Called dealer and made an appointment for 10 AM next day to see a used car that we liked on the internet. We live 2 hours away. Next morning we left, got caught in traffic. At 10 AM we got a call from the dealership and we told them we would be 20 min. late, they said they were looking forward to seeing us and would have the vehicle out front waiting for us. We arrived at 10:25 AM, after approximately 20 minutes of the sales person trying to find the car, the Asst. used car Manager came over and said they had sent the car to the auction. Would have been nice if they had called us before driving 2-1/2 hours for nothing.

This past July I was in a car accident that left my car a total loss. After shopping a few Dealeships in the Orlando area without making a deal at any of them I was referred to Don Reid Ford by a close friend who had a great experience ther with her last car purchase. I was told to contact Glenn I. in the Finance dept. I have less than desireable credit and needed some assistance in finding a good car and a better deal without being turned away as I was by other Car Dealers and my friend said Glenn is the guy to see. I contacted Glenn and set an appointment to come in the next day. After test driving a couple cars I found the one I liked A 2012 focus sel, It took just few minutes of discussion and since I was already approved by Don Reid when I arrived we agreed on the price and about an hour later I left in my new car. What a surprise the entire sales experience and the staff Glenn I., Keith H and Dave M. at Don Reid were excelent. I certainly reccomend this dealer for you automobile needs. James D

I deliberated about buying a hybrid for several months. I established a good relationship with my sales person in the first visit, and by the third visit, he greeted me when I arrived. He was focused on my making the best decision for me, challenging my purchase decision as I went through the deliberation process. I decided it was the right decision. I visited another dealership in the process, but settled back with Don Reid Ford.

Don Reid Ford of Maitland, FL. was the best, easiest and least stress car purchase I've ever experienced in car buying in 35 years. I contacted Don Reid Ford via internet regarding a vehicle in their inventory. I asked for the best internet price, told them the financing and length of terms I was looking for and had my contact returned by Rick Marshall within hours. Rick gave me a very good price quote with the terms and conditions I asked for. I made an appointment to see the vehicle and meet Rick. My wife and I arrived and had the best time ever in any car dealership in 35 years. We actually had fun, believe it or not. Rick spared no effort to show us what we wanted, what was immediately available in inventory, and if not in inventory would find the car for us and have it delivered to the dealer. We test drove two vehicles and made our decision without any pressure, hard sale, sales hand offs or bait and switch tactics. We dealt with Rick Marshall all the way. We negotiated a fair trade -in value for my car w/o any team tag pressure at all. What a huge relief that was. I had done my research on Edmunds.com and other places and had a very good idea of what the costs for all vehicles, new and trade, plus finance options would be before I arrived at the dealership. I can truthfully express my thanks to Rick Marshall and Don Reid Ford in Maitland, FL. for a very, very pleasant buying experience.
