Great Experience---for the 2nd time in 6 months!

by GRAMPS9902 on 12/13/2015

My thanks to George Wilson for being one of the best car salesmen I have ever had. He was knowledgeable, well prepared, and never made me feel pressured on the purchase of my CX-3. I would also like to thank Stuart Hubler, the General Manager. He came out to personally talk to me and thank me for purchasing my 2nd car from Hubler Mazda in less then 6 months, the other being a CX-5 for my wife. I have found Hubler Mazda to be a top notch dealership and their service department is tremendous.

Amazed at how well I was treated

by rdschrin on 10/19/2015

I cant thank the staff at Hubler Mazda enough for helping me purchase my new 2015 Mazda6. This was my first big car purchase and after visiting several other dealerships and sitting through sales pitches, I was a bit skeptical when I visited this one. To my surprise, my salesman Jeremy was both friendly and extremely helpful in answering all of my questions throughout the entire process. I never felt pressured to buy and he went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable with my decision. When we finally reached a deal, Jason was very patient with helping me understand the financing process and what options would work for me. I wound up driving my new car home that night. I would definitely recommend Hubler Mazda to anyone needing a new car. Without a doubt Ill be returning to this dealership for my next car.

Great Car; salesman and finance/insurance [non-permissible content removed]

I'm a 59 year old guy who has bought 10 new cars during the last 30 years. This was my most unpleasant car buying experience. In December 2013, purchased new Red 2014 Mazda3 GT Hatchback. Also traded in 2007 Mazda 3 Touring Hatchback (which made the deal more complicated). Salesman Brandon Guise was tough negotiator, wearing me down over two hours. Kept bringing me "documentation" from Carfax et.al. that my trade was worth $2,000 less. We finished with an okay deal (too little for the trade; too much for the new car-according to the numbers on this site) But I decided to give the salesman a "Christmas bonus" because the car was exactly what I wanted. And this is the Mazda dealer closest to home (which I already used to service our two Mazda 3s. Then I get to the Finance & Insurance guy, portraying a meek, bumbling clerk.(Wish I could give his name, but he scribbled his signature) I refuse the extended warranty, and all the "spiffs" he was selling. He had me sign a "refusal" forms on each, "deeply concerned" that "nobody else refuses these great deals." Through three printed contracts, he "made a mistake" (always in the dealer's favor). Finally a correct contract. Now the financing--Despite weeks of TV ads with the Hubler lady saying "zero percent financing on ALL new Mazdas" he tells me "except for 2014s" which are 1.9 percent. No way I was giving them the percentage. So, I called my Indiana Members Credit Union and finance my car at 1.9 percent through IMCU. Salesman threw in a few incentives, including vouchers six months of free car washes. But when I get home the voucher book is missing from the envelope. I leave a message and send him an e-mail. But I never heard from him. Really?! You're going to piss me off over car washes? Next time I go to another Mazda dealer. NOTE: The Hubler service department is good. So I recommend them for service but steer clear of the showroom.

Sales experience was average. I felt like I got an OK deal. Service later was really pretty AWFUL, a real surprise it could be that bad actually. But the worst came when I went to buy my leased car. Mazda Finance gave me the total buy-out amount for the car, but when I went to pay it, Hubler Mazda said they were adding $1,000 to the total due. (The reason given was "because we can".) Apparently they routinely make their dealership the lien holder or something like that (unlike any other dealer's common practice that I know of), and so I had no other choice. This was my 2nd really despicable experience at a Hubler Group dealership, and I will never deal with Hubler again!

Horrible Service!

by hjuhl on 01/06/2010

The sales associate who we dealt with at Hubler Mazda completely screwed my husband and I over. My husband is in the military and is currently deployed. One would think the dealership would be more than willing to work with us and our situation. Instead, when my husband called and told them things that he wanted with the car and the dealership did many of the opposite things. Now that we have bought the car and realized many of the mistakes that were made by the dealership, the dealership is unwilling to correct any of there mistakes. They have suddenly become very rude and unhelpful. The person from the finance department lied to the manager about many things that went on and the manager doesn't care about the truth or fixing the problems. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone unless you want bad service.
