The service at VW is the worst ever!

We have a 2003 Jetta with a problematic catalytic converter. The problem has been diagnosed by two garages before we went to O’Brien. The front desk guy working at VW told me first that they need to confirm the problem before they can perform warranty service. In addition, I was told that if they did confirm that the catalytic converter had any problem, there would not be any diagnosis fee. But what happened next is that they came back and told me that in addition of the problem confirmed of the catalytic converter, they found that there are two other sensors were out of order as well. I checked the price of their call and thought it was much higher than others and then told them that I only want to get the warranty job done here. Then they asked me to pay $101 diagnosis fee… The reason they provided is that they found something else was wrong… Honestly speaking, I had experience with many other garages and this dealer is most thirsty one. You asked for something specific and they will do something else and charge you according to their logic. Be prepared for their trick before you put your car in their place. What is funnier is that they do hire a madam handling the customer relationship. However, she even didn’t know their service policy. What she kept telling me was that they never did this for free, which was absolutely against the words I heard from the front desk guy. Anyway, put your car into service there carefully. The way they do business there is uglier than you can imagine.
