Repeat Customer for 15 Years and They Keep Getting Better!

by diverdriver1 on 09/30/2014

Just bought a new E63 and once again my expectations were blown away. I can say I got a great deal and had done quite a bit of research as I wanted a sports car. I actually enjoyed the purchase experience and found it to be pain free. The Finance Manager was professional and quick and offered up some great options.

Great Purchase Experience - E350 4Matic

by ksalt on 10/12/2013

I drove up from Indianapolis because the Ft Wayne Mercedes-Benz Dealership had a better selection of late model E Class sedans with very reasonable pricing. The car I was interested in was ready for inspection when I arrived. Erin M answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable about the E class. The Finance Manager gave me options I had not considered and that helped add value to the purchase. The buying experience was actually pleasant and stress free. I would recommend the dealership to anyone.

Do Not Trust

by lookingforca2 on 08/12/2013

Looked at pre-owned vehicle to purchase. Before test driving negotiated a "ballpark" figure to purchase car. Took the time and expense to have car reviewed by an independent mechanic. When we returned we had to deal with another salesman and the price increased substantially. I wasted my time and money getting the car inspected. I did not realize that this dealership would utilize this low-end used sales car tactic.

above and beyond the call of duty

by boscsr01 on 05/09/2013

a couple months ago i went looking for a car, My other vehicle was in a incident in which could not be fixed. So i went looking at all kinds of vehicles and met all kinds of salesmen. Most just wanted to throw me into something, I got to the Mercedes Benz dealership in fort wayne indiana. i got there am they introduced themselves and I told them what I needed. the car I had my sights on he told me that he didnt believe that was the car for me, I explained that i was a injured soldier from Afghanistan and i had frequent back pain. thats when he left me and went to talk to his supervisors he came back and asked me if i liked the car, i replied its really nice. then he pointed me in another direction, and showed me a E500 4matic MB I was blown away but I couldnt afford a vehicle like that, then he handed me the keys and asked me to trust him. he sat me in the drivers seat and started messing with the controls, to help support my back then put the seat on warm, as if that wasnt enough he placed the car in a comfort setting. i was completely blown away, after the test drive I waited to hear how much, afraid he was going to blow my entire budget. he came out with a few people after a while they introduced themselves and said thank you for your service to our country. so they tell me after carefull review they had to make some calls trying to get everything they could for me, I ended up getting the car for just alittle bit more than the original one i was looking at, at first I thought they were joking until i seen the contract. As i was leaving I heard one of them say its the least we could do for everything you have done for us. In 2005 i was in a incident that changed my life forever, after a major back surgery, and a little facial cosmetic, learning to walk again, and countless hours of physical therapy. People ask me how am I able to do it, My response "Its easy when you have the love of the entire country behind you" like the men and women at the Mercedes Benz dealership. i dont know if i can say thank you enough. Thanks again

Look somewhere else

I have given this dealer 4 tries over the past few years to sell me a new Mercedes. Each time the deal is so bad I end up driving a couple hours to another dealer to get a reasonable deal and every time I've got my deal and the new Mercedes.

My Experience@Mercedes-Benz of Fort Wayne

by shankapotimus on 09/04/2012

My wife and I wanted to purchase a gently used GLK 350. We were not having a lot of success via the internet, so my wife decided to go to the dealership. Nothing was on the lot except some MLs which I did not want, so we decided to pass. A few days later, we received a phone call from Chris Cook, the new and used car sales manager, who asked us the come back and work directly with him. That afternoon, we went to the dealership, met with Chris and were very impressed. He listened to what we wanted and began a search for us through the Mercedes-Benz dealer network to find us a low mileage GLK. He searched for several days and nothing turned up. Chris then began to work on us to buy a new GLK. Everthing the dealership had on their lot was fully equipped with all the Mercedes' packages which we did not want. So he began to look again through the Mercedes-Benz dealer network to find a vehicle that would work for us. Chris located one in another city and we began to negotiate price and trade-in. We received the trade-in amount that we wanted and received a very fair price on the new vehicle. The car was delivered to Fort Wayne and we drove off as very satisfied customers. I cannot say enough about Chris Cook, his professionalism, and his no pressure approach to helping us. I have been a Mercedes-Benz buyer since 1986, and this was the best buying experience I have ever had at any MercedesBenz dealership. The only negative issues that I have encountered since the purchase are that the payoff for my trade in has not been received by my old lein holder after two and one-half weeks and the DMV has not been contacted about the transfer of license plates to the new vehicle. Both of these issues were to have been taken care of by the dealership, so it appears that there are some administrative issues that I am now having to waste my time following up on. This made me drop my rating from five stars to four stars. I give the purchase experience five stars and the office staff follow-up two stars and dropping!

Good Experience

by timbottoms on 08/30/2012

I was in the market for a lightly used Lexus ES350 (2011 very low miles). Discussed my color, options, and cost requirements Nadeem and within a day he sent an email giving me a couple options to consider. The car was in Atlanta so was nervous about making such a large purchase on a car sight unseen, but both Nadeem and Chris provided me a lot of information about the car inclusive of what options were included, pictures, Car Fax, and auction rating of the vehicle. Also was sure to tell me what wasn’t included which was an extra keyless start/entry key. Without me asking they promised to purchase me a spare key. So I was coming out of an accident situation where my car was totaled by another driver, and my insurance rental period was due to expire before the Lexus was going to arrive. No problem, Chris stepped up immediately and offered me a C300 to drive until my car arrived. Once my car arrived I was immediately notified and Nadeem had the car detailed for me before I arrived to get it. Beautiful car in fantastic shape and drove/drives perfectly. There was a noticeable imperfection on a door panel by the window and door lock controls. I thought oh well if that’s the only problem then this is still fantastic. But Nadeem suggested since it was still under Lexus warranty that I take it there and bet they will replace the part under warranty; they did! With a week of picking up the car my car I received a call from Lexus service stating my new key has arrived and that Mercedes paid for it and had a PO in place to cover the programming charge. Nadeem and Chris were fantastic to deal with. Never felt pressured. Very comfortable transaction and I would buy from again.

VERY POOR EXPERIENCE, Dont trust these guys

by lolophysio on 04/24/2011

Very Poor Experience with this dealership. I drove all the way from southern Indiana thinking I was getting a very good deal on a used SLK 350. Nadeem knew absolutely nothing about the car. When test driving the car he states that the car is equipped with Bluetooth for the phone. He states that the car has a CD changer. Infact he plugged all these in the KBB values artificially bringing the price of the car up. They were supposed to deliver the car to me after 3-4 days. After paying for it and before leaving the dealer ship I even confirmed with him to send the cartridge for the CD changer and he states he would. I found the front door hinge making some creaking noise and Nadeem told me he would fix it before delivering. When I did receive the car (3-4 days late).....NO CD Changer....The door not fixed.....NO Bluetooth. So I called him up, he asks me to spray WD40 on the hinge and he said he would speak to his boss about the CD changer and Bluetooth. After a week of numerous emails and phone calls without him calling or emailing me back I called his boss Dan Zoda. Dan pretty much told me that I was out of luck on the CD changer and Bluetooth and that I should be happy for getting a deal on the car(not really when one removes those 2 options). He agreed to fix the door problem for which I had to drive over an hour to the nearest MB dealership and be without my car for a whole week while they worked on it. Guess what? the door hinge that Nadeem stated only needed WB40 was a $500 job that required a whole new hinge!! Why did Nadeem not spray WB40 before delivering the car??All empty promises, I'm still waiting on the bottle of touch up paint that he was supposed to send me because HE FOROGOT to touch up the nicks on the car that he had promised. The finance guy John was in a terrible hurry making numerous mistakes in the mileage etc that I had to catch. He states he is late for his son’s birthday party! He printed the wrong car on the 30 day tags too. Luckily my local MB dealership caught it and hence I had to run to the DMV to get my permanent plates so that I don’t get the ticket. Dan Zoda promised to send new tags...empty promised again. My honest suggestion DONOT deal with these guys and make sure you check all the options that they are plugging into KBB and don’t let them rush you!!
