Rip Off, they Suck!

by LatesaG on 04/19/2016

If I could give a 0 star I would, it's to much to write in a review. Please stay away from this place. A friend of mines purchased a car from here and forewarned me not to, but I was desperate and did it anyway because I kept getting mail every other day from them stating that they can get me approved in a bankruptcy with $0 down. I purchased a 2012 Nissan Altima and the tire went flat and 1 week, there were not thread on the tire and the brake light was on. Within 8 months the transmission when out. I was there a least 6 hours the day I purchased the vehicle. This Dealership SUCKS, I wouldn't refer a dog!!! please spend your time and your hard earn money wisely, be patient and not rush when visiting these dealership, I surely regret visiting this place!

HORRIBLE Customer Service!!

by kimmykakes0707 on 03/18/2016

After purchasing yet a 3rd vehicle from this dealership, their treatment of a "loyal" customer is down right appalling to say the very least. No one answers calls nor do they return them. Rodney Dollar (Finance Manager) claims he knows nothing about financial deals that are made and therefore cannot/will not honor them--even though he manages this area. When asked for contact information of the GM, Rodney says "I don't know his email or phone extension". Then proceeds to "accidentally" disconnect our call upon transfer to GM's assistant, Melanie. Once I spoke with Melanie she haughtily informs me that Rodney has made her, the GM and everyone else fully aware of my issue and that no one can further assist me. As I attempted to explain my situation and series of events that led up to the conversation with Rodney, she rudely says "I'll wait for you to finish talking over me". At that point, I was absolutely DONE with this place. NO LONGER will I waste my time and money at this dealership having to deal with rude and ignorant people who are only interested in making a quick deal!!

Excellent service and staff

by dw006 on 03/21/2015

Mr Garrick Wyatt assisted me with a 2013 Altima I found online. He was very professional and set up an appointment convenient to my schedule. My credit isn't the greatest but with a little money down I was able to purchase my Altima with a lower payment then I expected. Everyones situation will be different but you will be in good hands dealing with Garrick. I will definitely be buyingy next car from Nissan South.

Nissan South Morrow,Ga is the biggest rip off ever!! Unbelievable

by butterfly09 on 08/22/2011

I purchased a vehicle from Nissan South August 2011. One day after purchasing the vehicle electrical issue occurred. I returned to dealer to have the issue repaired. I was in the service department for hours when I was finally told that the problem had been fixed. By the time I left the dealer and returned home the electrical problem had reoccurred. I called the service manager, who informed me I should return to the service dept the next day. When I returned the next day the service manager was off and the other service personnel had no knowledge of me or the issues with my car. I was there for 3 hours before I told what was truly wrong with the vehicle, one of the issues they could fix, but the other had problem had to be fixed by Infiniti. I ask the service personnel, who would be responsible for the cost? Because I had just purchase the vehicle a week ago and I did think I should be responsible for the cost of the repairs. He left the call the service manager, when he returned I was given the service manager’s card and was told to call him on Monday. Early Monday morning, when I returned to the service dept., I was told they would take care of the issues and delivery the vehicle to Infiniti for the necessary repairs that Nissan could not fix. So, I was given a ride home. Later that evening I received a call from the service manager, stating that I would have pay for the cost of the repairs and that would not be taking the car to Infiniti like they promised. When I returned to the dealership I spoke with the agent (Nice, but very inexperienced when it comes to selling cars) who sold me the car and the assistant manager. I explained that I did not understand why I was going to be responsible for the repairs of the car when issues with the car arrived less than week of owning it, which made me believe that they had sold the car knowing that it had an electrical issue. I was told by the assistant manager that I purchased the car "as is" and that it is a risk I took. I explained that I was aware I purchased the car "as is" however, when I purchased the car I was assured that I was buying a great car and did not expect to have issues with the car with in one day of owning it. He replied if he could, he would pay for the repairs, but if he did that the dealership would never make any money. He even went on the say that is why he does not selling used cars and that he does not buy used cars because he does not like dealing with the service dept. I even asked if the dealership could pay half of the cost for repairs. He went into his office to call his general manager, when he returned he said that the general said no! You bought the car “as is” and that is that! So, after owning the car for 9 days I took it to the South Atlanta Infiniti (where I received excellent customer service) to have the repairs done. So, if you are looking for an inexperience sales agent, a dealership with an assistant manager who do not like selling used cars, and a service dept who needs more than one opportunity to assess the issues of your car before given a true evaluation. Then Nissan South is the car dealership for you.

Time wasters

by bhorsoft on 04/24/2011

Requested a quote for a Nissan Cube via Edmunds. I never got a quote. I got a half dozen e-mails to date, but never a quote. The dealership is a distance from me, but I never visited because I never got a quote from their Internet sales person, Moe Lewis. I got e-mails from him about an Altima, when was I going to schedule a visit, what was I looking for, but never any of the information I requested. My impression I got from our limited communication is that this is the type of dealership looking for suckers instead of educated car buyers. Don't bother with them.

UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE...

by jmauborgne on 04/12/2008

I visited this dealership on 10 April 2008. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable. The showroom is rather small when compared to the huge inventory on hand. I was looking for a new 2008 Versa or a 2008 Sentra. I test drove the Versa and was not all that impressed. Then I was shown the Sentra but did not actually drive it. The salesman was very courteous but did not seem to be a bright bulb with numbers. It became a stressful situation. He would tell me he had to go consult with the man in the back room. Then he would come back and get a bit lower. He repeated this about five times and I sat around for about two and one-half hours. Finally he said this is the deal or ELSE. I told him no. So then he said wait and he went back into the finance office again and this time he told me he could do it with $1,000 down. I said so. Then he went back to the office again. I got tired of the runaround and got in my car and left the dealership. I went to another dealership where I purchased a 2008 Ford Focus in less than one hour. Well, in this time he was calling my wife and said to come back at once. He told her they had a deal for me. Then he called again and said the General Manager had arrived on the scene and wanted to look at my trade to see if he could not give me more money for my trade. He kept calling for two days after I had already traded. [violative content deleted] I want to stress that the salesman was friendly enough and had a smoothe attitude, but it seemed that the finance people could not get their act together at all. In short, they try to give you the runaround and burn you down with stress so you will say "yes". I was turned off by this type of salesmanship.
