onI've always appreciated the friendly, honest, straightforward atmosphere at Donovan. The staff treats me with respect and I never feel like I'm a pawn in a game like I have at some other dealerships. They are always there to help and advise, but I never feel pressured. I have to also add that I appreciate the low-key character of their TV commercials... no loud, shouting spokesmen or misleading claims or flashing banners.

onI have always received nothing less than the best possible service a customer could receive. From my visits to the service Dept. where Steve Nelson goes above and beyond treating me more like family than a customer, to visiting with Stephanie, the always friendly & charming Cassirer; in the waiting area who genuinely cares how I'm doing as a friend. I just turned 61 & just since the 1st of this year, I have been traveling to K.U. Med. Center's Liver Transplant & Treatment Cntr. in K.C. The team at Donovan's make sure my Cadillac is road worthy & my vehicle will not be an added issue for me. Do you know how much better I feel knowing that? It is priceless & very much appreciated!

2010 Enclave

onI had an odor problem in the dash vents of our 2010 Enclave. Leon thought the problem was probably a dirty cabin air filter. However no filter and tray had ever been installed and I was advised there was no service bulletin issued to put one my vehicle. I did some research on the internet myself for people with the same problem and discovered a bulletin did exist at some point in time. Leon was able to use that number and procede with the upgrade to put a filter in place. He could have opted not to use the info I found but did and I appreciate that. He also thanked me for my assist in the matter.

onI have had nothing less than a perfect relationship with Donovan's whether it was buying an extended warranty, dealing with Steve Nelson in the service department, or the body shop after my car was involved in an accident & causing $8,000.00 worth of damage & to taking care of my bill with Stephanie. There is a bond amongst Cadillac owner's that by word of mouth, if anything is wrong with your Cadillac "take it to Donovan's!" I would not take my "Baby" anywhere but Donovan's!!!

onI took my wife's Enclave in to correct a power steering pump problem which was covered under warranty. I left the vehicle and was given a courtesy ride home. I received a call later that the service technician had discovered a leaking steering gear assembly and it would take $1500.00 to repair/replace it (and an overnight stay) since it is not covered under the powertrain warranty much to my dismay. When I was notified repairs were done and I could pick up our Enclave I was also informed that the water pump was discovered to be leaking and it was replaced under warranty. This in no way sheds a negative light on Donovan's service department. However I did enquire if the rubber bellows/boots could be replaced on the gear assembly (in lieu of the assembly) but was informed they could not. I feel the steering gear should last longer than approx. 73000 miles.

Life saving observation

onTook my truck in for new tires. Your technician and Leon probably saved us from having a terrible accident out on the highway. With their sharp eye and evaluation noticed I had a wheel assembly that was really loose. They advised me of the cost and did the repairs right away. I knew something was wrong with the front end of my truck by the way the tire had worn. They repaired it and it really makes a difference on the way it handles now. Awesome job by a few good men.

onThe service my wife and I have received has been excellent. The only complaint I have is most parts and repairs seem to be excessively high in cost when paying the bill, compared to other auto maintenance and repair facilities. Les Donovan is already rich enough, why can't he reduce his prices somewhat to make customers even more devoted to his business location for sales, repairs, and servicing!!! onI was interested in the Pontiac G8 GT. I went and a very nice guy helped me out, showing me the car and the different options. However, I wasn't buying when I came the first time. The second time I came by, I was looking online and I found a used red one. I walked up, and the sales rep (Paul) greeted me and took me for a drive. He was not terribly knowledgeable about the car, but then, I knew a great deal from this website and others. He was a fine salesman. The finance guy was pushing to me to buy a new one, but that is to be expected. But it didn't have what I was looking for in a new one, so I went with the used one. Fine dealership, and I hope they stay in buisness! I did get my baby serviced there too. Very fast, very friendly and no problems!

onI've been very happy with the service I've received at Donovans service department. My services have been minor but the service writers are very good about explaining what's going on with the car, when I can expect it back and what my costs are. They also gave me an option to put an expensive repair off while having a less expense thing done until I was better prepared for the expense. I was also received a nice ride home on one visit with a very cordial man. I would recommend them to a friend.
