Horrible buying experience

The salesperson was on the Job for one week and did not know the vehicles she was selling. If the truck did not sell itself I never would have bought it. I will never step foot in Bill Collins Ford again (including service work) and would highly recommend everyone look elsewhere to buy their next vehicle. They clearly don't care about their customers or they would not put untrained staff on the sales floor.

Ford Fusion 2017 Stuck in Park

My car had to be towed to the shop three times. The third time was a charm. Because this was the third time my car was in the shop for the same problem, I was not charged for this repair. I thought that was an honorable thing to do, thus the five-star rating.

service is good but just takes way too long. 3 hours is too long to wait for oil change and tire rotation

Not a great experience

I went for tire rotation because I got an email from you. Bought my tires there. They wanted to sell me all kind of things. Even an oil change which I had just had done there and the sticker on the window showed I didn’t need an oil change. Also not a quick lane anything

We Had To Wait 17 Days To Get Our Explorer Back;They Kept Moving The Time Frame When It Would Be Finished. I Just Wish They Could Have Told Me When We Dropped It Off, How Long It Would Be.

They kept my car for a full day before starting repairs. This should not happen. Second time recall was scheduled. First time cancelled by Ford.

Ford Explorer

We always take our Explorer to Bill Collins Ford. We realize that they are more expensive than other places but we know they have qualified workers there so we continue to go there. There are a few things that I was disappointed about with this visit. First thing is the time they had our car. As always keep it longer than they say they will. When I set up the appointment they said have it here by 9:30. I specifically asked them how long they would have my car because I didn't want to bring it there and it sit there for a week without being looked at like it had in the past. They assured me that they would have the work completed that same day and we could pick it up that same day. We brought my car to the dealership on Tuesday before closing for our 9:30 appointment on Wednesday. They told me that they would contact us before they did any work to it. They called us at 7:00 PM that Wednesday and told us that the car did need new brakes and tires. When we asked how long they would have the car they said probably a few more days. We ended up picking up our car on Friday afternoon. If you know upfront that it will be several days just tell us especially if you knew from the beginning it wouldn't be ready for three days. The second thing is they gave us the price for the repairs over the phone when they called. They said that included everything. When we picked up the car the bill was right at $300 higher than we were quoted. Again, just tell us upfront so there aren't any surprises. We don't have any issues with their work. They do great work. However, we could go somewhere else and get our car back much quicker and cheaper. Just tell us how long you will have the car and how much and be accurate with both.

service on my FORD ESCAPE

I DONT OWN A NISSAN ROGUE ??? Brought my 2022 FORD ESCAPE in the shop because my back window wouldnt roll up. Dropped it off on Friday at 0750 (2/24) FINALLY was ready on Tuesday 2/28 and only because I called to find out about it. Was never even looked at until I called , I was told that it would take awhile when I brought it in in because they were short staffed. This is ridiculous to wait that long for something that only took a few hours to do.

Service Department

A service representative named Matt is very dismissive and does not see to it that the service is top tier. I paid for a "works" package only to find out the very next day that my truck was low on coolant. That should have been taken care of with the car maintenance. His response was that should not have happened, but its fixed now. I also made an appointment for an electrical issue, only to be told by Matt that there was no time for that issue when I arrived for my appointment. I was offered a pick up by Jason, but charged $165 for the diagnostic. The issue with my horn would have costed me $707. I will not return, as I was treated poorly each time I tried to get what I needed for my truck.

I was extremely pleased until I picked up my car. Charging 3.99% in a cc payment does not make any since when the credit card company does not charge you a fee to utilize it. Also I had plastic cup in the console of the car filled with change that was taken and not returned. Just goes to show that the work of s few people can ruin a positive experience.

Repeat visit to Bill Collins Ford. Bought 2017 Focus from the online viewing of inventory. My daughter and her husband had purchased a new Explorer a few weeks prior, and I had the pleasure of dealing with the same salesman. In 4 short years I needed a car that more fit my physical condition at the current time. Went in to build a new Escape due to the short supply of Escapes available. While putting together the interior and features, my salesman excused himself, few short minutes he returned. Took me to see a new Bronco Sport. I had always wanted a Bronco. Seated myself in it. That was it! I drove out in a car I had always wanted! Putting it this way, the purchase gave me a feeling much better than finding the perfect pair of shoes! The whole process was as easy as buying my Focus 4 years earlier. No pressure to buy. The support staff gives the same top notch and knowledgeable experience.
