Be very wary Stuart FL Audi used car sales folks

by Be very wary Stuart FL Audi on 08/17/2020

I enquired about a used car. I was told the car could not leave the lot for an inspection by my mechanic. "I have never had a customer ask this before". There were about $1100-1200 in needless fees and costs, "all dealers in FL charge these...I have never lost a sale due to this". I asked other specific questions - never answered despite multiple emails. Another 1 or 2 sales people got involved. Also, with no answers to specific questions. Best advice: run away. My guess is that many of the very positive reviews are not genuine.

FIRST car for our daughter

by Tardiff on 08/28/2018

It was already stressful enough that this would be the first car shopping experience for our first-born, but David Lange seriously made the experience a personal one. One we will certainly never forget. He was very thorough and kind. Our daughter was made to feel very comfortable, too. We are very happy with the car we found, and we are very thankful for the cost we got the vehicle for, too. We would highly recommend Audi Stuart to family and friends.

Be prepared to walk out before buying.

by 1sebringnow on 08/24/2018

Had a very bad experience trying to purchase a car here a few weeks ago. Made the mistake of not using the internet to negotiate any price. Instead, used a floor salesman and then a floor sales manager. When initially discussing terms, the sales manager gave the current interest rate which went with a rebate, Sales manager (Tim) told me they would beat any price because they were such a large dealership. I was easily able to find a better price and when shared with the sales manager the dance started. He simply matched an alternate deal, never beating it. Then he tried to raise the interest rate on the loan (we easily qualified for the lowest rate). There were also other issues surrounding the sale which required follow up from the sales people there. Once they had my deposit, it was like I didn't exist. When the sales manager wanted me to pay for shipping for another car, I had had enough. They held our large deposit for quite some time, getting it back from them was quite a bumpy experience, Quite simply, this dealership did not deserve the business we wanted to give it. The deceitfulness still grates me, so I write this as a warning for those brave souls who want to buy a car here. Be wary, [non-permissible content removed] still do exist. The good news is there is plenty of opportunity to improve. I suggest mandatory attendance to a morals and ethics course may be of some assistance in reshaping how customers are dealt with.

Very, Very Satisfied

by Bill_G on 06/07/2018

I have been communicating with Artur Golovatii back and forth for the past 10 hours and through it all there has been no pressure at all. We have talked, texted, he sent pictures and videos with explanations and as a Senior I have never been treated so well by a automobile salesman. I applaud Artur AND Stuart Audi... And, it’s not over yet, we still working on it...

Sold car out from under me

by wellsk7 on 03/30/2018

Reached out regarding a used CPO vehicle today and had been in discussions around purchasing said vehicle. The person I was working with sent to have a purchase agreement drawn up only to call me back and tell me that the car had been sold earlier in the day. What the hell??? What kind of business are they running? Then I was told "well you didn't put down a deposit" but I was never advised that I should or needed to do so! This is a total [non-permissible content removed] and I would never recommend doing business with this dealership if this is how they treat an obvious buyer.

Worst sales experience in 40 years.

by carlover on 10/18/2017

I purchased an Audi from this dealer on August 30 2017 and arranged to have it shipped to me in Colorado. I finally received the vehicle October 7. Here is why: The dealer refused to work with my credit union claiming they could not accept a letter of credit and they could not allow my credit unions title department to process the paperwork to get my temporary plates due to Florida law. In reality they just wanted to charge me a few hundred in extra fees. The hurricane delayed the transaction by about a week. After switching to their bank they refused to ship my vehicle until they were funded by the bank. I had never heard of this before and when their bank called me to confirm a few details I told him that I had yet to receive the vehicle. His response was that the dealership would not get their money until I received my vehicle and was completely satisfied. I passed this on to the sales guy. Magically the vehicle shipped the next day. My car finally arrived 6 weeks after purchasing it. But it was missing the temporary plates they made such a big deal about having to do and I discovered another omission - they never told me they did not have a second set of keys. So I had to wait another 3 days for them to ship me the plates before I could drive it. The sales guy apologized profusely for how badly this deal got screwed up and asked how he could make me happy. I suggested an extended warranty to which he replied "be responsible". I think he meant "be reasonable". Fair enough. He also tried to reason with me that the roof rack that was missing from the vehicle that he took off another vehicle and installed on mine in order to get the deal closed was more than enough to make up for failing to disclose the lack of a second set of keys. I called their bank and let them know that I had received the vehicle but was not yet satisfied due to the lack of plates or spare keys. I finally got my plates and took the car for a drive. I then sent a followup text telling him that failing to disclose the second set of keys was not ok, and that I never would have agreed to the deal had I known this information. Later that day I received a call from this sales guy. He asked me if I refused to release the bank funds to which I explained what had transpired. He told me the general manager is beyond angry and that they did not want to do business with someone like myself, and that he tried to make amends but could not (no idea what he actually tried to do other than tell me to be "responsible". He said he would send a truck the next day to pick up the car to which I said fine (which I think infuriated them even more). An hour later he sends me a text message with a completely made up lie about how I was in serious trouble because I told the trucking company that I would not release the vehicle to them and I had a contract. I never received any such call. He reconfirmed the vehicle would be picked up the next day. I asked him for a document confirming my deposit would be refunded upon release of the vehicle to which he never responded. The next morning I called the bank and let them know what was happening. I spoke with someone who wanted to know if I wanted to keep the car or return it. I told him I wanted to keep the car but they wanted it back. I further explained to him that it was his banks advice that created the current situation. He told me if I received the vehicle he could not hold up the funds. I said fine. I sent a final text to the sales guy telling him how poor the experience was and that he knew where to find my if he wanted to make amends. I have not heard back from him. All this over a set of keys. At the end of the day this vehicle which I thought I was getting at a great price has ended up costing me at least $1500 more in various expenses. My advice: If you are considering buying from them factor in the extra costs and see if is really worthwhile. I hope Sam (sales guy) and Steve (finance) enjoy the read.

Best sales experience ever

by CaribDon on 02/06/2017

"Went above and beyond customer service" I recently purchased a Certified pre owned Audi allroad from Audi Stuart. It was the most pleasurable buying experience I have ever had, from the no pressure and professional sales person Steve Ellison to the reassuring Rocco Sainato in financing. While I loved my car, it did not love me and a pre existing back injury was re aggravated by the Audi seats. I learned in a few days, I could not live with this car. No fault of the car or dealer, just my back condition which can't handle luxury leather seats apparently. I didn't know what to do, but General Manager Devin Carlson was great and worked with me to give me an excellent trade through one of their other dealerships. I found a new car I love and can drive in comfortably. I thought I was going to lose my shirt having owned the car only a week, but everything worked out great. I can't thank Devin and his staff enough for taking such good care of me. The Brickell family of dealerships has earned customer for life.

Dealer not focused!

by Carbuyersoon on 08/12/2016

This dealer dropped the ball with my wife and I. They said we couldn't get the car we wanted, it wasn't available. Tried to sell us something else. I went on the internet the next day and found what we wanted at the closest dealer n Palm Beach. They flat out lied to us.

Total frustration with highly unethical practices

by spartan42 on 01/07/2015

As a former car dealer, I guess I expect all salesmen and dealerships to follow a code of exemplary conduct. This was not the case in dealing with Audi in Stuart, Florida. I have been buying and selling cars for over 40 years and a first finally happened. After searching the net for over a week, from Lexus, Mercedes, BMW, etc., I finally made my decision to purchase my first audi. I had given my credit card authorizing $5,000 as a down payment on my purchase. After discussions with Paul Newman, Finance Mgr., regarding financing options. He provided an email copy of the loan application. At approximately 9:30 p.m., I received a call from Cal Harris, my salesman, informing me our deal was dead due to a previous sale not noted on any computer system, tagging of the vehicle, and a total breakdown in communications within their sales department. I could not believe a supposedly 5-star organization could be so incompetent. In reading 11 reviews, 6 were complimenting Pierre Uteschill, salesman, with performance, integrity and willingness to uphold a conduct of ethics. I feel had I reached Pierre and not Cal Harris, perhaps the outcome would have been different. So, back to the drawing board and the net. I will find another auto to my liking but definitely not through Audi Stuart. I am writing several reviews, not only to Audi Stuart, but other websites. Hopefully, people looking to purchase will do their diligence before accepting a salesman's misrepresentations. A final thought: Why did it take Cal Harris 7 hours to discover the car I had purchased, had been previously sold?????
