Moffitt Mazda are [non-permissible content removed]

by Moffitt on 10/16/2018

I bought aCX5 Touring for $27,598. in June of 2018. . Traded in a 2011 Mazda Grand Touring with 40,0000, they gave me $10,000.00 trade in. They told me I qualified for 0% interest loan. I signed all the paper work shoved in my face. (Big Mistake). Told me their printer was down and would send paperwork to me in the mail. A month later I got some paperwork from Mazda Capital Services showing my monthly notes. I called them to find out how much the balance was on the loan. Shock of all shocks I owed $27598.46. They gave me $0.00 for my Miata. BEWARE OF THESE [non-permissible content removed]

There are no words great enough to discribe how absolutely amazing every single Moffitt Mazda employee has been to me during my process. They definitely went above and beyond my expectations and I can't be more happy with everything they did for me. Outstanding service to go along with an outstanding vehicle.

we had a test drive with an older salesman, he was straightforward and very sensible. After testing the competition we returned the same day to buy. The whole process was painless well managed and professional.

Waited 4 months for a zeal red Mazda CX9 to be delivered to dealership. During this period the salesperson would give me updates on the car that were wrong. Finally the CX9 was delivered. I was expecting a new car fresh off the boat. Car was from another dealership with over 200 miles on it. Tried to make a deal but car was overpriced. I went to the Toyota dealership and got a good deal on a 2013 Highlander. This Mazda dealership has not updated their showroom in 30 years. In the customer waiting area there is old broken furniture. Not a pleasent experience.

It's only ethics

I will not be dealing with this dealership again. Purchased a 2010 Jetta after dealership finally agreed to trade-in for 2007 Jeep Commander. When questioned about $800.00 credit on paperwork, salesperson gave no clear explanation and suggested it would make the trade-in appear more favorable, only to call two weeks later to say it was an agreed on down payment. There was never any agreement on down payment. After the dealership threatened to report non-payment to my finance company, I paid the $800.00. The credit was listed as 'Cash on Order.' I didn't order the vehicle. Why wasn't the credit clearly listed as 'Down Payment?' Loan officer even double checked with dealership for 'total amount owed.' Why didn't they include the $800.00 at that time since it had not actually be paid? Why didn't they collect the $800.00 when it was asked about at the signing? Maybe to wait until the new vehicle was two weeks old so they could refuse to take it back? When asked why the wait, salesperson said she forgot. Yea, it was on paper. Yea, I signed it. And yea, as far as I am concerned, it was misrepresented. Lesson learned. Not worth getting unfavorable remarks on credit records. If you deal with this dealer, don't go by what the salesperson says, make sure you know what the charges really mean.
