Keep it Up Boys!!!

After My last purchase from this dealership I never would have gone back except the service department was excellent. So while I was in I figured I would inquire about refinancing my loan, and so it began. I met Billy and knew this time would be different. Billy is NOT a car-salesman, he is so much more! He was friendly, informative and totally non-pressure he was there merely to show me what options I had, and he did just that… Billy kindly showed my wife and I a New 2013 Altima 3.5 SV (a newer version of what we had, which we promptly test drove. Long story short, this particular vehicle hit the criteria for all the things I would want, if in the market for a new car- minus leather and heated seats… Billy (and his manager Vlad) and I were able to come to an agreeable price, (agree to add the leather and heated seats) and the deal was made. After waiting over an hour for the Finance Guy, I began to get aggravated and started to complain, finally remembering the "Old Colonial"…. MAN WAS I WRONG!!! Upon meeting Jason, Billy let me know he was calling my old warranty companies and getting me refunds, and that was what was taking him the extra time… (I MEAN WITHOUT ME ASKING THIS GUY WAS TRYING TO RECOVER MY MONEY FROM A PURCHASE THAT WAS MADE 3 YEARS AGO)… upon learning that my wait had gained me over $1,100 I instantly calmed down and went from angry to appreciative. When I got into his Office, I just knew that he was different- HE GAVE A CRAP, let me and my wife know our options, and in doing so began to explain some of the change that had gone on in this store over the last 8 months… New Management, New Sales Staff- AND MAN WHAT A DIFFERNCE! Not one was just claiming, but one that I could see, and more importantly FEEL! After about 45 minutes Jason B. had given me $1,100 I did not know we were entitled too, saved over 2 points in interest, and lowered my car payment (on a 2010 Altima 3.5 SR) from $577 to $479 (on a Brand New 2013 Altima 3.5 SV). My wife Marilyn and I couldn't be happier with our new car (that's right we took it home the same day)! I am still in Shock with how unbelievable this dealership is!!! We are now not only a loyal colonial service customers, but we are also Proud to say that we already agreed, we will never Shop at another Dealership. I cannot tell you how comforted I am to be like other friends of mine who have "their Car Guys", because We Now Have OURS! Thanks Billy, Vlad and Jason… You have made us HAPPY LOYAL CUSTOMERS FOR ALL OF OUR VEHICLE NEEDS! As I said in the title of this review… Keep up the good work boys! We are excited to see how great this place is after a year if this is what you guys were able to do in 8 months!!! - Walton & Marilyn

Wonderful Experience!

I initially began researching car makes and models online, having a fairly good idea of what I wanted. In order to get any information from dealers, I found I had to submit contact information—a largely miserable experience, with one outstanding exception, Colonial Nissan of Medford. By and large, other dealerships emailed and phoned to the point where I felt hounded, and seldom did they provide any specific information, which was the ONLY thing I was interested in at that point. One salesperson even went so far as to leave a message that she had exactly the make, model, and color I wanted, only to tell my husband when he called back that the vehicle I wanted had been sold several weeks earlier, but perhaps she could interest me in something else? Neither of us were pleased to have someone waste our time. To make a long story short, Colonial Nissan was the only dealer who actually sent out informative emails containing model information and prices (unlike those from other dealers, who just encouraged us to visit), nor did they harass us with daily phone calls (they, in fact, didn't call once), nor did they claim to have just what we wanted, only to advise us later that we would have to "settle" for something entirely different, and if we didn't and wanted to keep on looking, good luck (with a ha-ha undertone) finding what we wanted! When we were close to the point of buying, Colonial seemed to have the largest inventory of the model we wanted, even though we knew ahead of time they didn't have exactly the specs we hoped for. As we walked around the lot, we were approached by one of their salespeople, Al Abramson, in a helpful but low-key manner. He was relaxed, humorous, and not at all pushy. In a surprisingly short amount of time, we ended up purchasing a vehicle that, although not precisely what we hoped for, was close enough. I have to say that this is the only time in my life I have actually enjoyed buying a car. My husband and I would recommend Colonial Nissan—their Internet Sales Team as well as their on-site staff—to anyone. We had a great experience there!

The Best Buying Experience EVER!!

I am a single woman going to a dealership to buy a new car (you know how scary that can be!!!)...I cannot tell you what a wonderful experience it was at Colonial in Medford. I spoke to James on the phone, he was attentive and actually listened to what I was saying, I told him I was on my way there. He told me someone would be waiting for me and they WERE! Larry my salesperson was waiting and aware of what I was looking to purchase. I am so impressed with the dealership, the sales staff, the administrative staff and the way they all take care of their business. I was in the car I was looking to buy in less than 10 minutes. Took it for a spin. Happy with my choice. Told Larry the color I wanted and it was available. They gave me a super price on my trade in, a super price on the car I wanted, I was in and out of the dealership driving away in my NEW car in less than 45 minutes!! Can you imagine that, signed sealed and delivered in less than one hour. It doesn't get better than that! I HIGHLY recommend this dealership. I have dealt with others and they all pale by comparison. Ask for James. Ask for larry. You will be very happy you did.

A real bad start

Today, we wanted to get a feel about a Nissan Cube for my wife. We're not in a hurry to buy. We went to this dealer, located the car we were looking at. First sales guy approached us, barely said hello, and asked straight away if we were going to buy today. I frowned and said "NO". He walked away. Huh? Ok, we waited for another one to show up. The guy seemed more polite, but peppered us with questions. I clarified we weren't going to buy today and just wanted to get a feel by test-driving it. He kept pushing, lying straight to my face in the process about the 2009 prices vs 2010 prices. I started to become annoyed, and made quite clear that we didn't want to be pushed and just wanted a test drive. He said he'd back in a minute. And stood us up with me holding my driver's license that he didn't even take. I'm reasonably patient but here I was fuming. We walked away after 10 minutes... I mean, how do those guys sell a single car with such attitude. We went to Kia nearby, were met by a very courteous fellow, and proceeded to test-driving in a very easy manner...
