Terrific Salesperson Made the Difference

The one sales review of Ken Dixon Honda on this site made me skeptical, but I decided to give it a try anyway. I was desperately looking for a manual Honda Civic in September (not black, white or gray) and having absolutely no luck. When I called Ken Dixon Honda, I got Stormy Workman on the phone and she listened to what I wanted in a new car. She said what every other dealer had said: a manual Civic in other than a generic color was going to be very difficult to find. Then she asked me what no other salesperson had asked: if I had considered a Honda Fit. I said no, since I had no idea what a Honda "Fit" was! As we talked, I looked at the car online and decided I was interested. At the time, I was driving a 2005 Mini Cooper and she thought the Sport version of the Honda Fit might work for me. She was right. I talked to a lot of Honda dealers in my search for a car. It was not a casual search, as I had definitely decided to buy a car more reliable than a Mini Cooper. I also wanted to get a car in September to take advantage of 0.9% financing. I even test drove a black manual Honda Civic and was reluctantly thinking about an Accord before talking to Stormy. Out of all the salespeople at all the dealerships I talked to, Stormy Workman is the only one who suggested a Honda Fit as an alternative to the Civic. Amazing, but true. She was interested in getting my business and in finding the right car for my needs. Because of her, I am the happy driver of a Honda Fit today. Of course, once I had decided on the Honda Fit, that was the beginning of the sales process. We needed to negotiate a fair trade-in for my car and she needed to find a Honda Fit in Blue Sensation Pearl since teh dealership did not have one in stock. It took some research, but she found one. Then I needed to be comfortable with the final sales price. Throughout the entire process, she kept her word and really worked hard on my behalf. She even stayed past closing time on the evening I picked up my car so that I could test drive the car and complete the financing. In conclusion, I thought Stormy Workman was one of the best salespeople I have ever worked with. Buying a car with her was surprisingly unstressful. I would definitely purchase another car from her again.
