999. The salesman told me that I was really saving "over $2000" by purchasing the vehicle "TODAY!". He then tried to convince me it was a steal at the price they had it listed for on the website(I disagreed with that!). The sales manager said it was just a "clerical error" and that I unfortunately was the one to find it. I felt like they were playing games with me at this dealership. I told the sales manager that they needed to fix their little "error", and he assured me that it had already been taken care of. When I arrived home, I logged into their website and the car was still listed at a price of $7991. I would not waste your time or gas in driving out to this dealership and cannot recommend doing business with these people.

Easy as pie

by jalberson on 04/23/2012

Went in after calling, test drove several cars, decided (finally after arguing with the wife) on the right color, and within forty five minutes was driving out with my new car. Andrew in Sales was easy to work with and never once did I feel pressured. I liked that he listened instead of trying to sell me the most expensive car. He also was great at following up with me. I was surprised how easy the whole thing went. I will for sure recommend Jim Butler Kias to all my friends and family.

There to make money to earn good business

by dankocke on 07/26/2011

Sure everyone's out to make a buck but this dealership goes above and beyond to try to get you. I did buy from them but now because I wanted to but because they had the car I wanted and they knew it. They will add all sorts of charges to the price and give a terrible trade value. I will never buy from them again.

Tried to Cheat Me...

by gold40 on 04/02/2011

The on-line sales person was responsive and cooperative (MEG). We had TENTATIVELY agreed upon a price, on-line. When I got to the dealership, the salesperson started out friendly, then tried to increase the price by $3,000 over the on-line quote. When I got angry, and started to leave, he and the sales manager THEN decided to honor the on-line price previously quoted. I ended buying the car, but suggest any BUYERS BEWARE! I has thought this type of sales chicanery was obsolete. I like my new KIA, but wouldn't trust the sales team at Jim Butler KIA. If you buy there, be very careful.
