Service experience at Mandal Buick

Spending a lot of money on autobutler and service agreements don't mean anything to their service people. Brought car in for regular oil change and service and get it washed thru the autobutler program that gives you unlimited car care. The service writer finally wandered out of the service bay to ask me what I needed. Did not greet me by name. They have one of those systems that reads some code on your car so they know who you are and what programs you have when you drive up. It is the service bay what did he think I needed. When I went back to pick it up they tried to charge me for the service. The cashier made me go back to the service writer and get him to fix that. When I went back to the cashier to get checked out AGAIN she gave me the key but did not tell me where I was to go or that I need to give my key to anyone. Was not sure if I was just supposed to wander around the place and find my car myself. Finally some lady who just happened to be walking across the service bay asked me what I needed AGAIN I said I needed my car. She took the key and 10 minutes later finally found my car and brought it around. It had not been cleaned. When I commented that it had not been cleaned she asked me if I had requested that. She took the car and ran it through the car wash, did not have it wiped off, did not clean the inside, did not vacuum it out. Just handed me the key and did not say anything. If I did not have a year left on my agreements I WOULD NOT GO BACK.

When purchasing my truck this was by far the best experience I ever had when it comes to purchasing a vehicle. The team at Mandal was excellent all the way from the salesman to the finance manager. I never felt pressured at any time during the process and they made sure to thoroughly explain everything throughout the entire process from beginning to end. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone.

The salesman I worked with was rude. I was a repeat customer interested in purchasing a third vehicle but after the way I was treated I will never buy another vehicle from Mandal again.
