If you value your car or anything inside your car, STAY AWAY
Written by iley on 06/16/2009
We are just moving to MN and took my wife's vehicle in for a check as the battery would not hold a charge. After picking the car up we dropped the car at our home and went shopping in my car. We took the packages into the house and realized we had forgotten some items and decided to take her car. When we got in the car and tried to close the garage door, the garage door opener was missing. Called the service department, which had closed and left a voicemail that told them someone had taken the opener. Next day get several calls asking me to call them back, call back, but they are not available. Finally get a hold of me about 7:30 and tell me they didn't take anything and that WE misplaced the opener. WRONG ANSWER---SOMEONE IN YOUR STORE STOLE MY OPENER. It is not a matter of cost, but of principle. "Why would ANYONE steal an opener?", that was what the manager asked. Because you have a thief in your store and what easier way is there to enter a home and steal things from the home than through the garage? Not going to waste a police officer's time with a $20 opener, but I will TELL EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. It is not all of them I realize that, but there is at least one and they aren't willing to look into that, they would rather claim that my wife or I misplaced it, my dogs picked it up and took it from the car, etc. We took our vehicle in because the manager indicated that it is common for things like this to fall between the seats and after they checked and couldn't find it, OH WELL, you must have lost it somewhere else. So the bottom line is this, they have a thief in their midst and since they aren't investigating THAT, they must condone the person's actions. In my book, walk like a duck, talk like a duck, you must be a duck...so if you condone the theivery, then you must also be either a thief or an accomplice. Either way, I don't want to do to business with you. I would rather drive to another state to get service than risk everything I have in my car to get it serviced close by.
