Went there to check out a Demo we were quoted a price on. When we got there, that car wasn't there...and the guy we talked to wasn't there either (how convenient). Of course, the sales manager we dealt with tried to tell me that he didn't know why I was so angry because they would sell me a brand new car for the same cost. When they worked up the deal, they just took the couple thousand they were saving me on the cost of the new car and deducted that from what they were going to give me for my trade in. Pretty tricky, huh? So it really wasn't the same deal, was it? The car's price was fine...but I'd have to be nuts to take that for my trade in! They treated it as though it fell into the "fair" category and it was practically like new! Thank heavens for sights like Edmunds so that you can go in to a dealership with a little bit of knowledge and not be totally blindsighted by these guys who seem to be trained in timing...there must be some kind of research they've gotten for making people wait around...making you become antsy and to coax you to make dumb decisions just to get out the door. I don't think I've ever been so angry. I resent being manipulated and treated as though I'm stupid. Needless to say, we won't be buying anything from this dealership.
