BEST CAR SALES experience I had

by elmatatan on 02/13/2017

I was looking for a specific 2016 Infiniti Qx60 . They had it, the problem, I am in NY they are in MA. We agreed on the price over the phone. Mike, the sales manager was professional, gave me a good price. Drove to inspect the car, but the car needed minor cosmetic repairs, so I figured the deal was dead. However, they offered to fix the issues and have someone deliver the car back to me in NY. Over all it was a great car SALES experience, the best I had. However, no one is perfect. Although they provided a new oil change, however; the service department inspection prior to selling the car missed an issue with this SUV rear hatch and a missing 2nd key fob. They resolved both with no hassle. It delayed the process by two days, but they made it up with GREAT SERVICES and delivering the car from MA to NY to close the deal.. THANK YOU GUY, fleet manager.... That's a new meaning to 'Going the 'EXTRA MILESSSSSS' to close the deal.

Stay Away

by jfulginiti on 11/14/2014

When we met with the sales associate, we spoke with him AT LENGTH regarding my need for a car that would be good in the snow. When he asked me what was the most important thing I was looking for, I said that it had to have AWD and drive well in the snow. I am an essential hospital employee and have to commute to work regardless of road conditions. I also live on an extremely steep hill and had trouble getting home during winter weather in my previous vehicle. We came to the dealership looking for a Juke SV AWD because we had read about its ability to drive in winter weather. There were no Juke SVs on the lot, so the sales associate showed me a Juke Nismo, which seemed to meet all of my needs. I liked the upgraded features of the Nismo, but asked for verification that it had AWD and would be good in the snow. I was assured that it was. Because of this, I purchased the Nismo and drove it home on November 1st. Upon reading the manual and specifications of my car at home, I realized that the Nismo comes equipped with summer tires. I was not familiar with summer tires, so I decided to do some research. I read online that summer tires were not suitable for winter driving. I promptly called and emailed the dealership to get more information. When I finally received a call back, the sales associate assured me that the summer tires would be perfectly safe in the snow. He said that they sold many Nismos last year and didn't receive a single complaint about winter driving. I asked him to verify this because I am currently 33 weeks pregnant and do not want to put me or my child in any danger. He reiterated that the car would be safe with the tires that are on it. I decided to do more research. First, I called the tire manufacturer, Continental. They told me that summer tires ARE NOT safe to drive in the winter, and that they shouldn't even be on the car when the temperature dips below 45 degrees due to the rubber compound. They said that I would have trouble even driving in a straight line in snow or ice. I then called three other area Nissan dealerships who confirmed this exact statement. Finally, I called the service department at Milford Nissan without revealing my identity. Even they agreed that the tires were unsafe in the winter. I called the sales associate and presented him with this information. At first, he profusely apologized and said he had "no idea" the tires were summer tires. He said he would have to call me back. When he did, he said that he spoke with his manager and because my car had AWD, the summer tires would be fine in the winter. This is simply untrue. He said that the other dealerships were misinforming me because they are Milford Nissan's competitors (even though I didn't tell the other dealerships why I was calling). He again assured me that the car and tires would be safe for me and my baby in the winter. We met with the general manager this weekend who 100% agreed with the sales associate. I had no other option but to spend almost $1000 on all-season tires (not from Nissan) in order to keep my family safe in spite of what I was being told. I am afraid for the other families who may have bought a Juke Nismo from this dealership not aware of the summer tires. This type of misinformation could lead to injury and death.

Customer Service Professionals

by 280zthuziest on 11/13/2013

I recently purchased a new Rogue AWD and the whole experience was straight forward and courteous from start to finish. Guy, my salesman, and Bob, the sales manager, were polite, attentive and helped me pick out the right Rogue for my needs. A great price and the 1st year free service made it easy for me to say yes, then they got it cleaned and ready while I did the paperwork with Jim W. Guy was very thorough in showing me how everything worked, all in all just a terrific experience. I have already recommended him to a work colleague.

Milford Nissan a joy to do business with!

by destane45 on 06/22/2013

After having a horrible experience at another dealer, I went to Milford. They treated me like a valued customer. The car was 2000.00 cheaper here and they never tried to bully or push any of the extended warranties on me. They went way out of their way to get the car I wanted from another dealer. Perfect experience.

Just be careful

by sptb on 01/26/2013

Seemed like decent guys. But they didn't honor their '1st year maintenance included' for the 12 month service. When it came time for that last service which was supposed to include a brake fluid change (yeah, it's in the service manual), all of a sudden, their tune changed to 'only 1st 4 oil changes and tire rotations'... At purchase time, I did ask for the detailed list of what's included in 1st year service and they had assured me it was everything in the service manual. Now the sales manager says for me to point to where it says that in the contract. Now thinking back, their 1st version of my sales contract had come back 'missing' the trade-in value. Normally I would've taken that as a red flag and walked away, but based on how professionally they were treating me, I counted it to them as an honest error. I guess should've counted that as a shady tactic, that's in line with their behavior 1yr later. I got a good price, but be careful with IOUs and tricks.
