Jimmy McConaghy is an exceptional sales person and is a pleasure to deal with. He is totally transparent and provides complete open information. He continually kept us informed with frequent calls updating us on the status of our new Outback Touring XT. This is my second new car purchase with Jimmy. I have had it 3 weeks, and it saved my life 2 days after I bought it. It's pinpoint easy steering (much like close ratio steering) helped me avoid a near head-on collision with an apparently retarded driver coming in the other direction. It is a pleasure to drive this car and is not tiring on long trips. The salesman (Malcolm) was terrific and kept his commitments, but he could not lose when selling a car like this Outback.

Cody was my sales person, and did a great job in helping me upgrade to the latest Subaru Forester. He was quite knowledgeable on some of the models I was looking at, and understanding to what my goals were, and as a result I was able to upgrade my 2017 model to 2019 with lower car payments and lower APR.

This was the easiest and most comfortable car buying experience I've ever had. My salesman, Jimmy, never made me feel pressured and didn't put me through the lengthy waits when he went to talk to the sales manager. Tony, the business manager, gets a gold star also. In and out in 3 hours with my 2017 Forester. Thanks for proving that buying a new car doesn't have to be a horrible memory.

I found a used car on their website a few weeks ago and while we were in town, we stopped to look at it and were told we couldn't see it and they also had no idea of the selling price. Ok then, why did they list it on their website if they aren't ready to sell it? I saw the exact same car listed today on a web search for that type of car and when pulling up the carfax it says it was sold at auction 2 days ago. So now that they no longer even have the car, they are now willing to give the sales price... Waste of time.

BEST BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER @ CHATHAM PARKWAY SUBARU

The dealership was very luxurious to sit in by far better than the Subaru dealerships I have visited being I was from upstate Connecticut we drove 2hrs when we could have just dealt with the local dealership being we just moved down in my vacation home near Charleston,SC & being this was my 1st Subaru in a lifetime I must say I was impressed truly the marble tile floors, saltwater fish tank & chandelier lighting then on top of that the service from the whole staff made you feel warm & welcomed but Marquis was the best by far throughout the whole buying process he took care of us I wondered where was he when I bought my other Luxury vehicles probally not even born yet but he was a true professional gentleman I mean this was a great Luxury Experience so I say that to say this cause me and my husband could have chose to buy any brand of choice on the Luxury end but because of the professionalism he convinced us to opt out of that retirement Mercedes-Benz or BMW 745 for what has been so good to others we know all these years which was an Subaru only when we met Marquis with the Lifetime Warranty we got for free now we can spend that savings for car maintenance on the grandkids instead! I just bought my 6th Subaru (4th Outback). I have never purchased a new car without becoming aggravated, upset or just completely PO'd, until yesterday, that is. After the completely pleasant experience I just went through, I feel compelled to tell everyone else around here that may be thinking of buying a new car that they should look no further than Chatham Parkway Subaru. They are a relatively new Subaru dealership, and my first contact with them was through thier Service Department, which was pleasant enough, and they took good care of my '05 Outback. About three weeks ago my wife and I received a sales call (cold call) from Kevin (Salesman with Chatham Parkway Toyota as well as Chatham Parkway Subaru) telling us about a great deal CP Toyota was offering. We informed him that we were 22 year Subaru loyalists and weren't interested in buying a new car at this time, and would only consider a Subaru in any case, and to call back when he could come up with the same deal on a Subaru. We thought we would never hear from him again. Well, he called back about twenty minutes later and said that his manager said they would make us the same offer on an Outback that they were offering on the Toyotas. We had to go past CP Subaru the next day anyway so we thought we'd take a look at the new Outbacks just for the fun of it. They showed us the new Outback the next day (Nice!) and gave us a sales spiel. They didn't have the color my wife wanted in stock, and after giving them our car for trade-in evaluation while we were taken for a test drive in the new '10 Outback we returned to the dealership where Russ the Sales Mgr, had an already sold green Outback for us to look at. My wife loved the color, I loved the car, but we couldn't come to an agreement with the price and trade-in. I told them I had a price in mind including trade-in and they told me they couldn't meet it, but that they were due to receive 14 new cars in from Subaru in November, and they would contact us if they could get an Outback we wanted onour terms. Leon (CPS General Mgr) called me about a week later and said they would be getting a green Outback in, and we negotiated a mutually agreeable price. We picked up our new Outback yesterday, and after the entire process was completed, I told Russ and Kevin that this was the only time I didn't get aggravated by the new car purchasing process. Chatham Parkway Subaru is fortunate to have such a nice team in Leon, Russ, Kevin and Kim (Financing), they all made the new car buying process a pleasant experience instead of a dreaded chore.
