Great experience

onTaking my vehicle to Honda World for service was a great experience. From the minute I arrived it was positive. The service writer was friendly and precise. The mechanic who I was able to watch the whole time he was servicing my vehicle was top notch. You could tell he was good at his job and he meticulously performed every aspect of the job.

excessive charge

onOn August 26, 2020, I referred my Honda CRV 2005 for a very little oil leakage to the louisville honda world dealer(only one or two drops on the ground). They inspected and found two spots related for leakage (valve cover gasket and power steering wheel hose)and charged me for about $530. Next day my car still had oil leakage even more and worse. Therefore, I returned my car back and this time they found another spot related to the oil pressure switch at the top of solenoid valve. Thus, they replaced and charged me again about $135. I strongly believe that leakage was related only to the solenoid valve gasket area and just sprinkled around the engine and hoses that had been found as two leakage spot because there wasn’t any change on power steering fluid reservoir level. I am completely unsatisfied with this service because they charged me unnecessarily and my experience was truly exceptional but on the negative side.

Treated terribly

onI negotiated on my used van in good faith and found the paperwork I signed had the wrong VIN early the next morning. I brought the title and extra key for my trade-in with me to straighten out the problem immediately. The van I took home was a more expensive van than the van with the VIN on my paperwork ($1-4K more). After waiting too long, the manager Mike Munoz came in and proceeded to treat me like I was the one who had done something wrong, threatening twice that if I left with the van I thought I purchased that he would have no option but to call the police on me. I don’t believe he would have ever have spoken to a man the way he spoke to me, especially since I did everything right. I may be an old lady, but I certainly did not deserve to be treated the way he treated me. I was willing to negotiate a different deal until he decided to treat me like a thief. Even though the dealership ended up honoring the deal later in the day, it was an unforgivable ordeal that I should never have had to suffer through. While the $50 gift card to O’Charley’s they gave me was appreciated, it didn’t start to substitute for an apology from Mike Munoz, who I didn’t see again. I will never do business with this dealership again and I am telling everyone I can about my bad experience.

Oil change & Leaky Tire

onThe professionalism of Honda World employeesis top notch. I really felt like they were knowledgeable, honest, happy to help, and really centered around giving the customer a topnotch experience. The communication between the service rep and me happened throughout the time I was there. I know it’s jyst an oil change and leaky tire, but she made sure there weren’t any surprises in the bill by authorizing with me any solution to a problem that was found. They just didn’t fix the tire without me being informed of what the problem was. They have a great setup there, and they are very busy with repeat business. I know the service was done right.

onWorking as a "Team" - Debra Judd (Service Advisor), David Breitenstein (Lead Mechanic), and Dale Greathouse (Service Manager) solved a problem with my 2017 Ridgeline squeaky driver's seat. At this time, Honda Corp. had no warranty solution to offer, but these folks continued to listen to me, think, and provide a solution that resolved the problem! I have always had this type of professional effort from this service department. Their #1 goal is customer satisfaction.

onI drove in at noon for a preventive maintenance and Kathy told me there were 19 cars ahead of me, but she would still be happy to take care of mine. She put me in another car for the day which was wonderful. When I returned that evening my car was like new and the cost was exactly as estimated. Kathys friendliness and proactive response to the time delay made the whole experience exceptionally enjoyable.

Honda CR-V from Honda World of Louisville

onI drive high mileage in my job (30K+ per year) so I was looking for a car that would be good for me and would also be good for my wife when she inherited it at the end of its work life with me. I was moving up from a smaller sedan and was seriously considering the compact SUV lines of various car makes. The Honda CR-V was appealing to me given the need for reliability and all of the high reviews it gets in this area. I went with the EX-L line as I did like the comfort features that this line afforded. With all the miles amassed in a four year period, I felt that comfort was as important as utilitarian transportation functionality. Ryan Anderson was my salesperson at Honda World. He took my wife and I through the sales process in an comfortable manner. He helped the process by highlighting some of the CR-V features, dealership and service functionalities to make life easy for me as well as described the programs that they have to help take care of my CR-V over the long haul. I came in looking to be able tp purchase a vehicle, having pretty much placed other car makes in a distant second spot, and Honda World and Ryan Anderson were able to make the right combination of car, price, service and sales process to win my business. I am new to Honda World as a customer, and I look forward to doing business with them over my ownership of the vehicle.

onI took my 2017 Accord in for service on Sunday, yes you read that correctly on a Sunday. Besides the 7 day service available at Honda World of Louisville the service advisor was an absolute great guy and was just as happy to be there as I was that they were there. Just an overall amazing experience. You can judge a dealership by the service after the sale, and its a true 5-star dealer.
