Pros: The car we bought was a used car, and once it was finished getting worked on it was in very good shape. Cons: The head used car guy is [non-permissible content removed] (I think his name is Hugh, but can't quite remember). I went in originally to look at a used car. I was told that it was just taken in and would need to be serviced. I said that was fine, contact me when it was serviced. I asked for an ETA. They said a few days. I said ok. A few days later, the car was still not ready. They said, "we're getting a lot of traction on this one", etc. They were pressuring me to go ahead and buy it, even though it needed work. This was under the promise that they would fix everything. My wife caved and we bought the car with the promise of fixing it. We waited a few days for our new-used car to be fixed but to no avail. They took several days to fix our car that we bought, lying to us in the meantime telling us that it would be ready. They did this at least 3 times during the duration of our meetings. The tech that was working on it was very rude to me once, and I complained to the used car manager, who actually said, "I'm going to have to go back there and straighten them out." The used car manager kept saying it would be ready, fed me lines, and the tech was useless in helping. I caught the used car manager in several lies about the time the car would be ready, saying he had ordered parts that hadn't been ordered yet. The rude tech had told on the used car manager to me: everyone was trying to pass the blame! Once I finally got my car back, one of the plastic hub caps was cracked, and another nearly rolled off while my wife was driving it on the interstate. Her grandpa, who was driving behind her, called her and told her to pull over. he tightened it up and they drove home. Everything with it seemed fine for a few weeks until I realized one day that they had never put back the transmission fluid dip stick! I called and complained, and told them I wanted the fluid flushed and the job redone, and that i wanted the indiana store to do it. They said OK, and the indiana store fixed the issue. We had driven the car for a few months with no issues and we were very pleased with it. We still are, actually. But one issue arose that made me write this review. The techs forgot to tighten down the bolts holding on the front brakes! This could have potentially deadly consequences, because if the caliper housing ever came completely loose and the brake line busted, we would have no brakes to stop our vehicle. What happened was whenever the techs went to put on new brakes, they didn't tighten down the top housing bolt. So i spent 5 days waiting for parts to arrive from a different honda dealer while my car sat undrivable. I fixed the issue myself. I will never, EVER take a car to these guys again or do business with them again. I imagine for new cars it's probably not this way: i suspect that the $50,000 acuras in their lot are taking priority over my lowly $15,000 used car. The problem with this philosophy is that I'm still young and will one day buy more cars.

Well worth driving out of state!

Our salesman Matthew made our first experience at this dealership just amazing. Being out of state, it was handled flawlessly over the phone and he picked up the phone no matter what he was doing. He really bent over backwards making us a great deal on our RDX and an easy transaction. Everyone is so friendly and down to earth. Well worth the trip!

RDX Purchase

I recently purchase a 2016 Certified Used RDX from Neil Huffman Acura at Oxmoor. I hadn't planned on purchasing a car for another four months but my 2006 Acura TL (with 262,000 miles on it) had other plans. I called my sales rep, Michael Stack, and let him know what I was looking for and if he found anything close to let me know. The same day he sent me a photo and stats on the RDX. I went to the dealership that day to drive the car and fell in love with it instantly. Michael ran the numbers and gave me a couple of options to fit within my budget. I decided to sleep on it overnight but went back the next day to purchase the car. Michael made the process very easy and effortless for me which was comforting because I was going through a family emergency at the time. This is my second Acura and I would highly recommend Neil Huffman Acura at Oxmoor to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle. I drive my cars to death (literally) and Acura cars are durable and will last forever if you keep up with the maintenance. Thanks for making my car buying experience phenomenal!

Two Thumbs Way Way Up

I just recently got financing for a new car (2015 Nissan Versa) with just twelve hundred down and low monthly payments. It's kinda important to me because I don't make very much and they were more than willing to work with me so they could get me on the road again. I don't have any credit at all, but they managed to overlook this and still got me set up (in a very nice car) and with a helpful friendly demeanor too! Also, the lifetime warranty and maintenance contract was a bonus. I just have to bring it in and they'll tune it up and repair! Lovely all around. I would only say it if I meant it.

Great Car, Not too Great Customer Services

I purchased a wonderful Acura TL from this dealership in December 2014. I'd done extensive research on the Acura and was very happy that the one I wanted was available at this dealership. (saw it online) Because I live in TN, the tax for the vehicle would have to be paid at a later time. This was not an issue as I was aware that KY did not include the tax for TN in their sales. My problem stemmed for lack of great customer service. The information needed to register my car was slow in coming. I called repeatedly to inquire on the status and most times the calls were not returned after leaving a voicemail. Also, the temporary tag I was issued and the wrong year on it and someone at the dealership tried to correct the mistake with a sharpie pen. Needless to say, I was stopped by the police and asked if I had tampered with date of the tag. After calling repeatedly, I was finally transfer to someone who stated that the paperwork for my registration would be overnighted to me. Although, the car itself is really great, I would not recommend this dealership for their lack of customer service.

Very Pleased

We just purchased our 3rd vehicle from Acuara at Oxmoor and as in the two previous experiences dating back to 2006 we feel we were treated fairly and courteously. Our salesperson, Victor, was especially helpful, patient, friendly and did not pressure us in any way. We had done our homework on the value of our trade in versus the dealer prices and that information helped us arrive at what we felt was a fair deal. We are happy with our new MDX so far and would recommend Acura at Oxmoor to anyone interested in the Acura line of vehicles.

Excellent experience all around

I just leased out a 2014 TSX and love my new car. The experience and environment at Acura at Oxmoor was fantastic. Arthur was honest and insightful and Michael got my in and out of finance quickly. No complaints! Thanks guys!

Old fashion, playing games, not listening.

I had called ahead and asked for a quote in writing as they had serviced my car 2 days before and new all of its history. When I got there they had nothing. Offered me $6,000.00 on an ACURA 2008 TL as a trade in on a TL 2013. Asked to see original invoice, would not show it. Played the old game of have to ask the higher up guy who is a real arrogant individual. Took 28 minutes and left with nothing in writing. I had previously gone to CARMAX and they offered me $11,000.00 out right cash good for 7 days at any of their locations nationwide. In 18 minutes gave me a written quote detailing the defficiencies of my car. They did not miss anything. This is the future of car dealing. Not these dinosaurs at Oxmoor. My car did have 104K miles and $2000.00 body damage. Otherwise both offers would ahave been $2,000. higher. Jim Gardner PCIM

Great Dealer

I have purchased 3 Acura's from this dealer and have had a very good experience with them. Nick Dampier has been my salesman and is a very professional sales person who is well versed in the Acura model. He will go above and beyond to help you make your decision. The finance process was also very easy and nothing was pushed on me at any time. The only thing I feel is a little off is the Document fee of $499. That just seems a little high to me. I don't mind paying a couple of hundred dollars but there is a limit.
