My opinion of car buying experience has changed. I actually enjoyed my time with J.P. the sales consultant at Napletons. I told him the car I wanted (I had picked it out by looking at Edmunds first). Put in my information and they called me. I got there and J.P. took care of me. He pulled the car and I took it for a test drive and then we went to work. I was turning in a leased car early and it was a breeze. He told me stories along the way that were funny or life learning lessons. It was just a really nice experience. Once I got to finance, the man that took care of me was also very nice and helpful. Overall, I would buy from them again. Great experience and no haggling over prices. I told them what I wanted to pay for my 60-month, monthly payments and they matched it. I had done my homework from reviewing the different models of SUV's I was interested in and used the Edmond's pricing tool. It all worked out great! J.P. has years of car selling experience and was just an all-around great guy. This is what a car buying experience should always be!!!

First of all, the shopping experience is easier than I expected. I was shopping for a new Honda Odyssey as a gift for my mom. I did tons of research about the car, evaluate dealers' reputation & service, and most importantly price and the model I wanted. I went to 4 of the biggest Honda dealers in Northwest IL. Most of the dealers have the same sales process, started with MSRP, and expecting you give them a quote from another dealer, so they can try to match or beat it.  They usually call you back the next day and letting you know they want your business and willing to work with the numbers a bit more.The old school car sales process. I'm super tired of this process which is not efficient at all.   This experience did not happen when I walk to the River Oaks Honda. The sale rep Maysam Farra greeted me right after I walk in at 6PM. He is full of energy and ready to listen my needs. Long story short, they did not play old school car sales trick which request any quote from other dealerships. Instead of that, I just received a price they are willing to offer initially. Because I did all of the research prior to my visit, I know what a reasonable price looks like in the market. I just want someone treat me honestly from the very begining. This is more like shopping for "Honesty" than a " Car".   I do appreciate and respect their professionalism and honesty that save me lots of time on the real process.  The sales manager Eddy Mohammad also treat me like a family. He took his time to confirm they answered all my questions, and the delivery manager Larry Chambers make sure I know how to operate the car with all of the tech.  The whole experience made me feel like I'm Rolls owner. These fantastic people not only represent the Napleton River Oaks dealer, but also refresh my assumption on the HONDA brand. I would highly recommend all Honda buyer in IL to visit River Oaks Honda! For the same price, they offer better people & experience.

I went into Napleton with high expectations after looking at all the reviews. Although I was interested in a used Jeep and it’s a Honda dealership, I assumed they would have the same integrity for all the cars they sold. I initially worked with a salesmen Cortez (who was great) and then was passed off to Eliodoro aka Lolo. The first issue I came across was when I went to test drive the vehicle it has not been cleaned out at all. I was promised by Cortez that if I purchased the vehicle, it would be fully detailed. However, after I purchased the car and got ready to pull off the lot, not only was it not fully detailed but my windshield also had a crack in it that was not there when I test drove it. I then brought it to Lolo’s attention and he told me he would be in contact with me by 12:30 pm the next day after he had talked to a manager. After I was not called by 4:00 pm, I then returned to the dealership where I talked to the manager Eddie who was very helpful and scheduled an appointment to get it fixed. After this, I felt it was necessary to have my car throughly inspected my a Jeep Dealership and Auto Body shop. The dealership told me that nothing was wrong with the car itself, but my tires are almost “dangerously bald.” The cost of new tires averaged around $1,000,-1,200. While I was upset about this, I took accountability for not having the tires checked properly before buying it. In regards to the body on my car, I had noticed I had a scrape on the back of my car that was poorly filled in with paint. I then found another long scrape on the side that had been filled in poorly with paint As well that I didn’t notice when I test drove and looked at the car initially. Three different auto bodies quoted between $700-1100. My mom and I were told by Lolo that I had 15 days to return the used car for any reason. However, that turned out not to be true. I then returned to the dealership and let them know of the damage on the car. I did not get the managers name that I spoke with but he basically tried to tell me that it’s a used car and things like broken windshields and scrapes happen. While I understand that it’s a used car, it’s the lack of integrity for me. The deals on their used cars may seem good here but I would advise anyone PLEASE INSPECT THE CAR THOROUGHLY BEFORE PURCHASING IT! I really try to patronize this community, but unfortunately I can no longer do that. Please save yourself the stress and go to Matteson over this Honda Dealership.

I bought a new vehicle yesterday. The salesman and finance manager were awesome. I was very indecisive and they listened to my concerns and assisted me with any answers I needed. They were more concerned with making me happy about my purchase than just trying to get me to purchase a vehicle. This is my fourth vehicle from Honda and I have not been disappointed yet. Thank you Steve Martin and Moddy for your great customer service and taking care of me. I was even contacted to to day to see if I had any questions and concerns about the vehicle I purchased.
