Best car delivery I have ever experienced

2019 Honda Civic EX

Steve Nowell (salesperson) was very professional and treated me with a lot of respect. Unlike other dealerships, he was not pushy and meticulously explained details about the car. He was very polite and was able to answer all of my questions and concerns regarding the car. I would recommend Steve Nowell as the go-to person if you are looking for a car at Tameroff Honda.

It is easy to see why Shameem Rahman is the top salesperson for Tamaroff Honda - year after year. Friendly, helpful and accommodating (and not at all high pressure), Shameem made purchasing my new vehicle a truly joyful experience, something I did not think was possible from a dealership. Above all, Shameem is a man of honesty and integrity - truly a man of his word. He did not hesitate to give me a quote by email. No time wasted haggling at the dealership. And he beat all the other "in person" quotes I received. Shameem listened to my needs and offered advice which, in the end, cost him but made me more comfortable. He truly cares about his customers. Shameem honored every commitment he made to me, and his follow up was impeccable. He responds to emails and phone calls in record time. Shameem made certain that I was entirely satisfied with my purchase long after I brought it home. He has gained a customer for life. FIVE HUGE GOLD STARS for Shameem Rahman and Tamaroff Honda.

They really care

I know going to a dealership is the last thing most of us want to do, but all my experiences with Tamaroff have turned out much better than expected. It's mostly because their team really has gone the extra mile to help me out of tight situations on more than one occasion - especially Shameem Rahman. Through job loss, going over mileage and more throughout the years I've always walked away with a good feeling and a reasonable payment. That's why after my first Honda in 2007 I worked with Shameem in 2009, 2011, 2014 and most recently today (2016). I felt compelled to write a review this time because several people at Tamaroff really stuck their necks out to help me out of my most difficult vehicle situation to date. I am just grateful that they went far above and beyond my expectations and showed appreciation for me being a loyal customer. When anyone tells me they are in the market for a new car, I always give them Shameem's card and will continue to do so because he listens and actually remembers every detail about what you said you like/dislike, what you can afford/can't afford, etc. and works his hardest to provide what you ask for, or the closest thing to it.

They don't care once you are out

I was sold extended warranty which I returned within two weeks but after four months and tons of reminder emails and calls still I have no clue whenthe dealership is going to pay thw money back. Every time you call either Mr. Jeff Rubin don't attend and if you go to them he will definitely has some excuse. Not sure who can help me on this. Really frustrating.

Arrogant Sales consultant Shameem, no respect to customers

Things can happen wrong once, but not every time...... Went to dealer in March of 2014 to buy a Honda car. We were looking for a Sedan in the likes of Civic\Accord. The prices that we were looking for did not materialize. So we told the Sales consultant "Shameem" that at current prices we cannot afford the car. He asked us what our price point was.We gave our number. At this point of time, if the numbers don't work, he could simply say the deal does not work out. Our gentlemen Mr Shameem says "Are you out of your mind? " This is the kind of respect that Mr Shameem gives to its customers. Don't ever buy a car from Tamroff Honda or Nissan. If at all you need to go, book an appointment with some other sales consultant. After a couple of weeks, we went to Suburban Honda and got a good deal. They give respect to the customers, at least listen and workout a plan. We bought a Accord. While closing the deal,I told their manager that we went to Tamroff as well. The first question he asks is "Did you work with Shameem?" not Mark or Sean or somebody else Apparently his arrogance and indifference to customers is so widely know. After 4 months I met with another family friend who brought a Honda car, and the first discussion that comes out is how bad is Shameem\Tamroff. They are notorious for their behavior. Well did i learn my lesson, not yet :-) :-( In Feb 2015 we wanted a second car and had a deal at Tamroff Nissan. Oh god the deal was good, but my call was routed to Mr Shameem. :-(( Nothing wrong to give a second chance(3rd chance,considering my friends experience as well) Mr Shameem calls 3 times in the day and gives us an appointment. We told him the choices we were looking for. He comes at his own time 15 minutes after our scheduled appointment time. We inquire about the car we talked earlier in the day. He says the car is already sold out. When we asked why couldn't he inform us earlier. He says it is not his responsibility if a car is sold out. But did we not discuss about this car when we made this appointment?? Had he had the minimum courtesy to at least inform us that car is sold, we would not made a 20 mile trip for nothing. There was another car as well we wanted to see, apparently that car too was sold out. And a similar car would cost us 600 additional dollars, all they were interested is to rob money from us for buying the same car. The manager Mr Mark at Nissan as well was not kind enough. Now i understand why people like Shameem work at Tamroff who don't have bare minimum courtesy, all they know is arrogant behavior, no punctuality. This word still haunts me "Are you out of your mind" when all i said was that I cannot afford the car at that price. This ends my lengthy story, i gave myself 3 chances to buy a car at Tamaroff and all end up is feeling bad why did i go to Tamaroff. I don't say everybody is bad, but three bad experiences speak for themselves.

Hustled by salespeople

We were hustled by the salespeople, who changed the price of the car in the contract after we agreed on the price. Unfortuanately, we could not back oout of the contract. These guys are [non-permissible content removed]. Avoid them at all cost!

JUST DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE, BUY AT ANOTHER DEALER

The Manager started off professional. We made an appointment to come in on Saturday. We had our financing all setup. All we needed to do was come in, test, drive the car, get a price for our trade in, sign the paperwork and get out of there. 3 hours maybe, right? We drove in from Grand Rapids and were there at 10:00. We were introduced to a sales guy who didn't know anything about the car we were buying. He seemed bothered that we were even there. Was very rude and basically very unprofessional. We took the car for a test drive; they sent a 3rd guy with us who knew nothing about the car at all. When we got back to the dealer we waited round about 45 min for the sales guy to get back. He again just seemed confused about what he was even doing. He was really only there so that he could be placed between the manager and us so they could play the used car "I gotta go talk to the manager game". We finally agreed on a price for the car and the trade in, they went to detail our new car, and we again were just left sitting for another hour while Mel disappeared. I finally went to go find him talking to one of the new car sales guys about football. When he saw me coming he then pretended to be working his way back to us just to tell us to wait in another waiting room. The financing office was fine, they did a good job. When our new car came back we noticed a cargo net was missing and the sunglass holder had been ripped out. The manager clamed he had ordered the part, and he would send it to us. I said, good, just throw it in the back. He then admitted he had to wait for the part to come in. They brought another sales guy over that said to us... "You're buying a used car!" He said, why would you guys expect all the parts to be here? Really, I thought we were buying a Certified Nissan? After the sale there was no follow-up. After almost 6 hours we finally drove away with the new car but due to the issues just didn't feel good at all about the car or the experience. I noticed the next day the lift gate strut was bent. When I called they treated me like we did it. They clamed that they would have caught it in the inspection. I sent pictures like I was ask, no follow-up call. I called and they said they would check with the parts department, No call back. I finally just bought the part myself. Basically this dealer doesn't care about customers at all. I would never buy a used or new car at Tamaroff again. They only want your money and do not care about you during or after the sale. The sales staff have almost no customer service skills, all seem to have attitudes, are rude, and do not follow-up because they just don't care about you. If you see a car you like at Tamaroff, wait to find another on Autotrader at another dealership. There are many very good ones out there. If Tamaroff would have done anything that they said they would after the sale,(besides send me parts to install) I would have never taken my time to warn others about Tamaroff.

I bought a certified honda civic from these guys....gave me a great deal and a great car. Mel in the used cars sales is highly professional, courteous and efficient. Delivered what he promised on time!! I didn't have a single problem all the way....Keep it up guys!!!

Great experience at Tamaroff Honda dealership! My salesman, Mel, should be Salesman of the Year! He was sincere, patient and trustworthy. Mel even stayed overtime for me to look at a car a second and third time. My 2009 Honda is great!

probably would be the worst dealer in united states

the worst dealer i have ever seen..!! they simply do not care for customers..! you will not get any return calls nor you will get prompt service from them. i kept on calling them almost everyday but never received a call back. even after a month they are still saying that they are trying hard to find the car..!! (i was going for brand new civic)..ridiculous answers are what they all give..! i dont think honda has stopped producing the cars! worst experience..! would recommend anyone not to deal with these guys! i am sure, they will be out of business soon if they continue to treat customers like beggers! they should always remember that they are in business because of customers and customers are not dependent on them!
