I have purchased my last three Accords from Phil Hughes Honda. I have had an excellent experience each time. Jonathon Waggoner was my salesperson this time, and he made buying this Accord a very relaxing experience. He listened to what I wanted and helped me make the best decision. Financing was also very easy and quick. When it is time for my next Accord, I will buy it from Phil Hughes Honda!

Phil Hughes has always been the Best Honda Dealership to buy from and this most recent experience was no different. Everyone was professional and courteous in every way possible. This was our fourth Honda to buy from Phil Hughes and certainly won't be our last.

Great place good people. I love that they are family owned! Just remember to read all the things you sign. I found something I would have been mad if I missed it. They fixed it right away with no argument.

Best Value for a Used Honda

I had a very good experience with Gary at Phil Hughes Honda. I had seen used Accords in other places and this one was a better value. I had no trouble getting a test drive, or walking away for lunch to have time to think. They backed up their word that it is a good car with a year of extended warranty. I have peace of mind with this purchase.

The sales reps I worked with at Phil Hughes did a fantastic job being informative and helpful without being pushy. I always felt that I could contact either of my sales reps with any questions, and Jose in particular really went above and beyond to make sure I got the car I wanted.

Just bought a new Honda Ridgeline, had to go a model up to get my color but worth it. Truck is great with all the options I want. I have been going here for 3 years now for my Honda Element and have always had quick maintenance service.

I made contact initially with The internet sales manager via the Phil Hughes website. Once we spoke back and forth we set an appointment for my husband to come in that afternoon. The internet sales manager connected him with the new car salesman and the end result was that we made the purchase of a 2013 CRV. The entire process was smooth, professional, and friendly. This week we were in the Phil Hughes service department for our first oil change. We had forgotten that our first oil change was free, however the service advisor quickly reminded us of this benefit. The service was completed quickly and efficiently so it took a minimal amount of time out of our day. All this to say that we truly have had nothing but positive & pleasant experiences with Phil Hughes Honda.

I cant say Ive ever looked forward to purchasing a car. New cars are expensive, and the car buying experience harrowing to say the least. Our recent experience with Kevin C. at Phil Hughes Honda in Athens, Georgia was so unexpectedly amazing, I felt compelled to write this review in hopes that others in a similar situation can benefit from our experience. We live in the Chicago area, and our daughter was graduating from the University of Georgia in May. Since her post-graduation plans were to remain in Athens, we decided to look into buying her a car. She had her heart set on a Honda CR-V, and our preference was to find a local dealer. We were skeptical at first, as we had a connection to a Honda dealer in the Chicago area, and were convinced wed get a better deal here. Wow, were we proven wrong! Ive always consulted Consumer Reports Car Buying service prior to any vehicle purchase. We look for a fair deal, where we feel good about the price, and so does the dealer. We dont shop price if we feel a dealer is bargaining in good faith. After building our desired model on Hondas site, we sent a price inquiry to Phil Hughes Honda. Kevin C., the Internet Sales Manager, responded immediately. The price fell right in line with Consumer Reports fair deal range. Satisfied, we did not negotiate any further, thats the first time in 30 years! We wanted a color that was not in stock at the dealership, and Kevin was diligent about tracking down a vehicle in the region. We were headed to Athens for our daughters graduation, and wanted to work out all the details related to the purchase prior to our arrival. Kevins responsiveness and service was so amazing that I cite this experience when I speak publicly about Customer Service. Kevin made sure that EVERYTHING was taken care of when we arrived. He informed us that he would be attending a conference that week, and would be not be at the dealership when we picked up the car. He confirmed that the price he originally quoted is the price we would pay, even though the car had some unexpected extras. Josh and Ryan took care of the transaction, fast, fun and easy. Kevin even stopped by the dealership on his way back from the airport with his wife waiting in the car to say hello and make sure we were satisfied. We are so grateful for Kevins exceptional service, personal commitment and integrity. You wont go wrong connecting with Kevin if you are looking for a car in Athens, GA.

I have nothing but good things to say about Phil Hughes Honda. They gave me a drive-out price for the car I wanted after the first contact and did not harass me about making a decision. I visited the dealership and drove out with a new car a couple of hours later. It was easily the best car-buying experience I have ever had, and this is the 5th Honda I have bought.

The dealer had an accurate inventory listed on their website . Many dealers leave cars on their website months after they have been sold to encourage car shoppers to visit their lot. I also found a good price on a used Honda Accord. Our salesman, Chuck E., was very knowledgeable about the spec.s on the cars we looked at plus he was honest. In the end we got a great used Honda at a great price for our daughter.

Internet Quote Experience

I received internet quotes from 10 dealers in my area; Phil Hughes gave me the highest quote. When I emailed back to see if they would beat or match another dealer's quote, I never got a response back. Other dealers at least emailed me back to let me know if they could or could not beat a price; Phil Hughes was the only one who did not. So I do not recommend using their internet quote service. However, I did go to the actual dealership to test drive cars, and found the on-floor salesmen to be knowledgeable and low pressure.

After visiting several dealerships in the Atlanta area I started to hate car shopping. I felt like I had to constantly be on guard to avoid being "tricked" into paying too much or being rushed into a purchase. I requested a quote through the edmonds' site and received quotes from numerous dealers, all at least $2,000.00 less than what I was able to negotiate from another dealer. All negotiations were handled via email, were friendly, and most importantly it felt more productive. I met Kevin Christian in person for the first time when I picked the vehicle up. This was the best car shopping experience I have had. I would recommend Phil Hughes and Kevin to anybody.

Great Car Buying Experience

We were looking for a used Honda Pilot with low miles at a good price. Phil Hughes had two in our price range, and they allowed us to take both on overnight test drives. This was very helpful. The internet sales staff, Kevin Christian and Rachel Callis, made the car buying experience excellent. We agreed on a price before I returned from the second extended test drive. When I arrived all the paperwork was ready to sign. They cleaned up the car and we were ready to go in about an hour or less. I would highly recommend anyone searching for a Honda deal with Phil Hughes Honda, and particularly with the internet sales team.
