I have to give my full appreciation to the body shop at Sheehy Ford at 901 N Frederick Ave in Gaithersburg. I had in the past only good and satisfying experiences in the body shop as well as the repair shop. But today Erica delivered excellent customer service. About two years ago I had my focus in for body work after being rear-ended. In the process the body shop replaced an expensive Thule bike rack. I had some defect issues with the bike rack and Thule agreed to replace the parts for free if I can produce the receipt. Erica, at the body shop was not only supper friendly, but took her time to search in several places for the actual receipt for the purchase, eventually going back to paper files and found the receipt. Thank you Erica for dropping what you were working on to provide superb customer service.

An Extremely Smooth Experience

My car was involved in a collision with a semi-truck. It needed a lot of body work. I purchased the car at Sheehy Ford and wanted it to be repaired there and I wasn't disappointed. Erica Betri, the Body Shop Mgr. did a fabulous job in coordinating the Insurance claims, the Rental Car and of course, the body work on the car, a ruby-red 2019 Ford Fusion-Hybrid. New plates had arrived at the dealership for the car and they even put these on for me before returning the car. This is the only place I would take my car, or purchase another.

From my first phone call to Erica, who is in charge of the Body Shop to the time my car was ready, the service was wonderful. Erica is friendly and caring. She answered my many questions patiently and reassured me every step along the way. I truly enjoyed working with Erica. She is well-informed and makes the customer feel very confident that all will be done properly and I am happy to say all work was accomplished well and in a timely manner. Thank you Erica!!

From drop off to pickup, everything went very smoothly. You would never know that my car was hit / scraped by an 18 wheeler. Erica kept me informed and was always there to answer my questions. I was very pleased with the outcome. Would highly recommend the body shop for car repairs.

Bumper Car

Got rear-ended and needed bumper replaced so took my vehicle back to where it was purchased. Body Shop Estimator, Erica, able to provide an estimate to me in about 10 minutes and then she forwarded to my insurance company claim adjustor. Extra damage discovered after bumper removed and Erica worked with insurance company to have the increased damage total covered. She kept me apprised of what was happening. Repairs look good and Erica called when vehicle was finished. Surprisingly, easy process.

Fantastic repair work

Took my F250 back to the selling dealership, Sheehy Gaithersburg, after being in a wreck. They were extremely responsive and helpful. Entire right side bed panel, right rear spring, exhaust, tailgate, ect had to be replaced or repaired. Extremely professional and accomidating. Had some issues getting a couple of parts, through no fault of their own, due to the pandemic and shipping but were on top of it every step of they way. They even provided me with a loaner when my insurance company rental ran out. Couldn't be happier with the worked performed and the end result. Great job Kevin, Erica, the body shop team, Holly and the entire Gaithersburg team

Consistently great service

In 2014 I bought a brand new car. Sheehy searched their inventory at other locations to find me the car I wanted with the desired specs. They also offer excellent protection programs that, unlike other dealers, are actually of value such as The VIP Program. Six years later and my experience has still been great. I've had to repairs done in the body shop twice and both times it went well. Erica B. was knowledgeable and kept me apprised of the insurance status and repair. The car looked new when done. Tanner has provided consistently great service for regular maintenance. A+
Terrible

There just isn’t a low enough rating to give these people. The sales process was fine and my salesman was great. But they forgot to transfer my insurance over which caused the MVA to put red flag on my license, which I had to fix myself. It’s been a year later and now I’m finding out my cars tag and title don’t match. I paid Sheehy Ford for that tag/title/reg so again they dropped the ball twice now and I’m going to be driving around on expired tags because of their failures. The service department is hit or miss as well. It depends who you get. They refused to honor the warranty when my mustang started making terrible noises. I paid them 500$ to install an exhaust which was crooked, when I brought it back for them to straighten they claimed I must have something(no evidence of that whatsoever). Even then they failed to straighten it out, so I took it elsewhere and in 30 minutes it looked perfect. All in all I would avoid this dealership at all costs. They can’t seem to get anything right.

2014 Ford Explorer brought in following accident at the close of business on a Thursday night. Kevin and his team were super professional from beginning to end. Excellent communication re insurance adjuster visit and afterwards. Great coordination with service department. Despite it being the holidays, Kevin made sure the work was done as quickly as possible and had the car all set to go on NewYear’s Eve.

My Damaged Escape.

My Escape was damaged by another driver so I can't say if the price was fair as the other insurance company paid for the repair. I assume it was since the other company authorized repairs. Kevin and Erika in body shop kept me up to date and I picked up my vehicle as promised.
