Great experience!

by kmnovak89 on 05/15/2017

I was treated unlike I had ever been treated at an Auto dealer. I came in, Ryan offered me some coffee, and we got to looking at the 2017 Q5. He was very knowledgeable and well versed in Audi. I look forward to working with him again when the time comes to pull the trigger.

Overall Great Buying Experience

by geauxldrush on 07/06/2015

My overall buying experience at Audi Hawaii was great. I got a great deal at the end of the quarter courtesy of Tyrell Jenkins. Tyrell was the best salesperson I've ever had in 15 years of car buying. And if I may use a restaurant analogy, the front of the house (sales &finance) and the back of the house (service) were all wonderful the day of the sale. My one complaint is that there was some confusion and miscommunication within the group concerning their Audi Advantage program. While it had perportedly been done away with, it is still advertised in their e-mails as a sidebar that links to their website. This caused some confusion when I tried to take advantage of the 72-hour exchange option. I struggled to get ahold of someone who could give me any definitive answers, and, even after confirmation that the program would be honored, we were unable to come to a deal. Ultimately, Audi Hawaii provides for a great buying experience, but due to some new staff members and miscommunication issues, the after sales experince has left me desiring a bit more. I have all the faith that it will improve. Tyrell did call me after everything had transpired (he was not working then) and cleared the air. They are a small dealership and preach family, which I'm proud to now be a part of.

Poor Sales Service

by dpillar808 on 04/30/2009

We wanted an Audi Q5 but the specific vehicle with the options we wanted was not in stock. We was told by the dealer that we would need to wait 4 months if we wanted Q5 with an S-line package. The salesman said that they have a Q5 coming in but it's not an S-line but has everything else we wanted. So we gave in a deposit so we can look at the car first when it comes in and so no one else would buy it if we wanted it and if we didn't like it he would give our money back. Since we live in Hawaii, there's only one dealership so I started calling the mainland and was able to find one, it was one of the last ones they had coming in North America. (I called 8 dealers all in all in North America and they even checked the computer system of incoming vehicles coming from Germany and it would need to be a long wait after that.) 2 weeks later we get a call from our local Audi dealer that we can come in to view the vehicle. My mom then said to the salesman that we wanted our money back and that we were getting a vehicle from the mainland. That's when it went all downhill (It was on speakerphone) The salesman was angry and frustrated he quoted, "Why didn't you call and tell me?, I can find any car you want, I can even sell you an AIRPLANE if you wanted one." That was very unprofessional. He also said, "You didn't even look at the car yet." and said, "What kind of business are we doing, if were not even on the same boat." He then said he could have searched at other dealerships to find the car we wanted but I informed him when we were at the dealership that we weren't informed of that option and the only option we had was to order and wait for 4 months. Lastly he said, "HOW WOULD YOU FEEL SERVICING YOUR CAR HERE, KNOWING THAT YOU BAUGHT YOU CAR FROM THE MAINLAND AND NOT OUR DEALERSHIP? AND WHO WOULD FIX THE SCRATCHES WHEN THE CAR COMES IN FROM SHIPMENT?" Is it really that necessary for the salesman to say that? Frustrated, my mom and I go to the dealership and the first thing he says in front of my mom and I is, "What are you doing here?" (Referring to the son). He then tries to convince he could get the car for us and that in order to for him to search for the vehicle nationwide I would need to sign a paper contract. I asked him what it's for and he repeatedly said 2 times when I asked that the contract was "For the dealership to search for the vehicle outside of Hawaii." He also said that if he wasn't able to find the vehicle in the specific time period we gave him, he would give our money back but when we got home further reading the contract it says in small words that the the dealer has the option to keep our deposit if we choose not to buy the car from them and it didn't have anything on time period (so we basically have to buy the car from JN Automotive, even if it takes more than a month) The service in the beginning was good but went downhill from there. Since there's only one Audi dealership here in Hawaii it's basically a monopoly and the dealer can charge what ever they want and the prices that they want ( I don't find that a problem) but the service was HORRIBLE and unprofessional. I hope we get our money back though. Were now waiting for his call but after the service and treatment he gave my mother and I, I don't think I would ever want to buy a car from that salesman. If JN Automotive is reading this I hope you talk and find that salesman. It was just horrible service. My mom is now worried that if we don't buy the car from that dealership that they would keep our deposit ( I did some research online and that the maximum amount for a deposit is $1000, we gave $3000, he said that's the only way he'll secure the car for us to look at it without anyone else buying it). I really lost my respect for that dealership, they make you feel like it's your fault and they hold your money ransom so they would get you to buy from them. If they won't give back the money on our deposit, I guess were stuck buying the car
